Hell Hath No Fury is the 61st main story mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Hell Hath No Fury Main Quest including all Gold Medals for 100% completion.
Hell Hath No Fury starts automatically after completing A Kind and Benevolent Despot and Savagery Unleashed.
Quest Giver: N/A
Chapter: 5
Region: Guarma
Gold Medal Requirements:
- Prevent 4 boats from reaching the shore
- Destroy the Naval ship without missing a shot
- Complete with at least 70% accuracy
Starting Location: Guarma
Defend Cinco Torres
While meeting with Hercule about a way off the island, Cinco Torres is attacked by the Cuban navy.
- GOLD MEDAL: Complete with at least 70% accuracy
Shoot the soldiers on the beach and the bridge to the south. Take your time and line up your shots carefully to keep your accuracy high.
When Hercule calls you over, help him push the cannon into position.
More reinforcements will land at the beach, marking the point where you need to watch out for boats landing.
Head down to the lower levels by following the others through the fort.
- GOLD MEDAL: Prevent 4 boats from reaching the shore
Follow Dutch out onto the battlements and clear out any soldiers you encounter. Keep an eye on your mini-map to warn you of any boats coming from the warship with reinforcements. Use Dead Eye to eliminate all the soldiers before they reach shore.
When you have killed any boats on the west side, move to the east side of the bridge to take care of any landing there. There should be three or more on each side, in case you miss one.
Regroup with Dutch and Hercule at the base of the fort
Meeting with Hercule, he reasons that two of you must use the cannon and eliminate the warship that is shelling Cinco Torres.
Follow Hercule up to the cannon, and he will lead you to open paths when the normal ones are destroyed.
Eventually you will run up the hillside next to the fort in order to reach the top.
A cinematic will play and you will man the cannon.
- GOLD MEDAL: Destroy the Naval ship without missing a shot
Between the haze of morning and the smoke of its own cannons, it can be hard to tell if you’re hitting the warship. The key is to aim a little above the ship in order to compensate for the drop of the shot as it flies through the air. If you aim a bit above the ship as shown in the picture below, you should strike it just at the waterline. Be sure to readjust after every shot. Between recoil and incoming fire, your aim can vary wildly after each shot.
When the magazine is empty, the prompt to reload will light up. Press / right away to swap in fresh ammo.
Eventually, the ship will be sunk and the mission will be over. Whew!
This finishes Hell Hath No Fury main mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now the next quest Paradise Mercifully Departed starts.

Lee says
For anybody struggling to stop 4 boats, what you wanna do is send Hercule to the left and Dutch to the right, then take out one boat on the left yourself. Come back to Dutch’s side and take out two more. After that, go back to the left and take out one or two more. The warship actually takes one boat out and I don’t know if that counts as one for you or not. There will be one more boat coming from the right side as well. Conserve dead eye up until this part as you need it to steady your aim. Just go for body shots as you don’t need headshots in this mission.

Is there a reason why my sniper rifle isn’t landing shots when the reticle is red? I have to shoot boat rowers like, seven times just to hit them twice. Obviously this ruins two gold medals.
