Talk to Abigail
- GOLD MEDAL: Complete within 7 minutes 30 seconds
Skip all the cinematics! Nothing says romance like a mission to ask for a woman’s hand in marriage, then put a time limit on it. Add that to the list of things for which Abigail needs to forgive you. Free furniture is a great start though. Abigail suggests that you spend some time together in town, and that’s a nice change of pace.
When you have control again, fast walk to the wagon and get on.
Keep it cool, John. You’re going to blow the surprise.
Drive to Blackwater, whipping the horses to their top speed. Park the wagon outside the photo studio at the waypoint marker. Skip the cinematic. (Dammit John, I said keep cool!)
Go to the photo studio. Skip another cinematic. Pick any backdrop, Skip yet another cinematic, then have your photo taken in the first pose that comes up.
Skip the cinematic, then go across the street to a show. Buy a ticket at the cage, then go inside to watch the movie.
Outside again, start walking towards the shore to the southeast. The waypoint will pop up shortly, but before you reach it a cinematic will take over. Skip it!
Row out to the waypoint.
Then, when prompted, you know what to do.
Skip the ending cinematic, you heartless bastard.
This finishes A New Future Imagined main mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now the next quest American Venom starts.

Wild Yak says
I completed this without skipping any cutscenes or the movie, scrolling through all the backdrops and poses. Obviously skipping everything and choosing the first options will give you the best margin.
Roy says
I still got gold without skipping any.
Mr Francis Cook says
Most of the gold badge requirements need you to finish within a time limit.
What’s the point of that. You’re just going to miss details!
