Rage 2 Trophy Roadmap
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10
- Approximate amount of time to platinum: 20 – 40 hours
- Offline Trophies: 44 (1, 2, 17, 24)
- Online Trophies: 0
- Number of missable trophies: 0 – NOTE: If you complete the guaranteed Crusher location to use for Crushed you either need to wait for a random spawn Crusher or start a new playthrough. Zipper is also very annoying to get if you don’t farm it in a specific area, but can be done right near the start of the game as well.
- Glitched trophies: The Bigger They Are… can potentially not unlock after killing all 7 guaranteed Crusher spots. You can trigger it by killing another of the random spawning ones or by killing one in a new playthrough.
The Statistics menu is glitchy and doesn’t track stats correctly, but trophy tracking is separate and trophies should pop at the correct time even if your totals in the stats menu are way off. - Does difficulty affect trophies?: No difficulty trophies, can be played on easy
- Minimum Playthroughs: 1
Introduction
Welcome to the Rage 2 Trophy Guide! Unlike the first game in the series this sequel is a fully open world game, where after the first story mission you’re basically free to go wherever on the map that you wish completing locations and missions in whichever order you please. The majority of the trophies are related to doing miscellaneous things with a portion of the weapons or abilities, with some other for exploration and a few for collectibles. It’s set up to push you to trying out different playstyles and activities the game has to offer, without hamstringing you too hard into playing a specific way. There is one potential missable and a couple other trophies that can be annoying if you aren’t aware of them, though nothing that takes overly long to clean up at the end or can’t be quickly done by starting a new playthrough on Easy.
Step 1: Play through the story while completing locations to get upgrade materials, go for Wingstick headshots and ability kills
Once you complete the first story mission the game world completely opens up to you, and you can go around completing locations or the three story branches in whichever order you please. Once you complete two missions for each of the project leaders you’ll gain access to the final mission in the game. While completing locations be on the lookout for Spy Drones as you need to destroy a total of 30 for one trophy and there isn’t a way to know which you have destroyed other than cross-referencing a list against the Drone intel you gain when they are destroyed. There are thankfully more than 30 in the game but you will want to try and kill as many as possible anyway for Project points for more upgrades.
While playing through the story you will want to always be trying to get headshot kills using the wingstick, as well as pay attention to the other weapon/ability related trophies that take a while to unlock. These can all still be completed after the story, but some can become more annoying as you progress into the higher level areas due to there being more powerful enemy types replacing the weak enemies in the first area.
Be aware of the locations “Hard Top Bandit Den” and the Crusher Nest in the Wilds region. These are locations you really want to use for the trophies “Zipper” and “Crushed” respectively, so be sure to check those descriptions early so you know what to pay attention for.
Step 2: Clean up locations post story for Unlocks / Collectibles if needed, complete the remaining miscellaneous Trophies
After you have completed the story you can continue around the game world cleaning up locations for more upgrade materials and finishing off any of the remaining misc trophies you have.
Step 3: Start a new playthrough for Crushed/Zipper if you missed them in your first one
If you completed the recommended spots to do Crushed and Zipper you can still earn them in the same playthrough but they both become more annoying. If you wish you can start a new playthrough and earn them both fairly quickly at the start of the game.
Useful Tips, Tricks and Guides:
Rage 2 Trophy Guide
Post-Post-Apocalyptic Poster Child Collect all other trophies |
||||
Earn all other trophies in Rage 2 to unlock platinum (DLC trophies not needed).
Efficiency Use the Assault Rifle to kill 5 enemies in a row without reloading |
||||
Can most easily be done right at the start of the game, right after you’re given the Assault Rifle when you put on the Ranger suit. The enemies in the next area are all weak grunt enemies that go down in a few shots, so aim for headshots on them and make sure to not reload until you’ve killed 5.
Unloaded Shoot 70 bullets within 16 seconds using the Assault Rifle |
||||
Can be done right at the start of the game, right after you’re given the Assault Rifle when you put on the Ranger suit. Hold down the trigger on the Assault Rifle to empty one magazine, then reload and do it again with a second to shoot a total of 70 bullets.
Skeet Shooting Hit an airborne enemy with the Shotgun’s Slug Shot |
||||
To earn this trophy you must first get the Combat Shotgun, which is obtained during the Blackout mission, one of the three you are given once you gain access to the open world. Midway through the mission you’ll find an ark with this weapon inside, and it will take you through a tutorial explaining how the gun works. Using its secondary fire to shoot slugs when aiming down sights, you need to shoot an airborne enemy (doesn’t matter if you kill them).
There is an easy place near the end of the Blackout mission where you can do this. The final room with the valve and switches has a bridge that goes between the two switch rooms that has a gap in the middle. After you kill the boss enemy that spawns when you turn the valve a bunch of Mutants will spawn. Head up to the bridge and get on the opposite side of it from the mutants. Wait for one to jump the gap in the middle and shoot it while it’s in midair to earn the trophy. |
||||
Hyper-Express Kill 2 enemies with the same shot using the Hyper-Cannon |
||||
The Hyper-Cannon is obtained from the Greenhaven Ark in The Wilds region. This is basically a railgun that shoots a beam that can penetrate multiple enemies . After obtaining the gun you just have to kill 2 enemies at once with one shot (not counting the dummies in the training simulation). Once you exit the Ark a wall will blow open in front of you, and if you proceed into this area you’ll run into a group of Mutants who are prime fodder for your new gun. Just lead a few of the melee ones back a ways and line them up and kill two with a charge shot for a quick spot to get the trophy.
Postmodern Picasso Rupture a total of 200 enemies using the Rocket Launcher |
||||
The (smart) Rocket Launcher is obtained from the Strongbox Ark in the Torn Plains region. This is a Rocket Launcher that either shoots contact rockets or when L2 is held lets you lock on to multiple targets to fire a salvo is small tracking missiles. For this trophy you just have to kill a total of 200 enemies using the Rocket Launcher.
If you wish you can farm this trophy in any Bandit Den by leaving one enemy alive then reloading your last Autosave. This will keep your stats but will reset the Bandit Den as long as you don’t kill all enemies to complete it. |
||||
Overly driven Reach an Overdrive multiplier of 10 |
||||
Your overdrive multiplier increases with each kill you get in a short period of time, and as it goes higher you gain more power for your overdrive ability and enemies drop more Feltrite when killed. To get this trophy you first have to purchase the “Unlocked Overdrive Multiplier” upgrade in the Projects menu under the Basic category. Once you do this then this trophy is practically unmissable, as there are many locations in the world that have at least 10 enemies in a small area. Make sure to quickly kill enemies without too much time in between each so that you’re multiplier doesn’t drop and you’ll regularly be hitting a multiplier of 10.
THIS IS RAGE Use Dash Strike kick to kill 10 enemies |
||||
To earn this trophy you first have to purchase the “Dash Strike” upgrade for the Dash ability, which first requires using 500 Feltrite to unlock the second level of the Dash ability in the Nanotrites menu, then purchasing the perk in the second tier using one Nanotrite Booster. Once you have it unlocked just use this ability to kill a total of 10 enemies. This is most easily done on any of the unarmored grunts you can find all over the open map, or any of the weak mutants.
Come on and Slam! Crush 50 enemies using Slam |
||||
To earn this trophy you must first unlock the Slam ability, which is obtained from the Earthscar ark in the Torn Plains region. Once you have this you just have to kill a total of 50 enemies using the ability. No extra perks are needed for this ability, but you can purchase them to make it more effective.
Pseudo Post-Mortem Kill 3 enemies within 10 seconds after restoring all health with the Defibrillation |
||||
To earn this trophy you first have to unlock the Defibrillation ability, then upgrade it’s level fully and unlock two of the additional perks for it at the very least. You unlock the Defibrillation ability by going to the Canyon Cove Ark in the Broken Tract region, straight southeast of the town Gunbarrel. You then need it to be at level 5 so that each shock regenerates 25% of your health, and then buy the perks “Reshock 1 & 2” which let you activate 4 shocks when in defib. Once you have those all unlocked you have to get downed, successfully activate all 4 shocks so that you regen to full health, then kill 3 enemies within 10 seconds of being picked up. This is easiest to do in one of the lower level locations on the south side of the map, just so that there are weaker enemies with less armor.
Off With Their Heads Headshot a total of 100 enemies using the Wingstick |
||||
Wingsticks make a return from the first game and you have access to them right near the start of the game. They basically function as a bladed boomerang that you throw instead of a Grenade, and it will at the start have some minor tracking toward enemies then if there is room it will come back to you, or break if it hits any solid objects. For this trophy you have to kill a total of 100 enemies with headshots from your Wingsticks, which isn’t a small number and will likely take most of the game while spending time actively aiming to get it.
Upgrades to keep in mind that may help you out are the two throwable inventory increases in the “Kill and Destroy” project section which allows you to carry up to 8 wingsticks at once, as well as the Wingstick upgrade schematics which can be purchased from traders that increase wingstick damage and allow you to craft them if you need more. If you wish you can farm this trophy in any Bandit Den by leaving one enemy alive then reloading your last Autosave. This will keep your stats but will reset the Bandit Den as long as you don’t kill all enemies to complete it. |
||||
Explosive Ending Kill an enemy with a Turret Drone explosion |
||||
To earn this trophy you need to obtain all 4 of the Turret Drone upgrade schematics, which are purchased from various vendors in the game world. One each can be purchased from general goods vendor in Dreadwood, Lagooney, and Oasis, then the final fourth one can be purchased from the Traveling Trader that drives around the map. Once you have all of the upgrades this will cause the drones to explode when they are destroyed, and you need to kill one enemy with this explosion. You can toss out the drone then immediately shoot it yourself to cause it to explode, you don’t need to let enemies kill it.
Zipper Kill 13 enemies while riding ziplines |
||||
Zipper Trophy/Achievement Guide (Youtube Link) Ziplines are placed around the game world, normally in Bandit Dens or some other exploration locations. You can shoot while riding ziplines, but in almost all cases they are placed in areas where you don’t want to be riding them when there’s enemies around, and they’re much too short and you move too fast on them to be able to reasonably shoot anyone. It’s highly recommended that you farm this trophy at the “Hard Top” Bandit Den in the Twisting Canyons area of the game, as it has a perfect setup to allow you to easily farm a zipline kill then jump off the nearby cliff to respawn the enemy. This location is straight North North-East of Vineland, just beside the Highroad Block Road Choker which is straight North up the road from Vineland. Before being able to farm this easily you first need to finish the “Blackout” mission for Marshall in Gunbarrel. Once you finish this you have access to the “Kill and Destroy” projects section, where you’ll find in the first tier an upgrade called “Surprise Attack” which makes you deal 5x damage to an unaware enemy. Once you have this unlocked head over to the Bandit Den without going in it. On the West side near the cliff edge you should see a small hill with a zipline at the top, and on the bottom of the zipline if the enemies aren’t aware of you should see one Goon standing around. Ride the zipline and quickly shoot the Goon before you reach the bottom. If they’re still unaware of you it should one shot them. Once you’re off the zipline jump off the nearby cliff edge to respawn yourself, which also respawns the enemies as long as you don’t kill them all to trigger the completion of the Bandit Den. Repeat however many times you need until you earn the trophy. If you completed this location without farming this trophy you can quickly get back in a spot to farm it by starting a new game and ripping through the first mission and the Blackout mission to unlock the project and upgrade, then quickly farming it out. |
||||
The Bigger They Are… Kill 7 Abadon Mutant Crushers |
||||
*Potentially Glitched*
There are only 7 guaranteed spots to kill Crushers in the game so this trophy is intended for you to kill all 7 of them. One of them is story related and must be killed at the end of the mission “Wasteland Celebrity”, with the remaining 6 being spread between 5 Crusher Nest locations in the game world, with one location in each world region other than Broken Tract. The location D and D’s Hood is the only outdoor one, and is the one recommended to be used to earn the trophy “Crushed” for killing one with the Phoenix. The other 4 are basically underground dungeons with the Crusher in a room at the end. See the two below maps if you want to take a look at the 5 open world locations for the Nests (circled in red). NOTE: There seems to be potential for this trophy to glitch and not unlock after killing all 7 Crushers. It would be recommended you make a save before completing the final nest just in case, because if you kill all 7 and it doesn’t pop you will have to either find one of the random spawn ones or start a new game and killing another to get it to pop. |
||||
Hot Potato Reflect an enemy’s grenade |
||||
To earn this trophy you first need to purchase the “Grenade Tennis” upgrade. This is in the “Kill and Destroy” projects section which you gain access to after completing the story mission “Blackout”. It is the rightmost upgrade in the first tier. Once you have unlocked it you just need to melee while an enemy is through a grenade at you to reflect it away. If you see any baseball bat wielding enemies in the open world these are a good enemy to do this with, as if they are at range from you they’ll hit grenades toward you with their bats.
If you’re struggling hitting one out of the air the second upgrade in this line called “Smash Grenade Tennis” lets you deflect grenades after they’ve hit the ground. |
||||
Goon De-leet Kill 1337 Goons |
||||
Goons are specifically the faction of human raider enemies with the crazy hair and improvised looking armor. They are mostly typically found in the Bandit dens in the Twisting Canyons, Broken Tract, and Torn Plains regions, and can spawn along roads or in other locations. Killing 1337 of these enemies is quite a bit, so if you want to get it out of the way you can farm a single Bandit Den for kills by killing enemies until there is only one left, then reloading your last autosave. This will keep your stats for the trophy but will reset the Location and respawn all enemies. Find one that you like and keep reloading until the trophy pops.
There is a section in the Statistics menu under Factions for Goon Squad kills that you can potentially use to get an idea of how many you have, but the Stats menu is currently buggy and can drop stats randomly so it isn’t totally reliable (though the trophy tracking isn’t based off of it so you don’t need to worry about it in that manner). |
||||
Peek-a-boo Kill a cloaked Shrouded enemy |
||||
Shrouded are the second faction of raider-esque enemy you will run into in the game. They typically always have full body armor and helmets, and are able to cloak themselves to be nearly invisible. For this trophy you need to kill one while they are invisible, which is somewhat annoying as they don’t stay cloaked for long and some of the enemy types don’t cloak very frequently. For the easiest time I would recommend waiting until you have the Hyper-Cannon before really going for this, as it’s able to one shot the enemies on Easy difficulty even if their armor hasn’t been knocked off. I’d also recommend trying this on one of the melee Shrouded if possible, because they seem to cloak more frequently than the enemies that use firearms. Once you find a suitable enemy you basically just have to wait with your Hyper-Cannon charged while aiming, and hope they decide to cloak. When they are quickly get a shot off on them and if you actually killed them while they were still invisible the trophy should pop immediately.
The Enemy Of My Enemy Kill an enemy that is trying to kill an enemy |
||||
While driving around the open world you’ll occasionally see groups of enemies fighting each other, typically grunt level raiders trying to kill grunt level mutants. Kill one of them while they are engaged in combat with each other to earn this trophy. It’s very possible to earn this without even trying to if you happen to run over one of the enemies if they’re out in the road.
Bytesize Takedown Destroy 128 Vehicles while driving the Phoenix |
||||
Enemy vehicles are typically found driving around at random while attacking friendly NPCs, or driving around with convoys. While going around the game world it would be recommended that you continue using the Phoenix whenever possible instead of using other road vehicles or the hover bike, and take out any enemy vehicles you happen to come across.
Gonevoy Take down 1 Convoy Leader |
||||
Convoys are marked on the map with an orange tire icon, and drive around the main roads all over the open world. They typically consist of couple bikes that drop traps, a few cars, and the large lead vehicle that basically functions as a boss. The first one you chase after the game will give a small tutorial explaining how to take out the lead vehicle. For this trophy you just have to take out the main vehicle for one of the convoys on the map, which rewards you with vehicle upgrade parts.
Crushed Kill an Abadon Mutant Crusher with the Phoenix |
||||
This is trophy is not completely missable, but if you complete the recommended location for it without killing one with the Phoenix you need to try and find one of the random spawn Crushers which aren’t guaranteed to spawn. The recommended location is called D and D’s Hood, and is located in The Wilds region on the North part of the map. If you’re looking for it and don’t have it marked yet it’s directly West of the closed loop of roads on that part of the map, in the area with the large number of small paths. The spot with the bosses themselves is up a large cliff in between 4 tall buildings.
To get to this area it’s best to start up the main road where it is a T in that orientation, then follow the path just West of it proceeding South. This path with have a Pit Stop location on it, and if you follow that path South along the straight marked paths you will go across two trees and a broken pipe to get up to the buildings area. The best way to get the Phoenix up there is to go across the first tree and the pipe, then just past the pipe spawn the Phoenix so you don’t actually need to attempt to drive it through the pipe. Get inside then carefully drive it up the second tree to the area with the buildings where the two Crushers are spawned. Once you have the car up here you can either kill one of the two enemies solely with the Phoenix, or to be safer kill one then weaken the other on foot, then get the killing blow using the Phoenix’s weapons, you don’t need to fully kill it using the Phoenix. Once the Crusher is dead you will earn the trophy. If you complete this location without killing one with the Phoenix you can either try and find one of the random spawn Crushers in the open world or you can get this fairly quick at the start of a new playthrough. If starting a new playthrough complete the first mission so you can have access to the open world, then drive yourself all the way up to the same spot to get the car in position. You won’t have many weapons to fight them with, but it’s still reasonably manageable on Easy difficulty if you have to go this route to get the trophy. If wanting to kill one in the open world, two potential spots are to the South-West of Wellspring on the raised platform areas, or in the large black crater South-East of Gunbarrel, past the location of the Feltrite Meteorite. These spots aren’t guaranteed to have Crushers in them, so if this is one of the last things you need you’re potentially better starting a new playthrough instead of hoping for one of them to spawn in these random spots. |
||||
On The Limit Maintain top speed for 10 seconds with the Raptor |
||||
The Raptor is a unique bike that is unlocked when you reach level 10 in the Capture and Control Project by completing any Orange map objectives. When you do you’re given the Raptor to spawn from the vehicle menu or take from any of the hubs. Once you have it the best location to earn this trophy is the long road West of the Torn Plains Chazcar Derby Track that stretches all the way down the edge of that region to the map edge in the Broken Tract region. Starting at the T intersection in the road North-West of the Track and heading south, if you’re able to maintain speed the trophy should pop right around the boundary between the two regions. This road is pretty wide so just keep boosting along and should should be able to get it without issue.
Over 9000 Drive over 9000 meters |
||||
Effectively unmissable, you’ll be spending a lot of time driving around in the game, and 9000 meters isn’t very much with the size of the game world. You should earn this very early on within the first few story missions.
Hangtime Jump over 100 meters with a ground vehicle |
||||
There are ramps all over the world that you can take your vehicle off, but if you don’t get this while driving around you’re basically guaranteed to get it during teh Chazcar Derby race you have to win to advance in the Wasteland Celebrity mission. The track has multiple large jumps that should put you well over the required distance.
Acid House Complete the Torn Plains Race under 3:03 |
||||
The Torn Plains Race is the Chazcar Derby one that you are required to win to advance the Wasteland Celebrity story mission. This is a two lap race around a winding track with a few jumps and alternate paths. My second try I won the race with a time of 3:01, so if you can actually win the race to progress the story mission you shouldn’t have much issue getting the required time. Make sure to take the inside path when there are multiple going around turns, and keep using boost whenever you have it available. The way the handling for the cars works you can basically use boost to pull yourself around corners when drifting which keeps your speed up.
Note that you do have to win the race to pop the trophy, if you get under 3:03 but come in second it won’t unlock. |
||||
Off Balance Knock 19 bikers off their bikes with the Phoenix’s Dodge |
||||
Pressing while moving in the Phoenix causes it to do a quick shift to the left of the right depending on where you are aiming. If you hit an enemy on a bike with this dodge you will knock them off, and you must do this a total of 19 times. Bikes aren’t super common to see riding around the game world on their own, though they do occasionally show up. There are normally a couple bikes with each convoy though, so it would be recommended that you try and always take out those bikes with the dodge.
Dozing Scoop up an enemy with the Dumper Truck |
||||
A Dumper Truck is a yellow front end loader type vehicle that can be found in the open world. A spot I found one was in the Yeoman Growery Bandit Den that’s just north of Gunbarrel, right near the entrance to the camp. Once you have it you press L1 to raise and lower the bucket on the front. Lower it, then drive around and look for an enemy. Run into them somewhat slowing to get them into the bucket, then hold L1 again to raise it. Make sure to not hit the enemy too fast or they just gib immediately and it doesn’t count.
Goon Fire Blow up a Goon with the Goon tank Booma |
||||
The Booma is a large tank that can be found in the open world. A spot I found for one is the same as the above trophy, right by the entrance to the Yeoman Growery Bandit Den North of Gunbarrel. Head there and grab it, then use it’s L1 primary fire to kill one of the Goon enemies.
The Ranger Complete mission: The Ranger |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “The Ranger”, which is the first mission of the game.
Blackout Complete mission: Blackout |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “Blackout”, which is one of the three missions you are given once you have access to the open world.
The Signal Complete mission: The Signal |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “The Signal”, which you gain access to when you have reached level 5 with Marshall after completing “Blackout”.
Wasteland Celebrity Complete mission: Wasteland Celebrity |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “Wasteland Celebrity”, which is one of the three missions you are given once you have access to the open world.
Beneath the Surface Complete mission: Beneath the Surface |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “Beneath the Surface”, which you gain access to when you have reached level 5 with Loosum after completing “Wasteland Celebrity”.
Ground Control Complete mission: Ground Control |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “Ground Control”, which is one of the three missions you are given once you have access to the open world.
Double Cross Complete mission: Double Cross |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “Double Cross”, which you gain access to when you have reached level 5 with Kvasir after completing “Ground Control”.
Project Dagger Complete mission: Project Dagger |
||||
Automatic story-related trophy. Unlocks after completing mission “Project Dagger”, which is the final mission in that game that you gain access to after completing all prior missions.
A Noah Lot Complete 5 Arks |
||||
Arks are special pods that contain either Nanotrite abilities or weapons inside of them. They are found out in the open world marked with the blue hexagon icon, as well as in a couple story missions. Story ones count for this so this is effectively a story related trophy, and you need to go to all these to unlock abilities needed for other trophies as well, so will have entered 5 fairly early in the game.
Ark Locations: Twisting Canyons: 2 Arks Broken Tract: 3 Arks Torn Plains: 2 Arks The Wilds: 2 Arks Sekreto Wetlands: 2 Arks Dune Sea: 1 Ark |
||||
Can’t Stop Pop Pop 17 Balloons |
||||
Balloons are large yellow spheres that you’ll sometimes see floating around in the open world. Shooting them makes them drop a crate which contains Mutant parts and MBTV tokens. When you get near these they get marked on the map with a hot air balloon looking icon. These spawn randomly and don’t have specific set locations, so be sure to shoot them whenever you notice them on the map or on your radar. Picking up their dropped crate isn’t required for this trophy, so be sure to shoot the balloons even if you aren’t near to pick up their crate.
Mata Hari Manners Destroy 30 Spy Drones |
||||
Spy Drones are a moving type of collectible that can spawn in various types of map locations. They look like a dark metal tube that will be attached to walls with a blue/green eye at the end that follows you around. They also make a fairly loud humming noise when you are near them so you can use that to find them. When you look almost directly at them they will detach from their spot and attempt to fly away, where they will then move to a different map location (they apparently move between the same two locations if they get away from you). There are at least 34 in the game going by the number on the Intel logs they give when destroyed, so you don’t need to get absolutely every one, though the intel number they drop seems to be random so you can’t use that for tracking which you have. They also don’t always start in the same spot every playthrough, which spot they start at is random.
When searching for them in areas with enemies you should try to be aware of the sound they give off, and try not to look up at walls when you hear one near. You have to point fairly close to them for them to flee, so you don’t need to be staring at the ground when you hear one, but if you do see one and it gets away it would be recommended that you reload your last autosave to reset the location as you are better off getting them at their starting location instead of potentially having to search already completed locations that they might fly to. There is also an upgrade you can obtain in the 3rd tier of the Search and Recovery Project tree, but this uses the same radar as the one for containers, datapads, and Ark chests so it isn’t as useful as just listening for the noise they make. |
||||
The Bowels of a Rust Giant Venture inside the Dune Sea EcoPod |
||||
The Dune Sea EcoPod is an Exploration Location located just east of the city-esque area in the Dune Sea region. If you follow the Southern part of the back and forth road that leads West out of the Twisting Canyons region this EcoPod is location south of the road just before you reach the 4 way intersection in the road. This one you have to actually walk underneath it to earn the trophy, around where the two Ark chests are.
Forlorn Watcher Travel to the summit of the Broken Tract EcoPod |
||||
The Broken Tract EcoPod is an Exploration Location immediately North of the Trade Town Gunbarrel. It’s at the top of the large foliage covered hill just past the Yeoman Growery Bandit Den. Climb your way up the hill (or fly up using a vehicle) to get to the top of the hill so that it recognizes the pod as a location and the trophy should pop shortly after.
Sunken Hope Visit the Wetlands EcoPod |
||||
The Wetlands EcoPod is an Exploration Location that’s immediately North of the Trade Town Lagooney, practically straight out the front gate. Just get near to it so that it recognizes it as a location to earn the trophy.
Reaching out to the Past Traverse the bridge to the EcoPod in the Wilds |
||||
The Wilds EcoPod is an Exploration Location that is south of the closed Figure 8 road in the North section of the map. If you zoom in on the road you can see a small dead end path extending south, which is where the EcoPod is. Head over there and walk out onto the metal beam extending from it’s center to trigger the location and earn the trophy.
Wasteland Vagabond Visit every Trade Coalition settlement |
||||
Trade Coalitions are the hub cities that you can find in the world that have various vendors and important NPCs in them. There are 5 in total, with 3 of them (Gunbarrel, Wellspring, Lagooney) being locations you’re required to go to during the first few missions to find the Project leaders. The other two (Dreadwood and Oasis) are located in The Wilds and The Dune Sea regions respectively, and you have to go find them yourself because you aren’t required to actually go to them for story progression. See below maps if you need help finding their locations.

Is the spy drones trophy bugged?
I’ve played close to 20 hours and seen one so far.
Terence Button says
I’ve only found 5
David says
Unfortunately a spy drone escaped and it doesnt respawn, help?
Gage says
They apparently move between two spots, so if one gets away it moves to a second location. There are more than 30 for sure, so just make sure you’re getting as many as you can. If one gets away it’s easier to reload your save and do the location again instead of looking for it’s new spot.
Terence Button says
It goes to a different location
Jason Dowler says
Does anyone know why I can’t select the statistics option in the menu? It’s frustrating.
Sean Humphries says
Mine did that, the statistics haven’t been 100% accurate either. Saving and quitting then reloading worked, can see statistics again
Jason Dowler says
Yea they suddenly started working but they were all zero even though I’d spent a few hours on the game by then. Can’t keep track of my trophies now.
Jason Dowler says
I can confirm that the game records your specific kills despite the stats page. I just got the ‘off with their heads’ trophy for 100 wings tick headshots even though the stats page says only 48. It just would have been more helpful for it to work properly.

Zipper, Kill 13 enemies while riding ziplines.
Is there any other easy place to get this, as i’ve already cleared the recommended Bandit Den without realising i could farm it here, and if i start a new game it will overwrite my save and i’ll have to start all over again.
Nice guide so far, Thanks
Arkonite says
Hey, i don’t know another good spot yet but you can manually save your progress, start a new game and once got your trophy, reload your manually save from your first run 🙂
DoctorDrPepper says
Find a bandit den with a zip line and several enemies. Get next to the zip line, use the rocket launchers secondary lock on (preferably upgraded to select 4 targets) fire them off and jump on the zip line before they hit the target. If you’re on the zip line when they explode it counts as a zip line kill.
Reload your save and repeat till it pops.
Shahin says
For the zipper trophy, which bandit den are we talking about cause I’ve found two and im still very confused where the zipline is
Sean Humphries says
It’s called Hard Top, level 2 bandit camp, directly about 300m east of Highroad Block ( follow road north of Vineland)
Sean Humphries says
I’m guessing.many people will notice this anyway but for the Off Balance trophy I found it easy doing Convoys, there’s 3 bikers with every southern map Convoys, can either wait for another to spawn or save and quit and they’ll respawn with the convoy 🙂
Laxus says
You can farm most of the trophies by killing people in camps then reloading the last auto save. I got off with their heads trophy in 10 minutes doing this. But be careful, leave at least one enemy alive before reloading the save. I hope this can help.
Eddie says
These drones are pretty tough. I have only seen a few. I think 3 have already took off on me. Any tips – advice? Appreciate it in advance to anyone who has been successful with this one. Thanks!
Eater says
I haven’t found them all yet, but I’ve found using the icarus, and only having the drone tracking skill and no other tracking skills, you can just fly through every base you see till your tracker picks up a signal.
Jason R says
You should make a note under the Acid House trophy that you actually need to win the race for the trophy to pop. I came in second place with a time of 3:01 and it didn’t pop unfortunately.
While you do need to win for story progression, the trophy description misleads as it says to merely “complete”.
Gage says
Thanks for that info, I’ll add it in.
Fiel says
Can you farm kill and reload any autosave anywhere to accumulate it?
Gage says
Any location where the objective to complete it is for killing the enemies, as it will put you back with all the enemies alive.
Snake2410 says
If you have the deluxe edition the BFG can make Overly Driven pretty easy to get at the first Ark closest to the starting area once you can explore, and buy the 10x upgrade.
Get the bfg from the crater the meteorite creates to your left as you’re driving towards the ark. You get 3 shots with it.
Then just kill all the enemies in the ark and open it, you’ll get the shatter ability from it. Save your game after the tutorial ends. Then once you leave the ark a bunch more enemies will come in from the entrance, if you time it right and fire a fully charged bfg shot straight at the guys coming in the door, then another to the left set of enemies, and a third to the right set you should kill all 10 and get the 10x multiplier.
You can then reload your save and conserve your bfg ammo from there.
Lee Antrobus says
Praying for a spy drone location guide, encountered 3 in total, all the other trophies are very easy.
PhantomFear94 says
As others have mentioned, I’m really hoping for a Sky Drones guide. I know they alternate between 2 locations, other than that this could be really tough.
Drksoldier says
CRUSHER IS NOT MISSABLE. I found a Crusher that respawns and i believe is the one the Devs wanted you to kill. It require no special paths or clipping to get to with a Phoenix. It is by the Meteorite crash site just Southeast of Gunbarrel.

spiralking says
I also found one out in the open literally *right* outside Wellspring
(like if you slid down the edge of it)
Just SW of the “Undercity” Nest…
First crusher I killed and it was just standing alone out in the open and you simply need to drive the phoenix up one of the sides with an incline (there may be more, but there’s one easy incline on the W side) to get on his slightly raised little ‘arena’ he aggros on.
(likely you could also just park it facing and jump down and take him out at low health if he’s pulled close enough)
TL;DR
Easy location outside for crusher trophy
Gage says
I think these must be random spawns in some manner, I’ve not found one in either of these spots so far.
Non Entity says
I’ve also found one just a little north of White Stop, which is slightly North-East of the Wellspring Roadblock.
Laxus says
Thank you so much for your time and effort making this guide. I have only one trophy left to be obtain, the trophy is to collect 30 drones. I’ve encountered only 11. I am frustrated because this trophy is random. I hope you can help me in this regard.
Snake2410 says
Be careful, stats can reset on y ki u randomly. Not sure if it effects trophies, but I just had it bvb happen to me. All my stats went to 0 and I can’t figure out why. Was at 56 wing stick headshots too.
Snake2410 says
Ok, did some more testing and the trophy still popped at 100, even though my stats said 41. Had 56 before it reset, then another 3 before it reset a second time. But it must only be a visual bug, and your saves still track correctly.
Gage says
Yeah trophy stats are thankfully all tracked separate, the statistics menu isn’t reliable at all for trying to figure out where you’re at regrettably.
scott says
How do you even get to the statistics menu? I see “Statistics” in my pause menu but I cannot select it. My cursor skips right past it, I can select everything but that.
Gage says
Think that’s part of it being bugged. I wasn’t able to select it until my second day of playing.
PhantomFear94 says
“Statistics menu also doesn’t seem to track stats 100% correct so can’t be completely trusted in regards to trophy progress, but trophies are tracked separate so stats can have large variation.”
Can I clarify that this means accumulative achievements/trophies unlock at the correct times, and that the stats dropping is just a visual error? (i.e. if you had 25 wingstick headshot, and it went down to 11, you have still done 25/100 for the trophy?)
Laxus says
Yes it will remain as 25/100
Gage says
I’ll change that wording a bit to try and make it more clear
Khalid says
How do you get the turret drone beaten the game and still didn’t find it
Gage says
The traders in the locations listed in the trophy sell the upgrade schematic for it. You buy those and it moves the drone up a level.
peace4mr says
Thank you very much for excellent guide
I just want to say that:
1 1337 Goons kill trophy pops when statics say 1452
2 Mata Hari pops up when statics say 27
Hope that could help
Snake2410 says
Stats tab is glitched. It could say you only have 2 towards the 1337 goons and the trophy would pop. The trophy counters are seperate from the stats page counters. I had it completely reset on me multiple times now and still got those trophies.
Also, it may be beneficial to farm one of the crushers for the 7, to avoid having it glitch on you. I just farmed one of them 4 more times after killing 3 others and got the trophy. Just reload the auto save from before the one it creates when it completes whatever crusher mission you are killing it in.
I used The Ruined Shaft because it creates an auto save right before the fight, then one when you kill it. Reload the one from before the fight each time you kill it.

Ralf says
THE fucking spy drones i lookes 100 times the locations and no drone !!!!!!!!!!!!!! fu

How can I find out my stats
Please help me
Khalid says
The spy Drone trophy is killing me found 10 so far , does anyone have map that can show their locations?
PhantomFear94 says
Not to be pushy as I presume its a super hard collectible guide to make, but should we still expect a spy drones location guide at some point in the near future? Thanks!
PowerPyx says
It will go live within next 24 hours.
PhantomFear94 says
Thank you and Gage so much for all your hard work, we all appreciate and love you guys for it.
Keith says
How exactly do you do the Dash Kick? I’ve unlocked it via the skill tree but everytime I do the dash (L3 twice) and then immediately press R3, I just do the standard melee and not the kick. Can somebody explain to me how to do this ?
Keith says
Nevermind, I’m an idiot. I was doing the Rush instead of the dash.
PhantomFear94 says
Reached Level 5 with Marshall, but The Signal is just not showing up. So weir.d
PhantomFear94 says
Figured it out; if this happens to you, go back to an earlier save and just hit Level 5 again.
Xanthus says
A noah lot broke for me, i had 6 arks opened on the stats page by the time i finished my first playthrough. Even though i had opened them all. Tried 2 new games where i opened 5 arks in each save and still no trophy. Stats page now says i have opened 8 arks.
They really need to update the game to get fix these bugs. Im not sure that there is any way to fix the trophy glitch other than reinstalling the game and deleting my old saves so that the stats page gets refreshed. Unless the stats page is connected to the bethesda online servers….which would really suck. Its the last trophy i need and im stuck.
Any suggestions on how to fix this ? coz i really do not wanna re download the game.
PhantomFear94 says
For me on Xbox, “The Bigger They Are” was glitched in a positive way! I only did 5/7 and it popped (story crusher and the left image in your solution, which is 3 locations with 4 crushers). I definitely didn’t do any random ones, either.
Elmezzo says
Is it possible to do the trophy in two saves? For example i find 15 Drones then start a new save and find the others 15
PhantomFear94 says
This is reportedly possible, according to TrueAchievements (comment by Nexus) bit.ly/2WjuLFe
Pfroebbel says
Can you Kill the Spy Drones and reload the last Auto Save like for the Kills Trophys?
Gage says
Reloading saves in the same playthrough doesn’t work
Promyk says
Underpass – you have twice listed the same drone.
Braf says
The very first road block out from Vineland is an EXCELLENT ‘Zipper’ trophy farming spot. I got 2-3 every time I went there – drove back 10 seconds to Vineland – then just repeated. It took me 30 minutes and I never had to do the blackout mission. I would highly recommend this to anyone who hasn’t started the game or is looking to restart their game for the Hard Top farming section.
deeJayOg says
If you are struggling with Goon De-leet after finishing all the map, no worries. Grab a Bounty with goons, save before, finish it and then reload the save. It keeps all the stat.
After I did all the map and missions, I only needed about 200 extra goons to finish this up.
Non Entity says
Another easy way to do Skeet Shooting is to use Vortex and upgrade anti gravity so they hang in the air for longer
Elias Schmitz junior says
Guys, a noah lot is not unlocking for me… any one with this problem?
Snake2410 says
I may have found an easier way to spawn a Crusher in the open world. I’ve got it to work 3 times in a row now.
Fast travel anywhere several regions away from Broken Tract. Then Fast travel to the Mutant Bash TV: Killbox TV Grinder in the Broken Tract map, face away from the MBT building and run out of the place, turn slightly right and run towards the pool on the right.
There is a decently high chance a Crusher will spawn in that pool. I’ve killed like four of them while farming life glands for my final upgrade there, 3 were in a row.
Fghjh says
Can i collect say a 20 drones in first playthroug? Start a new game and grab the 10? Will it count?
Lee says
Skeet shooting aint working fo rme at all blast 3 of them in the air while aiming down the sights and nothing
HubyK says
For the “The bigger they are…” trophy, my game had actually bugged one of the crushers in D n D’s, I had 6/7 killed with the game finished, reloaded my save from before D n Ds and was able to get the 7th kill for trophy, and even an 8th.. long story short, make a save before doing that location and just reload it for your 7 kills.
SethGrey1 says
You’re a genius!
SaMax says
Is it possible to farm kills and such using the replay camp option?
Gage says
Yes it should be.
Gabriel says
I only have the trophy to visit the 5 settlements, and I do not skip the trophy and I have already visited them. I have started a new game and I have visited again and it still does not jump.
Gregori says
I have the same problem anyone who has found a solution?
Sayan Mitra says
Wasteland Vagabond didn’t pop for me either.
Tried:
*Older save with no settings file (Online)
*Older save with no settings file (Offline)
*Older save with settings file (Online)
*Older save with settings file (Offline)
*Different order of visiting the remaining 2, on an older save.
Still didn’t pop.
Its not even a widely popular bug,
on reddit a single post suggests even new game/new game+ didn’t help either.
Weird.
Holding back my plat due to this annoying trophy.
Sayan Mitra says
Finally the trophy for all settlements (Wasteland Vagabond) popped.
What i did:
*Backed-up old saves to cloud/stick.
*Deleted all saves+settings file from the system(ps4)
*Started a new game at ironman mode(Ultra Nightmare Difficulty to be specific, but may work on lower difficulties too)
*Finished the first mission,
then instantly went to unlock Oasis and Driftwood (Before even going to any of the story related ones),
then from their on, DROVE to the story related ones(3),
*WITHOUT FAST-TRAVELLING”
AND FINALLY
WASTELAND VAGABOND POPPED
Also did all the Eco-Pod location based trophies in the same playthrough too(Just in case).
They too popped without any issue.

Bytesize Takedown Trophy
I arrived at 153 destroyed vehicles, and I did all of them with the Phoneix, but I have not yet unlocked the trophy.
In faction statistics, report it 86 veicles of goons and 46 veicles of Shroudeds.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

I got to 218, but the trophy didn’t unlock
