*BUG WARNING – This side quest is bugged for many players prior to Patch 1.03 (the parrot would disappear, making it impossible to complete the quest). Patch 1.03 fixed this if starting from a new save. It doesn’t fix it retroactively, if you got this bug on an existing save before Patch 1.03 you’ll have to start a new save and replay the game. If you start the game after Patch 1.03 it should be fine.*

You have to complete a climbing section in one go without dying. In the end, jump into the bird and get back.

The Deserter is bugged for me. Found the friend, cut him down, but there isn’t a cannonball to pick up.

You restarting the game, I just completed that. I used a chakram yo cut him down then I see it. Some of these quests require you to interact with them at least twice before it completes but for a few not all.

There is one missable trophy and thats for completing all of the side quests.

The side quest in question is “Motherly Love”.

If you go and complete the side quest “The Trap in the Depths”, you end up killing the old woman, which is supposed to give you Motherly Love.

I’m not sure what you mean, there is no side quest in the game called “The Trap in the Depths”.

I didn’t trigger Motherly Love before fighting the creature, the rest of the side quest played out the same, but the name of the quest was changed to “The Trap in the Depths” for me after that.
It was still recorded in the menu, so I assume it’ll count for the trophy!

I see, so basically “Motherly Love” has two versions, with “The Trap in the Depths” being an alternate version of that quest and they cancel out each other (same quest, just different name).

If you could confirm that it does unlock the trophy having done “The Trap in the Depths” that’d be great 🙂
We had done the Motherly Love version and that one is confirmed to give the trophy.

Can confirm it counted towards the trophy for competing all side quests!
