Prince of Persia The Lost Crown All Sand Jar Locations

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown contains 30 Sand Jar Locations (also known as “Sand Vials”). Finding all Sand Jars is needed for the Written in the Sand & Charitable Soul trophy & achievement.

You need to find all 30 Sand Jar’s as part of the Prophecy of Mount Qaf side quest. You can find this quest after the first Main Quest “Lost in Mount Qaf”. See the pictures below on where to find that quest.

Prophecy of Mount Qaf Side Quest – Starting Location

Destroy the Sand Jar to start the quest.

For most Sand Jars you need abilities that you unlock during the story. So it is recommended to play through the story first. None of the Sand Jars is missable and you can collect all Sand Jars after the story.

Destroy this little wall by melting it

Follow the path and use the Dimensional Claw (Unlocked during the fourth Main Quest: The Path to the Sands Prison) to get past the gate.

Throw the Dimensional Claw into the air and jump off the wall, then follow the path.

Throw the Dimensional Claw through the gate and follow the path.

Use the sand stream to get up to this wall and destroy it, then follow the path.

Throw the Dimensional Claw at this specific angle:

Now jump off the stone serpent that gets triggered while you are in the air.

After the jump above, do a second jump mid-air, make a copy of yourself with Shadow of the Simurgh. Then let yourself drop down to activate another stone serpent. Now immediately activate your copy and do a double jump from the stone serpent to get on the path above you where the sand jar is.

Finish Prophecy of Mount Qaf Side Quest

After collecting all 30 Sand Jars go back to where the quest started to return the jars. This will finish the “Prophecy of Mount Qaf” Side Quest and completes the prophecy fresco. After this you earn Written in the Sand.
