Prey Gathering Echoes Walkthrough (Crew Quarters All Voice Samples of Danielle Sho)

This Prey Gathering Echoes Walkthrough shows the locations of all Danielle Sho Voice Samples in the Crew Quarters, without the use of Human Abilities or Typhon Powers.

Gathering Echoes: The fabrication plan to my Aiming Key is in Deep Storage. Danielle Sho ran the place and sealed the door with a biometric lock keyed to her voice. I’ll have to look around for a way in.

Objectives:

• Find voice samples (Crew Quarters)
• Search the area around the voice lock for clues
• Search Danielle Sho’s crew cabin for samples of her voice

Gathering Echoes Walkthrough

When you first reach the voice lock there’s a dead body in front of it with a TransCribe Collectible. Pick up the TransCribe and the waypoint marker will point you to the Crew Quarters.

The Crew Quarters is where the tricky part starts. It’s recommended that you clear out all the enemies first. You must find several TransCribes that contain samples of Danielle Sho’s voice. The video walkthrough below shows them all, or see the screenshots for their locations. You can also download a map of the area from the security station in the foyer to find your way around more easily.

There are more voice samples than you need! Even if you’re on your No Needles playthrough you can get enough voice samples.

Voice Sample #1: Recreation Center

Upstairs in the Recreation Center. Make sure you pick up the keycard to Abigail Foy’s cabin on the same table.

Voice Sample #2: The Yellow Tulip

In the yellow tulip bar there’s a hatch that can be opened. Behind it is a control panel to boot up the power. Do so and the workstation in Yellow Tulip will become accessible. Play Danielle’s Song from the workstation and listen for 65 seconds.

Voice Sample #3: Theater

Under one of the seats in the second theater room.

Voice Sample #4: Looted from Emma Beatty’s body

Go to the security station computer in the foyer. Access the Crew list and mark Emma Beatty. She is walking around in the Gym (under mind control, so she’s hostile). You get the code for the Gym from the same computer by reading the emails. A marker will appear to point you in Emma’s direction. She’s walking around a little bit but always in the Gym.

Voice Sample #5: Will Mitchell’s Cabin

Go to the kitchen and talk to the cook Will Mitchell. He is marked as an optional side objective. He gives you a keycard to his cabin where another voice sample can be found.

Voice Sample #6: Danielle Sho’s Cabin

This is marked as the main objective. Download the file from Danielle’s computer in her room.

Voice Sample #7: Danielle Sho’s Cabin [Optional, requires Repair II ability]

There’s another transcribe on the floor of Danielle’s cabin, but it requires the Repair II ability. If you’re playing without skills then skip this one, it’s not needed. Otherwise feel free to pick it up as it earns you 20% voice sample completion.

Voice Sample #8: Abigail Foy’s Cabin

Directly across the hall from Danielle’s cabin you can find Abigail’s room. You get the keycard from the Recreation center where the first voice sample was found.

Voice Sample #9: Crew Habitation Pods

The Crew Habitation Pods are located at the end of the crew cabins hallway. Next to a corpse you can find another Transcribe with a voice sample.

Finding all of these will bring you voice sample completion to 100%. Now all you have to do is return to the voice-locked door and enter Deep Storage. And with that the Gathering Echoes mission in Prey is complete!
