Pokemon Sword & Shield Yamask / Galarian Yamask Location

November 22, 2019 by PowerPyx 2 Comments

Galar Dex: #327 Yamask / Galarian Yamask
Abilities: Wandering Spirit (1) | Wandering Spirit (2) | Wandering Spirit (H)
Type: Ground / Ghost
EXP Group: MediumFast
Egg Group: Mineral / Amorphous
Hatch Cycles: 25
Height: 00.50 m, Weight: 001.5 kg, Color: Black
Evolution: Yamask (Galarian) > Runerigus (Yamask takes 49+ damage in a fight, then you must walk under a large stone arch in the Dusty Bowl area)  / Yamask (Non-Galarian) > Cofagrigus (Level 34)
Characteristics: A clay slab with cursed engravings took possession of a Yamask. The slab is said to be absorbing the Yamask’s dark power.

Galarian Yamask Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield (evolves into Runerigus): You can find Galarian Yamask in the following locations:

  • Route 6
    • OVERWORLD – All Weather (Lv. 29-33) – 35% Spawn Chance

Non-Galarian Yamask Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield (evolves into Cofagrigus): You can find the old / normal Yamask in the following locations:

  • First you must catch a Galarian Yamask on Route 6 (see above). Once you have this, head to the Stadium in Ballonlea (Fairy Gym). In the entrace hall of the Gym on the left side is a girl in an Eevee costume. Trade her your Galarian Yamask and she’ll give you the non-galarian Yamask in return. Now all you have to do is to level up that Non-Galarian version to level 34 to evolve it. Remember which one is the non-galarian, give it a custom name to make this easier to see right away.

Yamask Stats:

  • HP: 38
  • Attack: 55
  • Defense: 85
  • Special Attack: 30
  • Special Defense: 65
  • Speed: 30
  • Total Combat Points: 303

I think I accidentally released my normal Yamask. Any way to acquire one?

If you see this…I can try breeding one and giving it to you via trade if you have Nintendo Online. You can just have it if you want it.
