Pokemon Sword & Shield Sizzlipede Location

November 16, 2019 by PowerPyx 5 Comments

Galar Dex: #159 Sizzlipede
Abilities: Flash Fire (1) | White Smoke (2) | Flame Body (H)
Type: Fire / Bug
EXP Group: MediumFast
Egg Group: Bug
Hatch Cycles: 20
Height: 00.70 m, Weight: 001.0 kg, Color: Red
Evolution: Sizzlipede > Centiskorch (Level 28)
Characteristics: It stores flammable gas in its body and uses it to generate heat. The yellow sections on its belly get particularly hot. It wraps prey up with its heated body, cooking them in its coils. Once they’re well-done, it will voraciously nibble them down to the last morsel.

Sizzlipede Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Sizzlipede in the following locations:

  • Route 3
    • NON-OVERWORLD – All Weather (Lv. 8-13) – 01% (ULTRA RARE)
  • Can also be caught during third gym challenge (fire type) in Motostoke. The challenge requires you to catch or defeat some Pokemon in the arena’s grass. If you defeat it by accident, quickly close the game before it saves and reload the save to get another try (because it’s an ultra rare in the open world, it’s better you catch it during the gym challenge).

Sizzlipede Stats:

  • HP: 50
  • Attack: 65
  • Defense: 45
  • Special Attack: 50
  • Special Defense: 50
  • Speed: 45
  • Total Combat Points: 305

Another tip to finding Sizzlipede in Route 3. Catch the Vulpix/Growlithe with the Flash Fire ability in the same route and have it in your party.

Their Flash Fire ability increase Non-Overworld fire pokémon presence by 50%.

I went back to bring my Nintetails and my first Non-Overworld pokémon was Sizzlipede.

You can also get Sizzlipede by breeding Centiskorch and Ditto.
