The Reaper Cloth in Pokemon Sword & Shield is used to evolve Dusclops to Dusknoir. This guide shows where to find the Reaper Cloth Location in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Reaper Cloth Location #1:
You find “Reaper Cloth” by doing a side quest for a little girl named Paula in Hammerlocke.
- From the Pokemon Center in the middle of Hammerlocke head right and go up the first set of stairs. Upstairs you find a little girl standing in the corner. That’s Paula and she gives you an Old Letter to deliver to Frank.
- Head to Ballonlea (town where 5th Pokemon Gym is). If you haven’t been there yet, the story will take you there automatically when you must head to the 5th gym. Enter the first house to the left of the Ballonlea Pokemon Center and talk to the old man inside. That’s Frank, the guy you need to deliver the letter to. He even gives you a Choice Scarf as a reward, but that’s not the key item we are after.
- Return back to Hammerlocke. In the same space where the girl was standing, spam the A-button to find the invisible item Reaper Cloth on the floor. The item is completely invisible but it’s exactly in the spot where the girl stood before (turns out she was a ghost from the past and you helped lay her souls to rest by delivering her letter).
Reaper Cloth Location #2:
You can simply buy a Reaper Cloth from the Pokemon Center in the middle of Hammerlocke. Talk to the girl next to the Pokemart counter, she sells Reaper Cloth for 10BP.
Reaper Cloth Usage:
The only use of Reaper Cloth is to evolve Dusclops to Dusknoir. You must give Dusclops this item to trigger the evolution. It’s one of the more secret evolutions in the game.
That’s all there is to finding the secret Reaper Cloth in Pokemon Sword and Shield, enjoy!
