Pokemon Sword & Shield Galarica Cuff Location

June 24, 2020 by PowerPyx 3 Comments

The Galarica Cuff in Pokemon Sword & Shield is used to evolve Galarian Slowpoke to Galarian Slowbro. This guide shows where to find the Galarica Cuff Location in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Galarica Cuff Location:

  • This item is exclusive to the Isle of Armor Expansion. Fast travel to the Armor Station (Train Station) on Isle of Armor. When the loading screen is done, turn to the right to see a beach. Walk down the right side of the beach to spot an island in the distance (circled red in screenshot below). Use your waterbike to get to that island, it’s in the Workout Sea. On there you find a girl. Give her 8 Galarcia Twigs and she will give you the Galarcia Cuff in return. Galarcia Twigs are sparkling item pickups randomly found underneath trees everywhere on the Isle of Armor. Just drive around the main island and check under all trees. If you don’t find 8 in one go, then wait for them to respawn (check back after 24 hours or so). Again, these Twigs are random so just remember to check sparkling items under all trees.

Galarica Cuff Usage:

The only use of Galarica Cuff is to evolve Slowpoke (Galarian) to Slowbro (Galarian). You must equip Slowpoke with this item and then it will evolve right away. It’s one of the more hidden evolutions in the game.

That’s all there is to finding the secret Galarica Cuff in Pokemon Sword and Shield, enjoy!

What’s the point of these items when we have, since gen 4, had Pokemon that evolved only if another Pokemon is in the party..? The dex entry for Galatians Slowbro and Slowking explicitly mention their Shellders and yet we use a cuff and a wreath to evolve the Slowpokes..? What.
