Pokemon Sword & Shield has 100 TM Locations (Technical Machines). You can use them to teach your Pokemon new moves. Unlike TRs (which are one use only), you can use TMs as often as you like. They contain a certain move that can be taught to as many Pokemon as you like. However, be aware that not every Pokemon can learn every move in the game.
You can select the TM from your bag. Then it shows which of your Pokemon can learn that particular move.
None of the TM Locations are missable. You can still get all of them after the story. Some are given to you automatically during the story and as rewards, others are found in orange Pokeballs on the floor along Routes, and some are purchased from Pokemarts (inside some Pokemon Centers).
