Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Compatible Pokemon to Import through Home

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is home to 400 Pokemon indigenous to the Paldea Region, however there are more Pokemon that are able to make their way over to the Paldea Region through the use of Pokemon Home. If you have caught any of the Pokemon in the list below in previous titles you can transfer them through the use of Pokemon Home.

Important: The Import Functionality will not be available until Pokemon Home updates in Spring 2023.

How to Transfer Pokemon through Pokemon Home

First you will need to download Pokemon Home from the Nintendo Switch eShop Store:
Start up Pokemon Home:
You will be required at this point to sign up for the Pokemon Home Cloud storage which is a fee that gets paid annually.
Once you have your account set up you will be asked if you want to view your Pokemon or your Pokemon Home Pokedex, select Pokemon:
Once you have selected Pokemon choose which of your Pokemon games you would like to load up in Pokemon Home:
Once you loaded up your desired game you can move Pokemon between the PC in that Pokemon game with Pokemon Home:
Transfer pokemon out of your previous games that you want to bring with you on your adventure and then load up Scarlet/Violet and move those pokemon into your Pokemon Scarlet/Violet PCs.
