Pokemon Arceus Noble Lilligant Boss Guide: Lady of the Ridge

February 4, 2022 by imbroken963 Leave a Comment

Lilligant ‘Lady of the Ridge’ is a Noble Boss Battle in Pokemon Legends Arceus. The Space-Time Distortion around Mt. Coronet has sent a group of Pokemon known as Noble Pokemon into a frenzy. Throughout the Story you will have to fight against each of these Pokemon and remove them from their frenzy for their Wardens. These battles are a little different from usual Pokemon battles through Hisui, the Pokemon will battle yours and then will try attacking you as a trainer. You will need to evade the Pokémon’s attacks.

All of the Noble Pokemon you fight will be story-related.

Noble Pokemon: ‘Lady of the Ridge’ Lilligant (Level 30)

Lilligant is the second Noble Pokemon you will come across and is the Hisuian evolution for Petilil in the Hisui Region and is Grass / Fighting type.

Location of Noble Lilligant

Noble Lilligant is the Noble Pokemon of the Crimson Mirelands.

Lilligant’s Weaknesses and Strengths

Lilligant has a double weakness. This double Weakness will make it take 4x damage when you use a move of the following type:

  • Flying

Lilligant’s Weaknesses will make it receive 2x damage when you use the following move types:

  • Poison
  • Fire
  • Psychic
  • Ice
  • Fairy

Lilligant’s Defensive resistances will make it receive 1/2 damage from the following move types:

  • Ground
  • Rock
  • Water
  • Grass
  • Electric
  • Dark

Lilligant’s Offensive strengths will make it do 2x damage against your Pokemon if they are the following types:

  • Normal
  • Ground
  • Rock
  • Steel
  • Water
  • Ice
  • Dark

Lilligant’s Offensive Weakness will see it do 1/2 damage to the following Pokemon types:

  • Flying
  • Bug
  • Poison

Stage 1 of the fight

The fight against Lilligant will start immediately with Lilligant attacking you. You will have to dodge her attacks while throwing Marsh Balms at her. Use those to lower her Frenzy Bar until she is stunned and you get a notification to send out a Pokemon to battle with Lilligant, this will be the start of Stage 2.  The following are Lilligant’s tells and attacks and how to avoid them:

Lilligant will raise her arms above her head as she jumps in the air with 2 yellow music notes coming from her means she is about to jump to where you are standing and do a downward kick creating a small shockwave. Simply wait until she leaps up in the air after her pose and start rolling out of the way. You have minor invincibility frames when rolling to not take damage.

Lilligant will raise her arms above her head as she spins around with 2 green music notes coming from her followed by a bow means she is going to jump in the air and kick downward to where you are standing creating a small shockwave around where she lands, then a moment later she will spin and send out another shockwave that will release and extend to the entire hilltop and a moment later another one of these shockwaves as she spins. Wait until she jumps toward you and roll out of the way of the smaller shockwave. When the larger shockwaves send out you will need to run directly into them and roll through the actual shockwave to utilize the invincibility from the roll.

Lilligant will lean back with her arms high to her sides  with 6 red music notes (2 at a time) coming from her followed by a jump, a spin and then another small jump means she is about to jump to where you are creating a small shockwave followed by a small pause leading to another hilltop covering shockwave, this will lead to another small pause then a repeat of the same jumping kick followed by the small shockwave. Avoid these the same way by evading the jump kick and giving yourself space between you and her to be able to roll through her shockwave and then be ready to dodge another kick.

Lilligant will jump up and down in somewhat of a fit with a bunch of music notes of varying colors coming from her followed by a bow means she is about to do a series of 4 jump kicks with smaller shockwaves all one after another. This one isn’t too hard to evade as long as you continue to roll around the hilltop and not stay in one place too long. After the final kick she will stun and land on the floor dizzy.

Stage 2 of the fight

After Lilligant uses her temper tantrum type of attack she will fall on the ground Dizzy. This is where you will have the option if you want to extend Stage 1 of the fight and continue throwing Marsh Balms at her or send out a Pokemon to battle with the Lilligant. If you choose to battle her simply choose whatever Pokemon is most effective against her and deplete her health gauge to start Stage 3.

Stage 3 of the fight

Stage 3 will play out exactly the same as Stage 1 until Lilligant is down to almost no Frenzy Bar.

After the fight

Once you have depleted the Frenzy Bar of Lilligant it will run away and you will be free to continue the story mission.
