Kleavor ‘Lord of the Woods’ is a Noble Boss Battle in Pokemon Legends Arceus. In Pokemon Arceus the Space-Time Distortion around Mt. Coronet has sent a group of Pokemon known as Noble Pokemon into a frenzy. Throughout the Story you will have to fight against each of these pokemon and remove them from their frenzy for their Wardens. These battles are a little different from usual Pokemon battles through Hisui, the Pokemon will battle yours and then will try attacking you as a trainer. You will need to evade the Pokémon’s attacks.
All of the Noble Pokemon you fight will be story-related.
Noble Pokemon: ‘Lord of the Woods’ Kleavor (Level 18)
Kleavor is the first Noble Pokemon you will come across and is the evolution for Scyther in the Hisui Region and is a Bug / Rock type.
Kleavors Weaknesses and Strengths
Kleavor’s Weaknesses will make it receive 2x damage when you use the following move types (recommended to use these):
- Rock
- Steel
- Water
Kleavor’s Defensive resistances will make it receive 1/2 damage from the following move types (avoid using these):
- Normal
- Poison
Kleavor’s Offensive strengths will make it do 2x damage against your Pokemon if they are the following types (avoid using these):
- Flying
- Bug
- Fire
- Grass
- Psychic
- Ice
- Dark
Stage 1 of the fight
The first portion of the fight will require you to take out Kleavor’s healthbar using one of your Pokemon in a normal style battle. Use his weaknesses and strengths listed above to select which Pokemon to use to make this process as quick and easy as possible. Once his healthbar has depleted it is time to start Stage 2.
Stage 2 of the fight
You will get a notification on screen that Kleavor has let his guard down. Select your Forest Balms and start throwing them at the Kleavor using 
. Keep an eye out though as Kleavor is going to start attacking you. The window to throw Forest Balms at Kleavor isn’t infinite so get him as low as you can before you are required to battle him again. The following are Kleavor’s tells and attacks and how to avoid them:
When Kleavor lifts its right arm above its head it is going to dash straight forward at you. Simply roll out of its way using 
and let it run into a wall of the arena or the tree it is near to stun it for a moment.
When Kleavor puts his right arm way back behind it and you see whirlwinds starting to form along the ground roll out of the circle to avoid being hit by its whirlwind.
Stage 3 of the fight
After a short time of evading Kleavor’s attacks and throwing Forest Balms at him you will be notified on screen that you need to send in a Pokemon for battle. Simply send out a Pokemon and repeat stage 2 of the fight.
Stage 4 of the fight
After completely draining Kleavor’s health again you will have the opportunity to throw Forest Balms at him again. It shouldn’t take you any more than 2 cycles to defeat Kleavor but if it does it rotates between the Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the fight.
After the fight
Once you have depleted the Frenzy Bar of Kleavor it will run away and you will be free to continue the story mission.
