Pokemon Arceus Noble Electrode Boss Guide: Lord of the Hollow

February 4, 2022 by imbroken963 Leave a Comment

Electrode ‘Lord of the Hollow’ is a Noble Boss Battle in Pokemon Legends Arceus. The Space-Time Distortion around Mt. Coronet has sent a group of Pokemon known as Noble Pokemon into a frenzy. Throughout the Story you will have to fight against each of these Pokemon and remove them from their frenzy for their Wardens. These battles are a little different from usual Pokemon battles through Hisui, the Pokemon will battle yours and then will try attacking you as a trainer. You will need to evade the Pokémon’s attacks.

All of the Noble Pokemon you fight will be story-related.

Noble Pokemon: ‘Lord of the Hollow’ Electrode (Level 46)

Hisuian Electrode is the fourth Noble Pokemon you will come across and is the Hisuian evolution for Hisuian Voltorb in the Hisui Region and is Electric / Grass type.

Location of Noble Electrode

Noble Electrode is the Noble Pokemon of the Coronet Highlands.

Electrode’s Weaknesses and Strengths

Electrode’s Weaknesses will make it receive 2x damage when you use the following move types:

  • Poison
  • Bug
  • Fire
  • Ice

Electrode’s Defensive resistances will make it receive 1/2 damage from the following move types:

  • Steel
  • Water
  • Grass

Electrode’s Defensive resistances will make it receive 1/4 damage from the following move type:

  • Electric

Electrode’s Offensive strengths will make it do 2x against your Pokemon if they are the following types:

  • Flying
  • Ground
  • Rock
  • Water

Electrode’s Offensive Weakness will see it do 1/2 damage to the following Pokemon types:

  • Grass
  • Dragon

Stage 1 of the fight

The fight against Electrode will start with it spawning an electric orb that will chase you around the battlefield. While avoiding the electrical ball of energy and dodging Electrode’s attacks you will need to throw Mountain Balms at it. Use those to lower Electrode’s Frenzy Bar until it tells you to send out a Pokemon to start Stage 2. The following are Electrode’s tells and attacks and how to avoid them:

Electrode will start shaking in place and this means it will start summoning Hisuian Voltorb to fall from the sky all over the arena. The Hisuian Voltorb will explode shortly after hitting the ground. Stay away from Electrode to not get shocked while avoiding all the Voltorb that are coming up through the ground.

Electrode will lean back slightly after it stops shaking and it will create another orb of electricity to chase you around and jump to another spot in the arena. Simply continue running and make sure the orb is behind you and steer clear of where the Electrode is going to land.

Electrode will jump really high into the air and try to jump on you and start chasing you around the arena with an electric field around Electrode and a small surrounding area. Stay out of this field as it has electricity pulsing on the ground. Electrode will stop chasing you and fill the entire electrical field with lightning so if you are in the forcefield make sure you are out as fast as possible.

Stage 2 of the fight

After Electrode electrocutes the forcefield it will be stunned and you will be told to send in a Pokemon to battle Electrode. Use a Pokemon Electrode is weak to in order to beat it quick and easy. Once defeated its time to move on to Stage 3.

Stage 3 of the fight

Once defeated in battle you will have a small window to throw as many Mountain Balms at Electrode as possible before it starts to repeat the the actions in Step 1. Try to defeat Electrode before it explodes in the electrical field to end the fight early, if not head to Stage 4 of the fight.

Stage 4 of the fight

Stage 4 will see you battling Electrode again with one of your Pokemon. Deplete its health bar to continue on to Stage 5.

Stage 5 of the fight

Once defeated in battle again you will have another small window to throw Mountain Balms at Electrode before it starts the whole process in Stage 1 all over again. Continue the same steps until Electrode’s Frenzy Bar is depleted and it runs away.

After the fight

Once you have depleted the Frenzy Bar of Electrode it will run away and you will be free to continue the story mission.
