Introduction
Welcome to the Outriders Trophy Guide! This game can be played with 1-3 players. It requires a constant internet connection. However, all trophies can be done solo by yourself. It doesn’t matter what class you pick. Nothing is missable, there are no difficulty-related trophies, you can play on the lowest world-tier. There is one type of collectible called “Journal Pages” but most of these are automatic from story and side quests and you don’t need all of them. Just pick up the ones you find by yourself and you’ll get more than enough as automatic rewards. There’s one semi-grindy trophy called “Outrider, First Class” which requires you to get all Accolades (Challenges) for your chosen class. This requires thousands of kills with specific skills but they can be farmed after you’re done with everything else. All main- and side quests are replayable and you can return everywhere after the story.
Automatically unlocking Trophies from Demo & Automatically unlocking Trophies between PS4/PS5 Versions
Outriders has a free demo to try out. All progress from the demo is carried over into the full game and any trophy requirements you’ve fulfilled will automatically unlock when you log into the full game for the first time. The way this works is that there’s an in-game accolade for each trophy. The server checks if you have the accolade and if you do it retroactively unlocks the trophies in the full game.
If you have platinumed either the PS4, or the PS5 version you can easily get a double platinum! Simply install the 2nd game version and all trophies will automatically unlock on the first login! No need to replay any of it. For example, if you platinumed the PS4 version you can download the PS5 version, log in one time, and all trophies instantly unlock for you. Or you can platinum the PS5 version first, then download the PS4 version and login to instantly have the PS4 platinum.
Step 1: Story
Focus on the story first. It doesn’t matter which class you pick, this doesn’t impact any trophies. Along the way you can already do some Side Quests if you like, or simply do them after the story. There’s still free-roam after the story, you can return everywhere and replay everything, nothing is missable.
There are only a few things to keep in mind:
- Pick up whatever Journal Pages you find. They are in plain sight on the main story path. Not all of them are needed and it’s okay if you miss the majority of them. You only need to pick up any 50 of these yourself. 250 of them are automatic story- and side quest rewards that cannot be missed, which gives you the 300 total needed for
One for the Books. No Collectible Guide needed for these. They are blue glowing pages on the floor, here’s a picture:
- Keep 15 uncommon (green) items in your stash. They are the cheapest to upgrade for
True Potential. You should do this because in the endgame low-grade gear drops less frequently and the better gear is too expensive to upgrade.
- Sell white / green gear. Dismantle blue / purple / yellow gear because these give you unique mods for
Inventor’s Almanac (you need 125 different mods for a trophy).
- It doesn’t matter on what World Tier you play. The World Tier is basically the difficulty setting in Outriders. Higher World Tier gives better loot but also makes enemies more difficult. Playing at the highest unlocked World Tier is how the game is intended to be played and that’s the most fun. But for the purpose of trophies there’s no need, you can play World Tier 01 if you want the easiest difficulty. You can change the Tier any time by pressing the
Options-Button > click on World Tier. The endgame, called “Expeditions”, no longer uses the World Tiers anyway so they serve no purpose in the end.
- When you reach the maximum accolade for one of your skills, start working on another skill’s accolade. This will reduce the grind for trophy
Outrider, First Class. You need to get all accolades for one character class, which involves using the same skills hundreds of thousands of times.
Step 2: Side Quests
After the story do your remaining Side Quests. Talk to the Driver at one of your camps to open the world map. On this world map it will show all available side quests by region, including which ones you’ve already done. For Squaretasking you must do all 55 Side Quests. Keep working on Skill Accolades along the way.
See » Outriders All Side Quest Locations.
Step 3: Expeditions & Character Class Accolades
After the story you unlock Expeditions. These are the endgame activity, basically the Raids in this game. You need 1000 kills in Expeditions. Along the way you should automatically reach the 300 Journal pages needed for One for the Books – you get most of them automatically from story, side quests, and a few from expeditions. You might also still have some of the crafting trophies left which can be combined with the loot you get from expeditions.
Your last trophy will be Outrider, First Class to max out all Accolades for your Character Class. Luckily you don’t need to max out all the Accolades in the game, only the ones for one of four character classes. This is the only grindy part for platinum and will take several thousand kills and a few hours of time. See that trophy for fastest grinding methods. If you worked on these during the story & side quests you should have about half of them done already.

Gravedigger’s BFF Kill 7500 enemies. |
![]() |
Self-explanatory, kill a total of 7500 enemies over the course of the game. This will happen naturally over time. You will encounter plenty of enemies while playing through the story, while doing all side quests, and playing expeditions. From the story alone you should get around 3000 kills. You will get the rest while doing all side quests and completing all Accolades for one Class.
You can keep track of this under: Accolades > Hunt > Hunter. |

Snap of the Fingers Deal a total of 1,000,000 damage. |
![]() |
This requires you to deal 1 million damage points combined across the entire game. You don’t need to deal 1 million in one attack, it adds up all your damage ever dealt by any means. One million isn’t much at all. This will be one of your first trophies and is guaranteed to unlock automatically during the story, so don’t even worry about it.
You can keep track of this under: Accolades > Combat > Damage Master (must reach Tier 3). |

![]() |
Misfortune Loves Company Kill 10 enemies with no more than 2 seconds between each kill. |
![]() |
You can do this anywhere with 10 enemies relatively close together. Ideal enemies for this are Perforo (little red melee beasts) because they die in 1-2 hits. A very easy way is to play Side Quest “Endless Dark”, which you get from the crafting vendor in Region “First City”. It gets marked automatically on the map as you advance through the story. The side quest is repeatable.
During the quest your first task is to clear out a large yard from these Perforo beasts. Put the difficulty to World Tier 01 so they die in 1-2 hits. Let 10 of them group together and then use your most powerful skills to deal area of effect damage, or perform a jumping melee attack (sprint and press This is also an accolade found under: Accolades > Combat > Go-Getter. |

Coup de Grâce Kill an enemy afflicted with at least 4 different status effects. |
![]() |
You can cause status effects with weapon mods and by using skills.
The easiest method is to slot your weapons with different status effects and also use your skills that apply status effects. First you must dismantle weapons to get their mods. Then go to the crafting vendor. You can only modify one slot per weapon, doing so will lock the other mod slot. Pick a weapon that already had 1 status effect when you found it (random) and modify its other slot with a different status effect. Put different status mods into each weapon (Vulnerable, Ash, Bleed, Burn, Freeze, Toxic, Weakness, Slow). Now shoot an enemy with one weapon to apply 2 status effects, switch to the next weapon and shoot again. This will apply 4 different status effects. Additionally, you can also use your skills & melee attack because these cause status effects too. Each character class causes different status effects. When using skills and switching between modded weapons you can easily inflict 4-6 effects on one enemy within seconds. If the enemy dies too quickly use lower damage weapons or do it against an Elite enemy that has more health. Here’s an image of the weapon mod screen that highlights the relevant “status effect” mods in red: This is also an accolade found under: Accolades > Combat > Coup de Grâce Deliverer. |

Clash of the Altered Kill 5 Elites using skills only. |
![]() |
Elites are the enemies with red skulls on the minimap. The easiest method is to beat the story first, by that point you’ll have some pretty good gear. Now put the World Tier to 1 (lowest). Press Options-Button ![]() In World Tier 1 enemies have little health and die in 1-2 hits. Equip your best attack skills and unleash them on such an Elite enemy. You find plenty of them during side quests, which are all repeatable. The important part is that you don’t damage the Elite with weapons. Only skill damage is allowed to make it count. Repeat this for 5 Elites. If your damage output isn’t enough, try equipping armor pieces that boost your Anomaly Power (=Skill Power) and put your Class Points into the bottom skill tree (Anomaly Power increase). You can also wait for your skills to recharge if one use doesn’t kill the Elite. This is also an accolade found under: Accolades > Combat > Altered Warlord. |

Hitting the Jackpot Kill 1000 enemies in Expeditions. |

Ace in the Hole Use a skill enhanced by 4 different mods. |
![]() |
For this you’ll need to use the crafting function and put 4 mods into your armor pieces that all boost the same skill. Only blue, purple, yellow gear have mod slots! Each “Tier 1” mod gives a bonus to one particular skill.
To get these mods you must dismantle blue, purple, yellow armor pieces. Their mods are then given to you permanently and can be put into any other armor. Just dismantle a lot of gear and you’ll get 4 mods for the same skill sooner or later. Each armor piece can only hold 1-2 of these mods, this means you must modify multiple armor pieces to get 4 skill mods installed. Now simply use the skill once and the trophy will pop. True Potential Use crafting to improve the rarity of 15 items. |
![]() |
Interact with the Crafting Vendor (Zahedi) at one of your camps. You will meet him automatically during the story, he has a crafting icon above his head. Select any item and click “Improve Rarity”. This costs some resources which you get from dismantling other gear.
As to not waste any rare materials you should only upgrade green (uncommon) rarity gear. These only require the most basic materials. So remember to keep at least 15 such items in your stash, then improve their rarity when you have enough materials. Upgrade the rarity of 15 items for this trophy. |

Extreme Engineering Use crafting to replace 10 item mods. |

Interact with the Crafting Vendor (Zahedi) at one of your camps. You will meet him automatically during the story, he has a crafting icon above his head. Select any item with a mod slot and click “Mod Gear”. This only works on blue (rare), purple (epic), yellow (legendary) gear because these are the only ones with mod slots. Furthermore, you must also have disassembled some other gear of these rarities to gain their replacement mods.

Inventor’s Almanac Unlock 125 unique weapon and armor mods for crafting. |
![]() |
To unlock weapon and armor mods for crafting you must disassemble blue (rare), purple (epic), legendary (yellow) gear. Those are the rarities that contain mod slots (white and green don’t have mods).
The mod that is contained in those items will be obtained upon disassembling the item. Mods come in 3 Tiers, each Tier counts as a new mod for the purpose of this trophy. Weapons have different mods than Armor pieces. However, they must be 125 different (unique) mods. So if you disassemble multiple items that have the same mod installed it will only count the first time. Always disassemble all blue, purple, yellow gear that you no longer need and don’t sell these until you have the trophy. You can keep track of your progress under: Accolades > Item Management > Mod Collector. |

For this you must have purple (epic) and/or legendary (yellow) gear in all inventory slots. That’s 8 slots total; 3 weapons and 5 armor pieces.
You can mix the rarities, so for example having 7 epic pieces and 1 legendary piece is fine. Until you have this trophy you should always keep at least 1 epic piece per category. This should happen automatically while playing through the story. If not, you will get plenty of these rarities while playing Expeditions after the story. |

One for the Books Fill in 300 journal pages. |
![]() |
There are 339 Journal Pages in Outriders (59 Characters, 89 Enemies, 44 Enoch, 81 History and Lore, 66 Miscellaneous). You can view these under ![]() 250 of these are awarded automatically just from doing the story, side quests, and a few from expeditions (150 from the story, 100 from side quests). For example, when meeting a new character, killing a new enemy type, visiting a new area you automatically get new journal entries. These automatic entries make up about 83% of the pages you need. The rest you need to pick up yourself in the world. Luckily you only need to pick up any 50 of these and not all of them. It’s okay if you miss ~30 of them. There are about 80 of these in the world but you only need 50. They are usually on the floor, have some pages circling in the air above, and are highlighted by a blue color flashing. Here’s what they look like: Always pick up these collectable pages when you see them, this should give you 50 just by picking up what’s on the main path. They are in plain sight on the main story path and very easy to see. You don’t need to really look for them, just grab which ones you run into. No need for a Collectible Guide here, you don’t need all of them anyway. After you’re done with the story, do your remaining side quests and expeditions for the rest. This will bring your total to 300 without additional searching. You can keep track of your total progress under: Accolades > Progression > Well-read. |

Outrider, First Class Complete all class-related Accolades for any class. |
![]() |
There are 4 classes in the game (Technomancer, Pyromancer, Trickster, Devastator). You can choose your class after the prologue.
You must complete ALL Accolade Tiers for ONE of the four classes. The Accolades are like Challenges and all of them require you to use your skills a certain number of times. With some skills you must kill a couple hundred enemies, with others you just need to hit the enemies or block a certain amount of damage. Each class has its own unique set of skills and so the exact requirements will be dependent on your chosen class. To see the requirements and your progress press Options-Button None of these are hard, just grindy and the most time-consuming task to platinum. There are 8 Skills per Class. The main thing to keep in mind is to switch to a new skill when one is maxed out. Also start each combat by unleashing your skills and then keep using them whenever they have recharged. During your story playthrough you should get 1-2 skills maxed out. Keep working on them while you do Side Quests and Expeditions, this should get another 2-3 skills completed. This will be your last trophy. Depending on which skills you have left after everything else is done it may be fastest to switch to World Tier 01 (easiest) and repeatedly farm the same story missions. Enemies will die in 1-2 hits on World Tier 01. So you can just blaze through the same missions over and over again to get kills quickly. Remember you can have 3 skills equipped at the same time which means you can work on 3 skills at the same time. Expect a few hours of grinding kills. Overall you will need many thousands of kills with specific skills. Grinding Method: First, go to the Class Tree, reset your skills and put all points into skill cooldowns. The shorter the cooldown the faster you can use your skills again. Then go to the crafting vendor and equip armor mods that support the skill you are farming. The best mods are the ones that reduce cooldown or increase the damage radius or give you additional uses before the cooldown. This combination will allow you to constantly be spamming skills without using any weapons, so you can farm kills much faster. Now play side quest “Endless Dark” which starts in the “First City” region (talk to the vendor at the camp there). At the first enemy encounter of this quest there are lots of small red melee enemies that die in one hit. Make sure you’re on World Tier 01. Let these enemies group up around you then unleash your skill to kill them all at once. Let the last one kill you so you can keep farming the same group over and over again (it saves your skill progress when you die). Another good farming spot is the first enemy group in the region “Canyon of the Grand Obelisk”, straight ahead of your camp there (also has lots of the small red melee monsters). This is the “boring but fast” way to do it. Alternatively, you can just keep playing the game properly and do expeditions while switching between skills but this will take 10+ hours longer than the easy grinding method. |

To view your Accolade Level press Options-Button ![]() Accolades are basically little Challenges. They are divided into 6 categories:
None of these are hard. They keep track of your progress and are just time-consuming but not difficult. Most of them go hand-in-hand with each other, for example doing kills with certain weapons and killing certain enemy types in general. It’s nothing you need to actively worry about. Level 20 isn’t all that much either. In fact, this will come automatically while working on all the other trophies. So don’t worry about this, just focus on doing all Accolades for one Class (see trophy “Outrider, First Class”) and this will come automatically along the way. |

Does it also work the other way around for a free plat, like playing the ps5 version first and then boot up the ps4 version for a free plat?
Pacman says
YES
Martin says
Yes. That works. Tried it today
Wesley says
Isnt it better to buy the PS4 version and upgrade to the PS5 version, getting the Platinum on the PS5 version. Afterwards boot up the PS4 version and also get the Platinum? Or can you buy the PS5 version and also get the PS4 version with the same disc?
PowerPyx says
Whichever way you wanna do it is fine. You can do PS5 > PS4 -or- PS4 > PS5 autopops, it works both ways.
If you buy it digitally you get both downloads in one, not sure about the disc.
EVApunk says
Any have trophies not auto pop. I didn’t get classy but I should cuz I hit 5 star on first 3 skills. And for 10 kills 2 seconds apart I have 2 times of it in accolades but no trophy. So hoping this aren’t broken then and can earn once I hit those milestones again.
The Allslayer says
If you’ve done 3 skills why would you have it? It’s for 4 skills. The 10 kills 2 seconds apart is a one time accolade if you do it once you get the accolade and the trophy. It’s showing you got 2 kills with no more than 2 seconds apart not that you’ve done 10 kills 2 times.
Paul says
Hi, The classy trophy and the 10 kills did not unlock for me either. I farmed all these in the demo. My kills started at 1/10 then 5/10 then 7/10 and went back to 1/10. Any help would be appreciated in unlocking these 2 easy trophies.
PhantomFear94 says
How did you find it, PowerPyx? No reviews out yet!
Many thanks for the guides as always!
PowerPyx says
I like the combat (I like 3rd person shooters in general, it’s my favorite genre).
At times it felt similar to Gears of War, other times felt like playing a 3rd person Serious Sam when you get swarmed by monsters and use your OP weapons and abilities. I played Technomancer which is pretty good for playing solo (can heal yourself constantly). Good mix of weapons, enemies and bosses.
Difficulty scales up nicely. I died a few times during the story, usually played on the highest available World Tier (difficulty). That’s how the game is the most fun. If you switch to World Tier 01 it’s a dull experience, but that’s not how the game is meant to be played anyway (good for farming trophies though).
The endgame seems grindy from what I’ve seen so far. You need 40,000 drop pod points (endgame currency) to unlock the final Raid. For comparison, the legendary level 45 weapons (seemingly the best available for purchase) cost 3616 points. You have to grind the same 14 Expeditions (basically Raids) over and over again at increasing Tiers (difficulties) and finish them within a time limit for more points. These expeditions are fun the first time around but after that it gets really repetitive. The whole endgame thing isn’t needed for trophies though.
My biggest gripes with it right now are:
– Server issues on launch day. With the easter weekend coming up I think it’s only gonna get worse as more people go online. They do a beta, had that exact same issue on beta launch, and still can’t figure this out. Always the same thing with these online games. I’m sure it will stabilize eventually, but really annoying when you have constant disconnects or can’t sign in at all. As I’m writing this the servers are offline (again).
– The in-game map is a mess and practically useless. It doesn’t even show where exactly you are (only marks the area where you’re at), can’t zoom in, can’t make out what’s what on the map.
– The fast travel system is from the last century. I hope they can redo the whole system in future updates. You have 2 types of fast travel – within the region and between regions. To travel between regions you must talk to a driver NPC which is only found at one camp per region. So first you must use a fast travel beacon to travel to this NPC, then find that NPC and tell him you want to fast travel to another region. Why you can’t fast travel to another region directly from fast travel points is beyond me. It adds so much unnecessary running around to go to that NPC first, lots of loading screens (1 loading to fast travel to NPC, talk to NPC, select region to travel to, 2nd loading screen, then in your target region you must interact with the fast travel beacon at the camp where you spawn to travel to the actual destination which is your 3rd loading screen, then the same procedure again to return to quest giver). For side quests you must do so much travel between regions that it gets really annoying. Absolutely horrid game design choice that will cost people lots of time. Don’t even want to imagine it on a base PS4 (I’m on PS5 so the loading screens are quite short).
Overall I’d say decent enough game for a relatively quick and easy platinum hunt. Combat great (which is most of the game), everything else kinda ‘meh’.
PhantomFear94 says
Thanks for such a comprehensive response! Playing on Series X so I can deal with load times, as long as it’s a solid shooter with fun mechanics it doesn’t need to be perfect, not much out at the moment!
PowerPyx says
I don’t have anything planned for it. Too much other stuff coming out next few months. Sorry.
BodyChipper says
I have the PS4 disc from Gamefly and it says it comes with a free PS5 upgrade. So you’re saying I should be able to play it on the PS5, plat it, then install directly on my PS4 also, apply the same endgame save file from the cloud, and get another trophy set…in theory?
BodyChipper says
Or I guess you could just delete the PS5 version when done, and reinstall just the PS4 version and not upgrade on the PS5 console alone.
PowerPyx says
Yes either way would work. Can play the PS5 version first and then install the PS4 version. No need to mess around with save games, because this is an online-only game all progress is stored on the game servers. Once you log in it automatically imports your progress and autopops all trophies 🙂
BodyChipper says
Gotcha. Thanks for confirming. Looking forward to starting play this weekend.

Hi PowerPyx,
Have you got a small guide for the easiest way to get “Coup de Grace” whilst playing solo?
Like character/weapon build to apply 4 or more status effects on an enemy.
Would really appreciate it.
PowerPyx says
I’ve added additional details and a screenshot to that trophy now. Just modding 2 weapons with 2 status effects each and using skills will do the trick solo 🙂
PhantomFear94 says
Quick question -I know that you said you get more rare loot the higher you play, but will you still get a fair amount playing at World Tier 1?
PowerPyx says
Green rarity still drops when you play World Tier 01 at Level 30. I’d say with this setup the ratio of green drops is about 25% / blue is 50% / purple is 25%. At higher world tiers I almost never see green and in expeditions I’ve never gotten anything below blue. If you forget to save 15 green gear you’d have to farm loot for an hour or two to get enough pieces in the endgame.
PhantomFear94 says
Thanks. For now, I’m going to play at my highest world tier until I start getting better gear and then just stay at that tier.
Final question – I only have 1% tracking towards “Snap of the Fingers”, yet I have 300+ kills and am on the mission “Dedication”…should I be concerned? I know you say its one of the first achievements/trophies you should unlock!
Minorcas13 says
“The Burdens We Bear” and “Hand of Death” are both bugged for me, I finished the entire questline even got tge accolades for them aswell. Also the trophy for completing the first side quest never popped but the 25 SQ’s did.
PowerPyx says
Thanks for reporting. I think these are isolated (and very unlucky) bugs, possibly due to the ongoing server issues over the past days. Personally, all trophies popped fine for me on PS5 & PS4.
The only idea I have is to try disconnecting your Square Enix profile from your PSN profile. I believe this would reset your game progress – but I haven’t personally tried this so can’t say with certainty. The downside is that you’d have to start over from scratch and redo everything (on the bright side, it’s a pretty quick game and you can speedrun the story in 5-6h at World Tier 01). The only alternative is to wait and hope for a patch to fix trophies retroactively, but that might never come and they have bigger fixes on their to-do list for now.
If anyone else here sees this and has trophy bugs please let me know which ones bugged out so we can narrow down if it’s specific trophies or completely random. Also if anyone wants to try unlinking their Square Enix profile, would be good to hear if it worked.
RedcapK7 says
Any tip for farming class ability kills post-game? I always used the same 3.
PowerPyx says
The farming method is already explained under the relevant trophy “Outrider, First Class” (also noted in Roadmap Step 3).
symphony says
How do more people have the Outriders, First Class achievement than the Classy achievement? Doesn’t First Class require you to max every accolade? Did I understand it wrong?
PowerPyx says
You only max every accolade of a single class (for 1 of the 4 character classes). Not the combat / progression accolades etc.
Only the ones tied to your class-specific skills.
It’s entirely possible to get this before Accolade Level 20 or the other way around.
Voidbox says
I am stuck right now I have 54 sidecars done but there are no more side quests is there a secret one that I am missing?
PowerPyx says
Probably missing one. See Side Quests Guide (also linked in Roadmap & under Side Quests trophy).

Clash of the altered trophy seems bugged to me. Can’t get it to progress, killed moren than a dozen elites but still stuck at 0/5…

Have problem with trophy Misfortune Loves Company did’t pop after many attempts, I have alredy done it in allocates …. anybody…
Hyp says
Been Everywhere, Done It All .. That one is A LOT harder than you say :D after doing everything else, I’m only level 18
PowerPyx says
What World Tier were you playing at? Did you play solo or co-op (don’t think it makes any difference but I was playing solo).
I finished the story at Level 27 with 95% XP filled to Level 28. Then got the remaining 2 levels during side quests. I don’t see how you can only end up at Level 18 after doing everything in the game. Everyone I’ve talked to finished the story at Level 25-30, depending on how many side stuff they did along the way and whether they had grinded out the demo or not. Because I had reached max level in the demo I was Level 27 by the end of the story (without touching any side quests). Someone who hasn’t reached max level in the demo should end up at level 25 or 26 at the end of the story without touching a single side quest.
Regardless, grinding Expeditions to Tier 15 should give you whatever XP you have left pretty quickly and they are fun to do.
Smash41 says
I agree, I did all the main and side missions and only ended up on level 17.
Sam-S-Enix says
No, you didn’t… I’m %25 in the story and I’m already level 22…
Splancnocranio says
Hitting the jackpot is glitched for me, it’s stuck at 99% on the ps5 version, but i managed to unlock it on the ps4.
bgp109 says
This has happened to me too, absolutely sucks cause I’m close to the platinum.
Splancnocranio says
I know, it’s the only trophy that i’m missing on the ps5 version … By the way, I contacted Square’s customer service and this is their response :

I only have 282 journals after all main missions and side quests, even though I’ve been pretty vigilant in picking up any pages I’ve seen. Will I get more than 18 for expositions?
PhantomFear94 says
Expeditions*
PowerPyx says
The way I did it personally:
– Played story (didn’t touch any side quests, didn’t touch any journals), only got the automatic unlocks
– Played side quests (didn’t touch any journals), only got the automatic unlocks
– Played a handful of expeditions to check out how they work, I saw some journals come from them but can’t have been many
– Replayed about two thirds of the regions and searched them for their journals, got to 300. I didn’t pick up any from side quest areas and didn’t have to check all regions to get to 300.
I’d say leave it until you’re done with all other trophies. Then just replay the main maps and search them carefully, can rush through pretty quickly at World Tier 01.
PhantomFear94 says
Got the 1K now, thanks. Terrific roadmap generally speaking. Didn’t realise that there should be a journal counter in the bottom left corner of your map when interacting with fast travel flags. It’s currently bugged, so it goes away almost immediately, but if you look closely you’ll see “X/Y” on that map. Makes it a lot easier.
The only constructive thing I’d say is Accolade Level 20 isn’t automatic. You MAY get it en route, but you’d have to be consciously working on them whilst playing IMO. I played between World Tiers 1 – 7 and did all side missions, main missions and around 4-6 expeditions, generally mixing up weapons intentionally so I would get through accolades quicker. Once I had finished “Outrider, First Class” I was still only early Level 19 and had to do 10 more random accolades. It took me <1 hour, as I have 8-10 very close to the next tier by method of me mixing things up, but it isn't automatic.
Monkey-Hands says
i have 4 trophies so far that didn’t pop:
urgent task (6 already)
misfortune loves company (accolade completed)
spoils of war (2 legendary weapons on me)
descent to fury (story trophy)
this is beyond frustrating. 🙁
PhantomFear94 says
Descent to Fury was late popping for me, had to hard reset (XSX) and it popped when I got to the main menu screen.
For spoils of war, make sure you equip. You have to specificlaly equip the weapon, not just own it I think.
For misfortune loves company just keep doing it during your accolade grind, even if you have the accolade, I’m sure completing the action over and over will eventually budget it.
Monkey-Hands says
i already finished the campaign but descent to fury never popped.
i hope there will be a fix for the other trophies. ?
Meister Lad says
Gravedigger’s BFF stuck on 99%. 8900 enemy kills on the accolade screen. Broken, anyone know a fix/work around?
Meister Lad says
Gravedigger’s BFF glitched. I have 7499/7500 on the trophy counter. 9124 on the accolade counter. No response from PCF or Square Enix. Anybody know a work around?
BodyChipper says
I’ve gotta say, this was a fun little platinum. It takes a while to really get into the game once you get to the point that you can free travel and get out of tutorial mode. I don’t think that this plat took me more than 25-30 hours though at most playing at lower levels and actively working towards accolades the whole time. Beyond running about 10 expeditions post game, I only had to do about 2 hours of actual skill/kill grinding. No issues and no glitches playing on the PS5 upgrade version. Swap to PS4 added all trophies instantly for that version as well.
Thanks for the guide.
TheDeathRiderX says

If i have physical copy outriders ps5, how to install ps4 version to get second platinum? Thanks!

I think you are out of luck. Better to buy the PS4 versions if there is a free PS5 upgrade. Should also be a little bit cheaper.
