The ultimate goal in No Man’s Sky is to reach the center of the galaxy.
Early in the game you will encounter a Space Anomaly. It looks like a smaller version of a space station with a spinning machine around it. They pop up randomly as you fly through space. Inside is an Alien. Talk to it and you will be presented with 3 paths: Go for the center (follow black holes), go for atlas (follow atlas stations for money), explore as you like.

The obvious choice here is to take the path to the center. This will automatically locate a black hole on your map. Now comes the actual strategy:
- Upgrade your Hyperdrive (click the link for full tutorial). This will let you warp 300 LY instead of 100! Even more is possible with a second upgrade.
- Use a Black Hole. They will teleport you 2000 light years closer to the center. By far the quickest way to travel.
- Warp to Atlas Interface, pick up the two Warp Cells and the Atlas Stone. Every Atlas Interface has two free warp cells! So you don’t have to craft them.
- Repeat Steps 2 & 3. Pick up the two warp cells from atlas interface, use them to get to black hole, repeat.
Later when you have the Atlaspass V3 you can find fuel resources (Suspension Fluid, Electron Vapour, Antimatter, Warp Cells) in the backroom of space stations. The V3 pass is only available to players much further into the game. Once you have it this gives basically unlimited warp cells. You would buy zinc and heridium from the station, open the locked canisters in the backroom for fuel ingredients and craft them together into a warp cell (plutonium is also found in the backroom, thamium you must get yourself by shooting a few asteroids).
One more general advice: keep stacks of Plutonim, Heridium, Zinc, Thamium in your inventory. They are needed to craft fuel related items.

Side note: if you want to get to the center really really quick, then play with version 1.00 of the game (no patches). You will start only 40,000 lightyears away from the center (with patch installed you start 175,000 lightyears away). Also, you don’t need the Atlaspass V3 in the unpatched version to get unlimited fuel resources.

from where do you get atlas pass v1,v2,v3
Invertex says
The recipe is a random chance from the terminal at Operations Centers on planets. If you get the V3 card, you don’t need the V2 card, but you will still need the V1 card.
