The Defiant Honor DLC of Nioh has 3 new Hot Springs and 25 Kodama Locations.
Finding all Hot Springs unlocks the trophy “Cleanliness is Next to Godliness” and finding all Kodama unlocks the “Battlefield Guide” trophy.

Hot Springs
There are 3 hot springs. They are all behind ‘Nurikabe’ enemies, which are the living stone walls with two eyes. You can make these enemies disappear by doing a gesture (red, blue, yellow) or by killing them.
The Siege of Osaka (Winter): The Nurikabe is found at the very end of the mission. After passing the battlefields with fire archers you come to a wooden area with a shrine and some broken buildings. After the first enemy encounter check the houses on the right side of the path, inside one of them is a Nurikabe.
Dance of the Yokai: About halfway through the mission you come to an area with a Raven Tengu enemy (the humanoid raven enemy with a scepter in the hand). It’s the only Raven Tengu of this mission. When you encounter it (cannot be missed) there’s a Nurikabe in the same area and behind it is the hot spring.
Scion of Virtue: This Nurikabe is pretty far into the mission. Eventually, you’ll have to drop down a ladder into a cave. As you go through the cave there’s a Nurikabe in a side room to the left. It’s just before the final boss fight. This leads to the third and last hot spring location and unlocks the Cleanliness is Next to Godliness trophy.
Kodama Locations
There are 25 Kodama Locations in the Defiant Honor expansion.
- The Siege of Osaka (Winter) = 10 Kodama
- Dance of the Yokai = 9 Kodama
- Scion of Virtue = 6 Kodama
