The Scented Letter is the 50th side mission in Nioh 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of The Scented Letter Side Quest.
The Scented Letter is unlocked when you complete Cherry Blossom Viewing in Daigo Main Mission.
Recommended Level: 105
Region: DREAM
Requirement: Finish Cherry Blossom Viewing in Daigo, Speak with Azai Negamasa IN THE INTERIM, Speak with Takenaka Hanbei IN THE INTERIM (simply do all available sub missions, then click the gray icon in bottom left of world map to visit Interim and exhaust all dialogues options with everyone there).
Reward: Imakomei’s Waistguard, Imakomei’s Gauntlets, Imakomei’s Greaves, Highest Quality Wood x3
Follow the fox
Simply walk from one area to the next one while killing all the Yokai.
Once the first area is cleared you can simply run through the outside section into the houses on the other side and run through them to the second Shrine. There isn’t anything important in those sections.
From the second Shrine head outside and kill another bunch of Yokai.
Once you are done get near Nine Tails sitting at a tree and grab the Cherry Blossom Chapbook she drops for the mission to succeed. You need this key item to unlock the Yaksha Returns sub mission
