The Fallen Star is the 25th side mission in Nioh 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of The Fallen Star Side Quest.
The Fallen Star is unlocked as you complete all other available side quests and exhausted all dialogues with the people in the Interim to get their secret side missions too.

Requirement: Complete all other available Side Missions, exhaust the dialogues with everyone in the Interim and to their Side Missions too

Fighting Revenants
When you start the mission, Maeda will immediately join your party to help out. Go up the hill, and you will see a large number of Bloody Graves in the area. When you walk towards the middle a large one will spawn, it is the main one you need to be aiming to kill.
After a bit, a Biwa Boku-boku will spawn on the raised platform in the middle. You want to watch for this and get over there and kill it as soon as possible, because as time goes on it will force spawn more of the Revenants in the area. Once it’s dead no more will appear.
When the original main Revenant is dead all others will die, and then you can speak with Maeda then complete the mission.

If you destroy the crystal in the middle, the Biwa Boku Boku doesn’t spawn.
I’ve already finished “The tiger approaches “but still can’t find this mission anywhere on the map, actually I can’t even complete the twilight mission because of it, right now I’m in the 6th region “Dream”
Can you try talking to everyone in Interim again? Let me know if that solves it. Make sure to exhaust all dialogues until they keep repeating the same thing.
Give it another look after the last mission. If that still hasn’t unlocked, you can get the mission by joining someone else’s game and doing it there.
I’ve already done that, I even finished one of the mission That I can only get from there I think the name of the mission is Restoring Harmony, can the Expeditions affect my progress? Because I’ve been playing with some friends with them being a host, for now I will just continue like nothing happened, I will let you know if anything changes ?
It also didn’t show up for me after finishing The Tiger Approaches. Can’t find a way for it to appear.
Finally, the mission has appeared for me, it turns out that you have to complete a lot of missions not just The Tiger.
Missions that includes a main characters like Hachisuka : “The Sunomata Yokai Hunt”
and Maeda : “An Error In Calculation”
even some Interim missions will not be playable until you finish em
You need to complete “the shiftling’s wise judgement” in the soaring region first…. I had the same problem and I started doing all the missions just to find it
