Hidetatsu’s Dying Wish is the 8th side mission in Nioh 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of the Hidetatsu’s Dying Wish Side Quest.
Hidetatsu’s Dying Wish is unlocked when you complete The Hidden Monster of Okehazama Main Mission.

Requirement: Finish The Hidden Monster of Okehazama Main Mission
Reward: Transient Blade, Pit Viper’s Robes, Pit Viper’s Hakama, Pit Viper’s Shoes
Find the spear
You will once again start where the Main Mission in the same area ended. Head back to the open area, where many paths will now be blocked. Hug the left side until you reach the path that goes up, back to where you originally started in the 3rd main mission.
Keep heading up and take the right on the first path choice and you will reach the Shrine shortly after that.
Follow the path towards the building inside a Dark Realm. Once inside you will be attacked by a few Gaki, a few Flameheads and a bigger Yokai whom you will have to defeat to get rid of the Dark Realm. Once the enemy is down the Realm will disappear and an objective point will appear on your radar. Simply pick up the items next to spear stuck in the ground and the mission will be done.
This finishes Hidetatsu’s Dying Wish side mission in Nioh 2.
