Shrine 1
Before going to Shrine 1, turn around and look behind the tree to the left to find Kodama #1.
Go forward from the shrine down the main path and through the gate on the left. This area will only have two human enemies in it to deal with, one guy near the back who will shoot at you and one guy walking around. Take them out, then go to the left of the door in the corner to find Kodama #2 behind another tree.
Go into the building behind where the enemies were. At the corner on the left will be an NPC Benevolent Grave, then on the right a few rooms. There will be one human enemy walking around the end of the hallway, then two enemies in the room to the left, one standing and one on the floor. There is also a Scampuss in the back corner of that room. Continue down the hallway and you will come to the outside of a large room with a unique looking enemy in the middle. This enemy is Spear # 1 of 7 who you need to kill for the Seven Wonders trophy. They are these unique human enemies wearing this armor, and are stronger than normal human enemies. They’ll use the full weapon movesets more like a Revenant and can heal and use jutsu buffs. They aren’t hard to miss, just make sure to clear every area thoroughly or watch for them being named in the walkthrough.
Once that Spear and the other enemy outside area dead, go out the door and follow the building around to the right. In a small inside area there will be two more enemies you can kill, then you can break the wall behind them to get to a side room with a chest containing Onmyo Mage’s Locks. Go back out and around the corner again and you can find Kodama #3.
Go down the stairs in front of this building and go towards the item down the path. On the right is a door you can open that gets you back towards Shrine 1. Now I would suggest just heading around the area counterclockwise, killing every enemy as you go, grabbing every item you see. There isn’t anything else majorly important in this area to grab, aside from all the way around the area where the path ends. You will reach a shrine with a Yokai Fog in front that spawns a Magatsu Warrior. Kill it, then loot the nearby body to get a Sanbo-In Key, which you need to leave this area.
In the shrine there is a small chest, then you can go over to the left to find a Sudama. Then trek back through the river killing the human enemy and the couple Umi-Bosa, then use the door to exit this area.
Just outside the door, you will see Mumyo standing by a tree. Speak to her and she’ll now come along with you for the next area. Go to the right from here first and kill the two enemies and grab the item. You can then head back the other way and you should see an enemy in a strange looking helmet walking back and forth, which is Spear #2 of 7. Kill him and the normal enemy behind him, then destroy the Amrita stone block your way. Head up the path and speak to the lady there twice to get a Lumicite Shared, before continuing up the path. On your way up there will be an Aberrant Soldier and a Skeleton, then you will reach the second shrine.
Shrine 2
Continue down the path from shrine 2. You’ll reach a large open area with a Rokurokubi, an Aberrant Soldier, and a Gozuki stomping around that you need to deal with. When they are all dealt with you can explore around and loot the area. In the shrine to the right there will be another Soldier along with an item. There are a few items in the courtyard on the ground, and you can also break the Amrita crystals to get a bit of that too. When you’re done looting, go towards the building on the left of the area. Inside walking in a circle will be another guy with a weird helmet, who is Spear #3 of 7.
Kill him and the other enemy in here with him, the go out the other side and to the left of the building to find Kodama #4.
You can see shrine 3 ahead, but don’t go to it yet. Go back through the building and go up the branch path to the right. Along the way there will be an Aberrant Soldier, then a Skeleton on the raised area when you’re on the roof. If you go over to the right side of the rooftop there will be an Enki along with another Soldier looking at bodies. Kill them, then look inside the building to find Spear #4 of 7. Loot the nearby items, then take the ladder down for another. Open the door, then proceed out of this building to shrine 3.
Shrine 3
From Shrine 3 you are now going to different areas to destroy more of the Amrita rocks to drop various floating platforms. Starting out head directly left up the only available path to where you’ll encounter a Yokai Fog, spawning an Enki. There are also two Rokurokubi lying on the ground beside it for you to deal with at the same time. Kill them, then destroy the Amrita rock blocking the path. Mumyo will now leave your party, but speak to her before continuing and she will give you a Lumicite Crystal.
Continue up the path, and in the next area there will be a total of three enemies with spears. The guy who stays outside in the red armor is Spear #5 of 7, you can wait for the other guy to walk inside and for him to walk back outside to deal with him on his own. Before going inside the temple to deal with the other two, go left on the outside walkway of it to find Kodama #5.
Inside the building there will be the one enemy standing still, and the other guy walking around. The walking guy is Spear #6 of 7. You can shoot the guy standing around first to kill him, then deal with the Spear on his own. Go to the back left inside the building to find a chest, then continue out the door to the right. Just to the left of where this next tree path ends is a Scampuss you can interact with, then continue forward. Ahead on the next branch path there will be a Skeleton and a Rokurokubi, which you should probably lead back off the branch so that you don’t fall off and die.
Continue to the next area, and first go to the left. You can drop down and kill the Rokurokubi, grab the items at the bottom and top of the ladder, then drop back to where you started. Then take the right path, and there will be three total Aberrant Soldiers on the way to the small building at the back. Watch when you go on the bridge as there will also be a Skeleton shooting at you from the left side. Go around the back of this building to find Kodama #6.
Go back to the front of the building and trigger the Yokai Fog inside to spawn an Enki, then loot the chest behind it to get some Ninja’s Locks. Now you can head to the right up the next branch path. At the top you will enter a Darkness Realm, where there is a Magatsu Warrior, an Aberrant Soldier, and an Amrita rock on the back left that you need to destroy to dispel the area. I’d recommend shooting the Soldier first if you can, then dealing with the Magatsu on its own.
After you destroy the rock don’t proceed forward, instead turn around and go back to the area you just came from, all the way back to the end through the building where the two Spears were. At the end of the path, you can now find Kodama #7. From here you can carefully drop off the ledge to the left, then go around the corner to climb a ladder back up.
Back where you destroyed the rock, you can follow this path and you will be back by Shrine 3, and the path beside will now be open. Don’t go down there yet though, because you need to get a couple of things first. Go back up the steps to the building and go around the left side, where you should now see a small island with a Yokai Fog on it. Trigger this fog and kill the Enki, then loot the chest. Go around to the opposite side of the building, and there will be another small island with the Hot Spring for this level. If you rested in all prior main mission Hot Springs prior to this you will now earn the Spa Lover trophy.
Now you can take the path to the right of the Shrine. In the area ahead there will be three enemies, two normal and Spear #7 of 7. Kill them all, then if you have killed all prior Spears you will earn the trophy Seven Wonders as soon as this one dies (if you are sure you killed all 7 and it didn’t unlock it will potentially unlock during the cutscene before the mission boss). You should then look over behind the tree in the left corner of this area to find Kodama #8, the final Kodama of this mission and the game as a whole if you grabbed all prior ones. If this was the last one of the 150 total you will earn the Kodama Leader trophy as soon as you interact with it.
With everything in this area picked up, you can now proceed up the mext path to the door leading to the mission boss.
Tokichiro (Final Form) Boss Fight
You get to fight Tokichiro a 2nd time but he is more aggressive now and uses even more elemental attacks. The same easy-cheesy spear exploit still works to some extent. See boss #31.
Equip a spear in high-stance and buy the spear skill “Spear Flourish”. It’s a starting skill for spear. What it does is to knock back enemies when you do a Ki burst, allowing you to stunlock them by alternating between high-stance spear attacks and Ki bursts. Tokichiro can be knocked back by the Spear Flourish so this works on him – but the downside is his counter has improved. When he blocks and you hear a chime sound + his swords get a glow, it means he will do an unavoidable grapple if you attack. So you need to watch him carefully to not hit him when he does that. Other than that you can use the Spear Flourish to push him into a corner and stunlock him there.
You can use Gallnut Broths (Ninja Skill Tree) to poison him. However, when he goes into Dark Realm mode he’ll cure all negative status effects including the poison. It certainly helps to shorten the phases of the fight but you need to be really careful that he doesn’t kill you while you apply the poison (or other buffs). You could just apply it before the fight so you can make quick work of him in his first phase. If you haven’t yet, get all Kodama in the region to start out with more Elixirs after death. Bring additional Rejuvenation Talisman (Omyno Magic) to heal yourself continuously. Steel Talisman also helps to receive less damage from him, so you can last longer. Oh, and also use the Hot Spring that’s just behind the 3rd Shrine, it heals you for quite a while.
When he goes into Dark Realm Mode, run as far as possible in a circle around him. While he uses electricity don’t bother attacking, he’s crazy fast. When he uses fire you can outrun his fire attacks and then land ~2 attacks on him from behind. You can also run around for a minute until he leaves Dark Realm mode automatically and then it’s back to his basic form.
Kashin Koji Boss Fight
The Kashin Koji boss triggers immediately after defeating Tokichiro. But if you die, you won’t have to beat Tokichiro again, so don’t worry about that.
Kashin uses mostly elemental attacks (of all element types). He’s a sort of mage, luckily with little armor and he doesn’t have much health. After you deplete his health the first time he’ll actually stand up again and you need to defeat him a 2nd time. If you do die in his 2nd phase you must beat him again in his 1st phase.
When you run in a big circle around him you can outrun his attacks quite easily. Wait for an opening, land a single strike, retreat and repeat. When you carry maximum amount of Elixirs and buff yourself with Rejuvenation / Steel Talisman it’s not too bad. If you die in this fight, hop in the hot spring behind 3rd Shrine before going back in.
When he goes into Dark Realm mode he might spawn clones of himself. Just hit them once and they will go away. He doesn’t always do this though. When he makes elemental swords rain from the sky just block them, those are hard to outrun. Mid-Stance or High-Stance work best in this fight. For Spear players the Mid-stance combo is recommended.
This finishes Cherry Blossom Viewing in Daigo main mission in Nioh 2. Now the mission The Blue-eyed Samurai becomes available.

Lol. I didn’t know that if you beat Tokichiro you don’t have to rerun the fight, so I made a crazy no-hit run against Kashin Koji since I ran out of potions in a first fight. Pretty cool bosses though.
Best time to hit Tokichiro is when he does his long fireball shooting sequence and you can ran at him at the angle and hit him hard.
