Obtained through a default picture of Hoothoot.
- 2 Stars: Park (Night) Research Level 2 – Near the end of the second opening area you will see a Hoothoot in a tree above. Look at the ground just beyond that tree and two Hoothoot will land and start walking around. This is their 2 star pose.
- 3 Stars: Park (Night) Research Level 1 – A rare moment!
Near the end of the level you will see Hoothoot stading where the Taillow was during the day on the sign at the end. Throw a fluffruit at Hoothoot and snap a picture.
- 4 Stars: Park (Night) Research Level 2 – You don’t see this every day
Near the end of the second open area you will see a Hoothoot in the tree to the right. Throw an illumina orb at it and play it a melody. Two more Hoothoot will fly from around the back of the tree. Take a picture of them in flight for this pose.

The 2 stars hoothoot is taken during the night when its sleeping in the tree. Trow a fruit at it and take a picture !
You can get the 4 stars by singing while hoothoot is on his branche..he will sing along and 2 pthers will join him flying. Take a picture of them flying
