In Mortal Kombat 11 you can use the SHOW MERCY at the end of matches to give your opponent some health back instead of finishing them. This guide explains how to use Mercy in Mortal Kombat 11:
How to SHOW MERCY: At the end of the match when it shows “Finish Him/Her” on your opponent press 3 x L2 + Down (PS4) / 3 x LT + Down at mid-distance.
You must press these buttons in quick succession! That’s

To make this easier simply spam + repeatedly in quick succession. Technically, you must only press it 3 times but if you spam the button combo the timing is more forgiving and it will work more easily.
Remember it only works at mid-distance (about 4 steps away from opponent). If you’re too close or too far it won’t work. You can only use this once per match. It works with every character in the game, doesn’t matter who you pick. You must be the winning player, the opponent must be in the “Finish Him/Her” state. It will show a golden text “Mercy” in the middle of the screen and revives your opponent with some health to give them a second chance. It works offline and online.

The quickest way to boost this 10 times in a row is in local versus match, put it to 1 Round in the game options to make it go quicker, use Mercy, finish the match, retry match.
