The story trophies are progression based for unlocking higher star-assignments (basically the difficulty of the quests). There are a few cryptic trophies that require catching specific monsters. Everything else seems straightforward, mostly progression based repetitive tasks you’ll do over time anyway. The big time-consuming tasks will be the gold trophies for obtaining all miniature crowns and giant crowns plus the silver trophy for researching everything about every monster. You can expect this to be a time consuming but relatively easy and fun platinum!

How do you like the Monster Hunter World trophy list? Is is what you expected? Are you going for the platinum? Leave your thoughts in the comments below and check out the full Monster Hunter World Trophy Guide & Roadmap for solutions on all the trophies.

LMAO. I’m hoping this comment is sarcasm.

You’re looking at least 400-500 hours here, and that’s if you’re on a mission to get them quickly.

There’s a reason why the two gold trophies are gold trophies. Getting a crown for monsters is pure RNG. If you’re strictly going for crowns it could take easily hundreds of hours for that alone.

Is it confirmed whether the platinum trophy requires playing online?
It looks like Hunters United Forever would require it, but occasionally games will allow you to set up a ‘solo’ multiplayer game (or some other workaround) so you can still get the trophies without involving others. Also, to my knowledge, the previous installments you could obtain everything solo. Wondering (and wishfully hoping) that’s the case here.

I just would like to see the the images for the trophies, I loved the FF15 trophy list but the images were so bland and rinsed and washed

In one of the capcom streams a bronze trophy pops and it looked like it was just the crest that they use in the logo. so i’m guessing they will all be the same in bronze, silver, and gold.

that sucks, I might still pick it up, I still have some faith though. Both fingers crossed!

For the Two gold trophies (Little and big gold crowns) we will have to use DLC quests too, since usually some gold crowns monsters are from there, an added reason to “Force” you to use them xD

Well lets just hope after a very long grind for this platinum, nothing will glitch out for the trophies to pop! RNG will be a problem too.

120-150 hours maximum. Don’t know why people talking about 400-500 hours. And what is Arena ? Hope not some PVP-garbage.

Arena quests are quests that force you to use a specific set to kill monsters in an arena, which means you don’t have to track them.

Also, 150 hours would require a lot of luck. Crown size monsters takes a long time. In previous games, I didn’t get all crowns until 400+ hours, though I also did a lot solo and some games had a larger roster of monsters. 300 hours would probably be average for platinum.
