Shamos Hide is a crafting component in Monster Hunter World. It is used to craft various Armor and Weapons and is needed for the delivery quests “Princely Prawns” and “The Shortcut to Happiness”.

Shamos Hide & Shamos Hide+ is dropped from the following small monster:
- Shamos (Coral Highlands)
- Normal “Shamos Hide” drops only on Low-Rank Difficulty (1-5 Stars)
- “Shamos Hide+” drops only on High-Rank Difficulty (6 Stars+)
You can defeat these monsters as often as you wish to farm Shamos Hide, they respawn when fast traveling to another map.
