Monster Hunter World Iceborne: Gold Rathian

Gold Rathian is a large Monster that you can slay or capture in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. It requires the Iceborne DLC expansion.

Characteristics: A rare gleaming gold-scaled Rathian species. When weathered in hellfire, its breath grows more lethal and its tail swipes braoder.

Useful Information: The hellfire can be dispelled by dealing a set amount of damage to its head, which is extremely tough until broken. Try to destroy it as quickly as possible.

Known Habitats: The Guiding Lands (will first appear in Guiding Lands Wildspire Waste Region at Level 6 – must be Master Rank 69 or above to increase Region Cap to Level 6)

  • Thunder: 3/5
  • Ice: 1/5
  • Dragon: 0/5

  • Poison: 1/5
  • Sleep: 2/5
  • Paralysis: 2/5

  • Stun: 2/5

  • Gold Rathian Cortex
  • Gold Rathian Shard
  • Gold Rathian Surspike
  • Rathian Weave
  • Rath Gleam
  • Rathian Mantle (*Break Golden Rathian’s head, or break its back, or cut off its tail to drop this)
  • Rath Wingtalon+
  • Conflagrant Sac
