Monster Hardbone is a crafting material in Monster Hunter Wilds. It is used to craft various Weapons, Armor and Upgrades.

Item Description: Monster Hardbone is a precious bone obtained from high rank large monsters. Their rarity makes them highly sought after (Rarity 6).

Location:

• Monster Hardbone is a reward from defeating the following monsters: Arkveld (High-Rank).
• It can be obtained as a quest reward from High-Rank Field Surveys (beating monsters in the open world). On the world map you can click on monsters to see what rewards they will give (X on PS5 / A on Xbox), then click on Quest Rewards (R1 on PS5 / RB on Xbox). Especially from hunting Arkveld.
  
• Can be obtained from various 6+ Star Optional Quests as a reward (When Frost Falls, One Thick Veil, When the Dust Settles, The Chains of Life, etc.)
• It’s not gathered from Bone Piles.
