Monster Hunter Wilds: Hunter Symbol I, II, III Location

Hunter Symbol I, Hunter Symbol II, Hunter Symbol III are endgame crafting materials in Monster Hunter Wilds. They are used to craft various Weapons, Armor and Upgrades.

Item Description: Proof that you’ve hunted a tempered monster of Rarities 6 to 8.

Hunter Symbol I Location:

  • Reward for defeating Tempered Monsters of 5-Star Difficulty. On the world map you can click on monsters to see what rewards they will give (X on PS5 / A on Xbox), then click on Quest Rewards (R1 on PS5 / RB on Xbox). Tempered Monsters spawn in the endgame in High-Rank and will be outlined in purple color.
  • Also from Optional Quests with 5-Star Tempered Monsters (you can preview the rewards from the quest selection screen).

Hunter Symbol II Location:

  • Reward for defeating Tempered Monsters of 6-Star Difficulty. On the world map you can click on monsters to see what rewards they will give (X on PS5 / A on Xbox), then click on Quest Rewards (R1 on PS5 / RB on Xbox). Tempered Monsters spawn in the endgame in High-Rank and will be outlined in purple color.
  • Also from Optional Quests with 6-Star Tempered Monsters (you can preview the rewards from the quest selection screen).

Hunter Symbol III Location:

  • Reward for defeating Tempered Monsters of 8-Star Difficulty. On the world map you can click on monsters to see what rewards they will give (X on PS5 / A on Xbox), then click on Quest Rewards (R1 on PS5 / RB on Xbox). Tempered Monsters spawn in the endgame in High-Rank and will be outlined in purple color.
  • Only Tempered Apex Predators will spawn at 8-Star Difficulty: Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, Jin Dahaad, Gore Magala, Arkveld.
