Are you wondering how long is Monster Hunter Wilds? Here’s the answer:
Monster Hunter Wilds Game Length:
The full story (all 6 chapters) takes around 20-30 hours.
- Low-Rank Story until Credits (first 3 Chapters) = 8 Hours – the credits roll after this but the story continues in High-Rank
- Full Story including High-Rank (All 6 Chapters) = 20-35 Hours – doable in 20 hours for experienced Monster Hunter players and if using SOS flares to call helpers. 35 hours for new players or if playing without SOS flares.
- Slaying all Monsters once = 20-35 Hours – same as story length, you slay almost all monsters automatically as part of the story, there are only a couple optional ones. Hunts only take 5-12 minutes on average.
- 100% Completion / All Crowns = 40-50 Hours if someone shares their saved crown investigations with you to “gift” you all crowns. 50-60 hours if you farm the crowns yourself. See Crown Hunting Guide.
- Platinum Trophy / 1000 Gamerscore = 75-100 Hours – you need to repeat quite a lot of hunts like capturing 50 monsters, 50 apex predators, 100 multiplayer quests, 100 quests with Palico deployed, Hunter Rank 100. If you work on everything from the start and play in 2 player co-op and someone shares you all crowns then it can be done in 75 hours. If you hunt crowns solo yourself and don’t work on all grindy things from the start then 100 hours.
My personal playtime was 22 hours to finish all 6 story chapters playing solo with SOS flares to call AI helpers.
