Charred Oilbone is a crafting material in Monster Hunter Wilds. It is used to craft various Weapons, Armor and Upgrades.
Item Description: Charred Oilbone is a bone found in the Oilwell Basin. Covered in a thick coat of oil that built up over many years (Rarity 4).
Location: Charred Oilbone is randomly gathered from Bone Piles in the following regions (map locations in red circles):
You can get it from any of these bone piles. It’s best that you go from bonepile to bonepile and loot all of them until it drops. Then fast travel to another map to make everything respawn and go again.
The way bone collecting works is that each map has a few types of bones. Each bonepile on that map can drop any bone. It’s slightly random. So bones are not restricted to one pile, but rather to a certain map.
