Introduction
Welcome to the Mass Effect Andromeda Trophy Guide!
Before you begin there’s an important choice to make for the “Unwavering” gold trophy. Either beat the singleplayer campaign on highest difficulty or do 5 online co-op matches on highest difficulty. I recommend doing the 5 co-op matches. Not only is insanity difficulty very challenging on the first playthrough, but it also complicates the combat trophies (for example 100 kills while hovering is nearly impossible because enemies kill you so quickly). Some of the combat trophies are not meant for this difficulty and it would be annoying to fit everything into one insanity playthrough. Better go the easy route. Do everything in one playthrough on whatever difficulty and finish up the rest in multiplayer. Furthermore, there is free roam after the story so you can keep exploring and mop up a few miscellaneous trophies. After beating the story you also unlock New Game+.
Step 1: Play through Campaign + Combat Trophies + Do 20 Remnant Puzzles + 3 Romances
First things first you must pick a character training class in the main menu before the game starts. Choose “Scrapper” or “Operative”. Either one of them unlocks a skill that would otherwise take 10 points to unlock (important for trophy “Vanguard Surprise”). By the time you reach level 4 you’ll have enough points to buy any skill. This allows you to do most combat trophies very early in the game by reloading save games. Do one trophy, then load previous save game to get your skill points back. Pick new skills required for another trophy and repeat.
A very large amount of trophies is combat related. Try to get all of the skill related combat trophies out of the way asap – make it your top priority. Then you can skill how you want and enjoy the game more. You can also reset skill points in the med bay of the Tempest (your spaceship).
A few of the combat trophies are cumulative, meaning you have to do the same type of kill a certain number of times. Work on them as you play through the game (note: on Xbox One kills can be farmed via checkpoint restart. On PS4 they cannot be farmed and have to be done over the course of the campaign). Some trophies such as “Pinpoint Shot” for hitting 250 enemy weak spots can be very time consuming if you don’t work on them from the beginning. In the statistics you can see how many kills of each type have been completed (press Options-Button > Skills > Triangle-Button > Accomplishments).
Three other trophies to look out for are “Cryptographer” for solving 20 Remnant Puzzles in one playthrough, “Friendly Fire” for using the Remnant VI skill against all Rremnant enemies and “Matchmaker” for romancing 3 different characters. It doesn’t matter if you pick a male or female character at the start of the game. Either way there 7 chars to romance. Always talk to the people on your spaceship between missions. During dialogues there’s sometimes a heart dialogue option . Always pick this option when it appears! It improves your relationship. Talk to your partners often and try not to upset them.
Also deploy strike teams whenever possible (can be done aboard your spaceship). This is a minigame in which you can send out a team to do simulated missions and gather resources. There’s a trophy for doing 25 of these strike events. The extra resources are very useful so check for new strike missions every few hours. You might also like the official Apex HQ Companion App by EA. It allows you to send Strike Teams via your mobile device. Perfect for when you’re not at home. It’s available for iOS and Android.
By the end of the story you should have all the singleplayer trophies unlocked. If not you can reload specific chapters or manual saves in the pause menu / main menu. Make a manual save at the start of every planet so you can go back to redo specific tasks and kill more enemies!
Reminder: some trophies let you choose whether to do them in singleplayer or multiplayer. For the gold trophy “Unwavering” you can pick between an entire singleplayer playthrough on highest difficulty or doing 5 online co-op missions on highest difficulty. The choice is yours (I recommend doing the 5 co-op matches).
You can also follow this YouTube Playlist along the way (in recommended trophy order): Mass Effect Andromeda Trophy Guide Playlist
Step 2: Story Mop-up
Still missing a singleplayer trophy? Reload a previous save or start a new playthrough. If you followed the advice from the first step you will have a manual save of every planet. This lets you go back to complete any trophy you may have missed.
Step 3: Multiplayer
Again, some of the trophies let you pick whether to do them in the solo campaign or in multiplayer. There’s only one real Multiplayer trophy “APEX” for completing the multiplayer tutorial. The rest is possible in the campaign. However, some of the trophy requirements from multiplayer are easier than their singleplayer counterparts. It’s a matter of personal preference.

Fireworks Perform 100 power combos. |
||
Certain skills act as “primers” and some as “detonators”. When combined they create a powerful combo.
Equip one primer skill and one detonator skill. Use both on the same enemy (first the primer, then the detonator). It also counts when a teammate triggers your primer, or you trigger a teammate’s primer. This trophy counts together the kills from singleplayer + multiplayer. Primer Skills:
Detonator Skills:
|
||
Terminator Kill 2000 enemies. |
||
Self-explanatory. Simply kill a total of 2000 enemies. This will unlock naturally over time. You frequently encounter enemy troops. It counts your kills from singleplayer + multiplayer.
Death from Above Kill 100 enemies while hovering. (Single-Player) |
||
You will automatically hover when aiming a weapon while in the air (press X to jump). Works best with an assault rifle. Jump in the air, aim the weapon and kill an enemy. Repeat 100 times.
You hover for only a few seconds. Enemies have less health on the lowest difficulty. The difficulty can be changed at any time in the game options. |
||
Close Combat Specialist Kill 100 enemies with melee attacks. |
||
Press Triangle for melee attack. This is best done on the lowest difficulty so you can rush in without taking damage. The tech skill “Tactical Cloak” can be used to become invisible. Melee attacks kill most weak enemies in one hit (Vanguard profile improves melee damage). This trophy counts together the kills from singleplayer + multiplayer.
With Our Powers Combined Detonate 10 targets that were primed by a teammate. (Single-Player) |
||
Certain skills act as “primers” and some as “detonators”. When combined they create a powerful combo.
Teammates will frequently use their skills to attack enemies. When you see them using a primer skill, follow up with a detonator skill immediately! Only Liam, Peebee and Drack have Primer skills. The best squadmate for this trophy is Peebee. She often uses the “Pull” skill which makes enemies float in the air. It’s very obvious when she uses it. Her skill stays active for a relatively long time and doesn’t damage the enemy, giving you enough time to aim and engage with a detonator skill. Primer Skills:
Detonator Skills:
|
||
Pinpoint Shot Hit 250 enemy weak points while using a scope. (Single-Player) |
||
This requires a Sniper Rifle or any other weapon with a Scope Mod (Assault Rifle works best). All enemies of the remnant class (robots) have red glowing lights that count as weak spots. Some larger enemies have multiple weak spots on their body (especially “Architects”) and some have no weak spots at all. Hit a total of 250 weak spots while aiming through the scope. You should work on this from the beginning. Always put an Assault Rifle with Scope Mod in your loadout. When a big machine shows up check for weak spots.
The best way to get this is from fighting Architects. They are the gigantic boss machines on the planets Eos, Voeld, Kadara and Elaaden. They have weak spots on their legs and head. Due to the enormous size of these enemies they are really easy to hit and can withstand a couple hundred hits on higher difficulties. Below is a picture of the architect on Voeld (main objective in Heleus Assignment “Missing Science Crew” – complete the other Heleus Assignment quests on Voeld to reach this boss): Remember you can add scope mods (attachments) to your weapons. Mods are found in containers, dropped by enemies and can be bought from general merchants. One such merchant can be found on the Nexus where you dock the spaceship. |
||
Medic! Perform 25 revivals on teammates. |
||
When a teammate is down you can revive them. The fastest way to get this is in multiplayer with a friend. Let your buddy go down and revive. Repeat 25 times. If you don’t have a partner to help out play a few normal multiplayer matches. Hang back and wait for teammates to go down. Rush in to revive them. The Infiltrator class is the best for revives because of the tactical cloak skill that renders you invisible.
In the campaign put the difficulty on insanity. On lower difficulties your teammates rarely go down. |
||
Mastermind Using constructs, kill 100 enemies. |
||
Required Skill: Assault Turret (Tech)
Simply kill 100 enemies with the Assault Turret skill. This trophy counts together the kills from singleplayer + multiplayer. In Multiplayer the human engineer class has this skill. |
||
Icebreaker Shatter a frozen enemy with a jump melee attack. (Single-Player) |
||
Required Skill: Cryo Beam (Tech) Use the Cryo Beam skill to freeze an enemy. Now press X to jump and Triangle for a melee attack. The enemy has to die from this attack to unlock the trophy. Put the difficulty on normal or above so enemies can take more damage (otherwise they will die before freezing). You’ll know they are frozen when they fall to the ground, unable to move. Stop using the Cryo Beam just before the enemy’s health is depleted or else it will kill them. |
||
Fastball Hit an enemy with a thrown enemy 25 times. (Single-Player) |
||
Required Skill: Pull (Biotics) + Throw (Biotics)
The Pull skill lets you grab enemies and walk around withe them. “Throw” lets you toss the enemy around. Make sure you have the skill equipped. Aim at an enemy, use pull, and then throw him at another enemy. Repeat this 25 times. |
||
Rough Landing Detonate a trip mine with a thrown enemy. (Single-Player) |
||
Required Skills: Trip Mine (Combat) + Pull (Biotics) + Throw (Biotics) Make sure you have purchased and equipped the Trip Mine, Pull and Throw skills. Place a Trip Mine. Now use the “Pull” skill to grab an enemy and “Throw” to toss him into the mine. When using Pull you can walk around with the enemy and aim at the mine. Get close to the mine so it’s easier to hit. |
||
Friendly Fire Direct your Remnant VI to attack each type of Remnant enemy. (Single-Player) |
||
*Missable* The Remnant VI is a tech skill unlocked by completing Peebee’s quest “Peebee: Secret Project”. The quest triggers during main mission “A Trail of Hope”. To track the quest press Options-Button > Journal > Allies and Relationships > Peebee: Secret Project. The first step is to read her email aboard the Tempest. Then a piece of tech must be obtained from Planet Voeld (locked behind a Remnant Puzzle) and finally you must meet up with Peebee in her room on the Nexus space station. This unlocks the Remnant VI. There are 6 Remnant Enemies that you must attack with the Remnant VI:
You can see pictures of these enemies in the Codex under Andromeda species. With the exception of Architects they are all found inside Remnant Vaults. I found all of them in the Remnant Vault of planet Kadara. Because there are only 4 Architects and a limited amount of remnant enemies this trophy / achievement is missable! Be sure to get the Remnant VI as soon as possible and use it against all remnant enemies that you encounter. *GLITCH WARNING* |
||
Trapshooter Hit 25 floating enemies with Concussive Shot, Lance, or Incinerate. (Single-Player) |
||
Required Skill: Singularity (Biotics) + Lance (Biotics)
First of all you need the skill “Singularity” to make enemies float. To unlock it you must invest 10 points in the Biotics skill tree. Use Singularity on an enemy (or a group of enemies) and follow up with Concussive Shot, Lance or Incinerate. Repeat 25 times. Singularity has a very long cooldown but it sucks in all enemies that come near it. Use it on enemy groups for best results. Also bring the squadmate Peebee with you. She often uses the “Pull” skill to make enemies float. |
||
Sucker Punch Use a melee attack to hit 25 floating enemies. (Single-Player) |
||
Required Skill: Pull (Biotics)
First you need the skill “Pull” to make enemies float. Use it on an enemy and follow up with a melee attack (press Triangle). Repeat 25 times. Also bring the squad mate Peebee with you, she often uses Pull herself and you can melee her floating enemies. |
||
Pyrotechnics Expert Light three enemies on fire with one continuous Flamethrower attack. (Single-Player) |
||
Required Skill: Flamethrower (Tech) This works best with enemy dropships. Wait under a dropship and when the enemies jump out immediately use flamethrower on them. You encounter lots of dropships throughout the entire game. I did this on the very first dropship in “Chapter 1: Planetfall (Habitat 7)”. Every drop ship has at least a few enemies jumping off it at the same time. Make sure you put the difficulty on normal or above. Otherwise the enemies die before they start to burn. It doesn’t absolutely require a drop ship. There are lots of places to do this. Just make sure the enemies are standing close together so you can hit them all before the flamethrower runs out. |
||
Long-Distance Jump Travel at least 30m in a single jump. (Single-Player) |
||
Planet: EOS (Heleus Cluster, Pytheas System) The only important part is to RUN towards the ledge and DASH after jumping off. Also hold the jump-button, don’t just tap it. Holding it gives a bigger jump-boost. Jumping down from any high platform or mountain will unlock this. *Glitch Warning* |
||
Matchmaker Complete romances with three different characters across all playthroughs. |
||
First of all, it’s important to note that you can pick a male character (Scott) or female (Sara) at the start of the game. This will determine who you can romance. Either way you can romance 7 chars so it doesn’t matter.
In the Mass Effect Andromeda Romance Guide you can find the required dialogue options. They are in chronological story order. During these dialogues you will see an option with a big heart (). Always pick that dialogue, it improves your relationship! Also do the loyalty missions of each squad mate when they become available. Frequently read your emails aboard the Tempest, some of them lead to new romance quests or loyalty missions. Please note that once you commit to an exclusive relationship it will lock you out of other exclusive romances. The only exception is Keri, she can always be romanced, regardless of your relationship status. You are allowed to flirt with all characters at the same time. As long as you don’t commit exclusively to one person that’s okay. You can get the trophy in one playthrough by romancing Peebee (choose Heck Yeah in zero gravity pod for non-exclusive one-time fling), Avela (non-exclusive) and Keri (non-exclusive). This is possible because Keri and Avela don’t want an exclusive relationship with you and are one-time flings, so you can have a third romance with a character of your choice. For a full guide on how to romance all characters see Mass Effect Andromeda Romance Guide |
||
Vanguard Surprise While cloaked, hit an enemy with a Charge attack. (Single-Player) |
||
Required Skills: Charge (Biotics) + Tactical Cloak (Tech) Equip both skills, activate Tactical Cloak and immediately use Charge on nearby enemy. Charge requires you to have 9 skill points invested in Biotics or pick the Scrapper Character Class to get it for free. Tactical Cloak requires 9 skill points invested in Tech or the Operative Character Class. You gain skill points automatically as you level up. Before the game starts you can pick a class in character creation. |
||
Hang Time Keep the Nomad airborne for 35 seconds. |
||
This can only be done on the low-gravity moon “H-047C” in the Remav star system. Because you are in low gravity the Nomad will float in the air much longer. Go to the location in the video. You can jump down a big crevice. Here is what you have to do exactly: Spam these buttons as quickly as possible! Then you will easily stay in the air and the Hang Time trophy is yours. If you bought the recommend Nomad upgrades you can do 50 seconds or more. Without the upgrades it will be a little bit closer to 35 seconds. |
||
Unwavering Complete an “Insanity” single-player game, or 5 “Gold” multiplayer extractions from any firebase. |
||
For this trophy you have two options:
It really comes down to personal preference. I recommend you do the 5 co-op matches on gold difficulty or a 2nd campaign playthrough on insanity difficulty. In co-op you can rely a bit more on your teammates. Playing the campaign on insanity gives you a much more fulfilling singleplayer experience. But it also takes much longer to complete the game and some combat trophies aren’t meant for this difficulty. Playing online requires you to rank up and unlock better gear which takes some extra time (but the solo campaign on lower difficulty will be much quicker to beat so it evens out). |
||
Veteran Successfully complete a combined 25 strike team missions or APEX multiplayer mode extractions. |
||
For this trophy you have two options:
|
||
APEX Complete the multiplayer mode tutorial mission. |
||
From the main menu start Multiplayer. Now click on Tutorials > Play Tutorial Mission. This teaches you the basics and only takes 5 minutes. Complete all 3 waves and the trophy unlocks.

||
There are the following 6 squadmates:
You will meet and recruit them automatically over the course of the story. They are unmissable. |
||
First Contact Land on an alien planet. |
||
Automatic story unlock, unmissable.
Peak Condition Reach Level 40 in single-player mode or Level 20 in multiplayer mode. |
||
This can be done offline or online. Either reach level 40 in the solo campaign or level 20 in online co-op. You only need to complete one of the two requirements to earn the trophy.
In both modes you get XP for every enemy kill and for completing missions. You’ll automatically level up over time. |
||
Kitted Out Kill a foe with a Rank 5 weapon in a single-player game or equip a Rank 10 weapon in multiplayer. |
||
This is best done in Singleplayer.
Go to the Research & Development console on your spaceship (from where you view the galaxy map turn around and head to the end of the corridor to find the console on a table). First you must research a level 5 weapon. This requires you to be character level 30 or above. Develop the weapon, equip it and kill an enemy with it. You will need research data to develop weapons. It’s obtained by scanning objects (with your scanner) or by investing AVP in the perks that give research points automatically over time. |
||
High Performance Unlock Rank 6 for each single-player profile type, or obtain a Level 6 multiplayer bonus stat. |
||
For this trophy you have two options:
I recommend you do it in the solo campaign. Remember that you can reset skill points at any time in the med bay of your spaceship and redistribute them to max out the next profile. By resetting skill points you can sort of cheat this and don’t have to go into New Game+. You do not need all profiles maxed out at the same time, just max one out, reset skills and max out the next. Getting a rank 6 bonus stat in multiplayer is extremely time consuming. |
||
Full Power Evolve one tech, one combat, and one biotic power to Rank 6. (Single-Player) |
||
In Singleplayer you can buy skills from 3 different categories (skills trees): Combat, Biotics, Tech.
Upgrade one skill of each category to rank 6 by putting more skill points into it. The first rank costs 1 skill point, the next one 2 skill points and so on. It gets more expensive with each rank, but your skill also becomes strongers. Do not put all your skill points in one category. This also helps in unlocking different profile types needed for the “High Performance” trophy. |
||
Almost There Reach Level 25 in single player mode or Level 15 in multiplayer mode. |
||
See trophy “Peak Condition”.
Teamwork Create six strike teams or earn 25 assist medals in multiplayer mode. |
||
For this trophy you have two options:
Also check out the official Apex HQ Companion App. It allows you to send Strike Teams via your phone. Perfect for when you’re not at home. It’s available for iOS and Android. |
||
Top Talent Promote a strike team to Level 20. |
||
In your spaceship there’s a terminal for strike team missions. This is a minigame in which you can send out a team to do simulated missions and gather resources. One of your teams must reach level 20. You can have multiple teams, but for this one single team must get to level 20.
Strike Teams earn XP for every mission they do. They can never die and receive XP even for failed missions. Check back every few hours to send your team on a new mission. Gold difficulty missions give the most XP. Also check out the official Apex HQ Companion App. It allows you to send Strike Teams via your phone. Perfect for when you’re not at home. It’s available for iOS and Android. |
||
Jack Of All Trades Equip three different profile types. |
||
Profiles are special stat boosts. You get one profile very early in the story, depending on what character class you chose. More profiles are unlocked by investing skill points in different skill categories (combat, biotics, tech).
Profiles can be changed & equipped in the pause menu at any time (where you also buy skills). Here are all the profiles and their unlock requirements:
The profiles can be improved by investing more points in their respective categories. |
||
All Clear Increase all discovered planets to 100% viability. |
||
To increase viability you must do the Heleus Assignments on each planet and unlock all Forward Stations. The Forward Stations are marked on the map. Simply go near them and you earn a little bit of viability (they are fast travel points). The Heleus Assignments are found in your quest list (press Options-Button > Journal > Heleus Assignments). You unlock those assignments from the story, but also by driving around the planet, accepting quests and exploring points of interest. The first thing you should do on each planet is to complete the 3 monoliths and remnant vault. This will push the viability above 50% and improve the weather conditions. The monoliths are marked on the map. Go near one of them and it will trigger quest. After that’s done you can establish an outpost which again adds viability and new side quests. Do all the quests from the Outpost.
Quest givers are marked by blue exclamation points on the map. If you’re still missing viability but run out of assignments; go talk to all the quest givers on the planet, uncover the entire map, go to all question marks on the map, make sure you unlocked all Forward Stations. Basically do everything the planet has to offer. The only side quests that improve viability are the ones listed under “Heleus Assignments” and “Priority Ops”. Additional tasks can be ignored. You must increase viability to 100% on the following planets:
|
||
Terraformer Increase a discovered planet to 100% viability. |
||
See trophy “All Clear”.
Craftsmanship Craft armor or a gun with 3 augments. |
||
On your spaceship there’s a research & development station. When you turn around from the galaxy map head straight through the door to find a console on a table in front of you. This lets you develop weapons and armor.
Select “development” and pick a chest armor. All chest armors have 4 augmentation slots. Press X on the chest armor to add an augmentation, do this 3 times. Then craft the armor by pressing Options-Button. You will also need some materials to craft armor. They can be mined from planets. Mining zones are marked on the map. Before visiting a planet you can see what resources can be mined there. |
||
Data Mining Scan 100 different objects. |
||
Press D-Pad Down to equip the Scanner and X to scan an object highlighted in yellow color.
There are lots of scannable objects throughout the game. Use your scanner from time to time, especially in buildings, near unique looking objects and at mission objectives. If a scannable object is nearby it will be highlighted in yellow color through the scanner’s display. Pressing X will scan the object. |
||
Cryptographer Complete 20 Remnant puzzles in a single playthrough. |
||
*Highly Missable* Remnant Puzzles are similar to Sudoku. But first you must find glyphs that are near the Remnant Puzzle. Use the scanner to follow the yellow cables from the remnant console and scan the glyphs. Now you must decrypt the Remnant Code by assigning glyphs to a grid. No row or column can include repeats of the same glyph (only one glyph of each type per line). The same goes for each quadrant block (usually four quadrants divided by glowing lines). You can’t have two of the same glyphs in one quadrant. Start with the lines that are only missing one glyph. This will immediately give you the last glyph for that line (whichever one is not in the line yet). Then move to the lines that are missing 2 glyphs, 3 glyphs. Piece by piece you’ll get closer to the correct combination. You can also use Remnant Decryption Keys to solve the puzzle immediately (items that are rarely found in chests, sometimes near the puzzles). The puzzles inside remnant vaults are all missable. Once you complete a vault it will stay shut forever and there’s no way to get back in. This is why the trophy is so highly missable. |

i have your trophy guide bookmarked! super excited to play this game soon 🙂
Jake says
Hey awesome guide it is quicker as so earlier before 23rd March. So in singleplayer, do all kills and miscs trophies / achievements count by reloading checkpoint / save game for grinding them?
Jake says
Also other question do this game got new game plus for allow you carry over for 2nd playthrough with all skills of your class with max level system?
PowerPyx says
I don’t know about NG+ yet.
As for combat trophy farming: on PS4 it cannot be farmed. On XB1 it can be farmed because it tracks kills via Xbox Live and not through in-game stats.
You have to do the kills as you play through the game. But you can check your progress on some of them in statistics (open Skills Menu and press Triangle).
abdulrahman says
great, thanks.
Random Internet Man says
Can you bang more than one a playthrough? Would be cool to get all cheevos in one massive playthrough
PowerPyx says
Yes. However, some of the relationships require you to commit to them exclusively. So I think you can’t do all in one playthrough (but it’s possible to do more than one per run). I’m still investigating this.
Random Internet Man says
Great thanks!
Justin says
Any answer to this yet?
Also, Excellent guide thank you for all the hard work!
Anakha says
I can confirm that you can romance 3 in a single playthrough. As male Ryder, I was able to do the full romance line with PeeBee, Keri, and Avela. Finished the romances in that order and the trophy popped after Avela.
Random Internet Man says
Thanks for the heads up
Drex906 says
Are you sure you can use Load Latest Save in order to farm the combat trophies? Been trying to farm Fastball on the first dropship ambush and I have thrown and made contact with about 50 enemies using Pull then Throw and the trophy has not popped.
PowerPyx says
I must apologize, it turns out this doesn’t work on PS4. I was playing the EA Access trial on XB1 when I wrote this. Apparently it tracks kills differently. Sadly it doesn’t work on PS4 and has to be done over the course of the game. Bit weird they would make it different for PS4 players.
To clarify: can’t farm kills on PS4 — can farm kills on XB1.
redwine says
it works on ps4 i tried my self i just reload the same load
Swampy says
reload the same load? what are you talking about?
Powerpyx even said it’s not working on PS4
redwine says
all the combat trophies worked by reloading ,, only Fireworks trophy does not work
redwine says
on the first dropship ambush i did it
Jason says
I got it by doing one or two, letting myself get killed and resuming. Reloading saves doesn’t seem to work.
Drex906 says
I wanted to also make 2 recommendations for the strikes that I just learned. The first is that if you download the APEX app, you can launch strikes on the go, making it a lot easier for people who can’t be around their PS4 during the day or to manage strikes while out and exploring a planet. The second is to not just send out teams all willy nilly as they come back with negative traits when they fail, that over time make them weaker on their completion percentage. This seems like it would make the “Veteran” trophy just take longer since this is already a time consuming step since it requires real time with no exploits around it.
PowerPyx says
Thanks! I wasn’t aware of this app. That’s fantastic!
You are right about the negative traits. Better to do the strikes with high success rating.
Kim says
I reached level 20 with one strike team and have done more than 25 missions all on the phone app. I went to the in game console and can’t get either trophy to pop. Any suggestions?
Preposition says
Definitely having the same issue. First team hit 20 tonight, and I’ve successfully completed far more than 25 missions total.
Mark Majury says
I can’t seem to unlock the jump 30m achievement, doing exactly as you have shown. Plus I was able to get fastball up to 48% unlocked, now it won’t add to my progress. I think my achievements have bugged. Any ideas?
Mark Majury says
Had to remove my profile and download again, works now
Mark Majury says
The jump 30m achievement worked but “Fastball” is still stuck on 48%. Annoying as hell. Grrrrrrr

Thanks for the guide ! From what I understood, only one trophy is multiplayer-only (APEX).
Do you need Playstation Plus to achieve this trophy, and therefore to achieve platinium on the game ?
Drex906 says
DO flings count towards the matchmaker trophy? Like basically if you move into some romantic relationship, does it count? Cuz you can have sex with Gil, Peebee, and avda in one run but does that count as romance?
Justin says
I would also like a confirmation on this. I have Google searched the internet but can’t seem to get a definite answer. Are flings (sex) counting towards Romance? For example the Peebee one time no strings and the reporter at the end I have read about? Can those 2 be combined with somone exclusive at the end for the trophy?
H!NO says
Does anyone know If you can get the Insanity difficulty trophy by playing the game on New Game +? finish it first on normal and then New Game+ insanity?
Justin says
I too am curious about this part. Also, does new game+ make insanity harder than if you started a new game at insanity?
Fiel Veredus says
After completed the game , can you go back and farm kill or anything that you may missed ?

Can’t unlock Fastball and Sucker Punch, does anyone have the same problem??
Anthony wiener says
I am having the same problem and it’s driving me nuts. I have sucker punched easily over 100 floating enemies and the trophy still hasn’t fucking popped.
Robert says
I got Sucker Punch by using Pull and then meleeing enemies. That worked better for me than using Singularity. With Pull, the enemies come to you. If you use Singularity you have to run up to them to melee them. Singularity also has a long cooldown time compared to Pull.
Mark says
I heard that some melee weapons don’t work for the trophy. Omni tool worked for me though ?
JimmyHACK says
Thanks as always for your guide.
For “Pinpoint Shot” I got it super easy during the Cardinal boss fight.
Had a scope on my auto rifle with 0 shots on weak points.
Shooting his Orb several times during the fight triggered the trophy. Since you do shoot it a ton then it recharges/repeat. You could farm it and make sure (if on lower difficulties) by not shooting him when the shield drops. wait for Orb to recharge shield then just continue to scope the orb until trophy pops. Then kill him after.
Tommeh says
For the Teamwork trophy and getting the assists I found using an Adept and using the Biotic powers does the ‘Assist’ pop up (not sure if you or your teammates need to actually kill the enemy). You need to earn the Assist medals 25 times, so you can easily get the Bronze, Silver and Gold Assist medals in one match and that will count as 3/25 towards to the trophy.
Anakha says
For Matchmaker, it’s possible to choose “Heck yeah” for PeeBee’s fling and still complete her full romance story. I was able to unlock this trophy by finishing PeeBee’s romance, followed by Keri, then Avela.
Anakha says
After watching your Cryptographer video, I realized that there are more than 20 remnant puzzles.
There is a remnant base on Elaaden that was not in your video, it’s directly west of the southern-most monolith, just before a large pit in the SW corner of the map. I now have 21 remnant consoles decrypted in my accomplishments page, so maybe there are more out there still waiting to be found? At least now if you miss a single one you can still get 20 in one playthrough.
LegendaryBossness says
If this is true, you’re a life saver. I was 8 consoles deep when I checked this guide and realized I missed the very first vault console! I was kinda dreading having to play through again just for this trophy. Hopefully, this is legit and I won’t have to.
stealingmankind says
I was worried that I would have to spend a second playthrough getting the Friendly Fire, but…
SPOILERS:
The Architect during the final mission popped the trophy for me, so if you miss the others, that one can finish it off.
Linetto says
How do you shoot the romance in a run, if an exclusive relationship will block out other romance?
jOHeP says
Its across all play througs, so you can romance other characters in NG+
Grey says
You can do non-exclusive romances before doing the exclusive one. I did 4 romances.
Peebee, Vetra, Avela and Cora in that order.
Robert says
The Fastball trophy appears to be glitched for me. I have hit over 100 enemies by using Pull and then using Throw to hit other enemies. No trophy for me. Is there something I might be doing wrong?
Glitches the Spider says
Did you hold the button for pull? Basically you pull the enemy and hold them in place (winding up, so to sepak) and then throw (the ball xD) at another enemy when its lefe bar is highlighted
Glitches the Spider says
Just to clarify, I hold the button for pull even as I’m pressimg the button for throw

This is a great guide and I will be using it, once my game stops messing up nothing is popping and even had to re-initialize my ps4, but I am glad to see this. Thank you.

can i complete cryptographer achievement while loading saves and solving puzzles i missed ?
PowerPyx says
No, has to be in one continuous playthrough.

Thank you. :c

Can i get unwavering achievement by completing NG+ on insane ?
Yuri Dittrich says
Hey, great job as always!!
I have one thing to add, though: in the “FastBall” one the hitted target must be close. I couldn’t check how close, but if pull a target from less than say, 6 meters, and hit a target with throw that is also less than 6 meters, I guarantee it will count towards the trophy. Anything further than that it will not count: did more than 75 hits with no sucess.
Great place for doing this in Havarl: there are lots of caves with those kett dogs that attack on melee, and always in pairs. Also, you do not have to kill with the move.
Cheers!!
Drex906 says
Ya so 22 remnant puzzles and also you can farm on the PS4 for the combat trophies but you must die and resume rather than load saves. You won’t be able to track the combat trophies accurately using the accomplishments menu though pretty much ever unless you never die and resume during the game.

Hi
It seems on 1.05 the “Hang Time” trophy is broken.
I could not speed boost while in air, once I took off from the ground, the speed boost is disabled.

I’m having a lot of issues with the “Terminator” achievement.
I have 2 runs, one with 2500 kills by me and the second one with 1800.
Still, the achievement is not unlocked and that doesn’t even count the MP kills!
Any tips?
Nobodygrotesque says
For With Our Powers Combined trophy a nice tip would be to tell your partner to specifically target a enemy and there is a good chance they will prime the target. I was able to get all 10 back to back by doing this.
no thanks says
I’m never trophy hunting again. Games like this and Overwatch make them so ridiculously hard that they’re near impossible to figure out without using a guide. I spent a good hour on the asteroid dedicating myself to the Hang Time trophy and I still never would’ve figured out how to do it without this guide. Long distance jump is also ridiculous because it should’ve given it to me on the ice planet but makes you warp back from that stupid out of bounds shit.
I love Andromeda but I hate trophy hunting so much. The only trophies I ever enjoyed and probably ever will were for the game Primal Carnage.

Can I earn all trophies in the single player and then just get that one online trophy for the Online in the online mode
Vicente says
has anything changed after all this time?
were glitches resolved?
do I need to be online to get the trophies?
Could anyone clarify that?
