Mafia 1 Remake How to Skip Drive

Mafia 1 Remake Definitive Edition on PS4, Xbox One and PC has a useful feature called ‘Skip Drive’. This quick guide explains how to use it.

How to Skip Drive in Mafia 1 Remake:

1. Make sure the Skip Drive Setting is enabled. Options > Game > Skip Drive = ON.
   
2. In the story during certain driving sections (not during chases/timed objectives), you can press DOWN on the Dpad to Skip Drive.
   
3. This will immediately skip the entire drive and bring you to the next mission objective.

This is a great time-saver. Whether you don’t like driving, or are just replaying the game and want to save time it’s a nice feature to have. The game just doesn’t do a good job at explaining it and therefore it’s easy to overlook in the early game. For example, in Chapter 1 and 2 you won’t get this option because the game deems those drives “essential” to the story. But later on, most of the drives can be skipped. Enjoy this little time-saver.
