This Lost Judgment School Stories walkthrough will guide you through all parts of the School Stories side content in the game. You are first introduced to School Stories automatically during Chapter 2 of the main story, where you are required to do one short Dancing minigame to progress the story, then can continue working on the School Stories content at any time after that. The new School Story activities become available as you progress further in prior ones and increase Yagami’s Leadership abilities. All progress and Yagami’s current abilities can all be viewed in the School Diary section of the menu.
For progression getting locked behind Leadership levels, you shouldn’t ever grind level by repeating activities just for the sake of it. If you get blocked for having one of the stats too low, go work on one of the other stories instead, because you will get more than enough progress to the leadership levels just by finishing each story.
The diamond on the left shows Yagami’s leadership abilities in 4 categories, with levels being from 1 to 5. When highlighting the icon for each Story you can view the current progress or what is required to continue progressing them by the bar on the bottom left.
The top row of Stories are the major ones, which each have an associated trophy in the trophy list. They become available sequentially from left to right and have quite a bit of content overall. The Stories on the bottom row are generally shorter and don’t have specific trophies associated with completing them, but you must complete them all to finish the Mystery Research Club story.
The walkthroughs for each club will be listed going from left to right, top to bottom in the menu, EXCEPT for Mystery Research Club which will be at the bottom after all the others, as progressing in it requires completing all other Stories first.
Dance Club
The very start of the Dance Club story occurs during Chapter 2 of the main story, where Amasawa prompts you to investigate the Dance Club first because there are rumors of one of the girls working as a Sugar Baby. You speak with the girls and meet Nishizono who is the leader of the group, then you do a bit of a tutorial on the Dance minigame. After that you return to the MRC, then can continue investigating the Dance Club at any time.
When you return the next time you’ll have the actual full dance to do. For each step of the Dance Club investigation you do the dance 3 different times as practice, then do the competition version where it’s just the Dance Club girls doing it. To continue to the next step you at least need to pass the “Clear!” bar on the meter on the bottom.
Once you “Clear!” a dance, you repeat it the next time with more girls dancing with Yagami to learn it. For the first dance, you need to complete it twice, then the next time you speak with Nishizono you are prompted to Ask her about sugar babying, which you need to do to continue.
She blows it off as basically just a rumor, then you can continue and do the third practice dance. When you’re ready to continue the story, speak to Nishizono again and select “Head to the dance meet” to proceed.
The meet dances are the same as the practice ones, the girls just dance without Yagami being there.
After completing the dance you’ll have some scenes, then be back at the school where you’re told about buying new outfits to wear at Hustle Boutique in Ijincho. This isn’t necessary if you don’t want to do it, totally personal preference.
When you’re ready to continue the story return to the dance club room where there is an automatic scene where Yagami speaks to Nishizono. You are out in the hallway after, and go in again for another automatic scene, then can start working on the song for the next meet, “Long Drill on the Beach”.
Clear the song one time, then Nishizono will pull you aside and tell you about some of the rumors related to the Sugar Baby case, and she thinks it involves one of the other girls. You then need to go to the marked spot on Isezaki Road to investigate.
When you reach the marked spot you go into Target Search, and need to find Maika based on the given features list. She is the girl in the brown coat who is standing inside Pocket Cafe.
Amasawa shows up outside, and you need to go out and speak with her, then you’ll be tailing Maika to where she meets with her client. When you reach the end of the tail it turns out that a familiar face from the prior game is involved, Kasai from the Kaihen Gang. Deal with him and the rest of the group of bad dudes he is with.
After pumping Kasai for some information, the group is back at the MRC Room asking Maika about her involvement with the Professor. Go through each of the listed questions, and you’ll find out about Kotoko Itokura, a girl who has been skipping school who becomes an important part of the School Stories plot. After speaking with Maika, speak to Amasawa in the MRC room to go with her to speak to Kotoko. During the discussion with her, select the option “Why not come in for the MRC?” to convince her to start coming back to school.
When you’re ready to continue head back to Seiryo High and speak to Amasawa again in the MRC room. Go through the options with her discussing the Professor’s website, then you can head back to the Dance Club room to continue practicing the next song. After clearing it once one of the girls drags you away to show you Kotoko has shown up to the school. You can then continue by going back to the Dance Club room once again, where the girls tell you the prior club advisor has shown up at the school, then you need to go meet him by the faculty room.
He tells you some info about why he’s not been showing up and gives you a dance book, then you can head back to the Dance Club room once again. After telling the girls the old advisor still isn’t coming back, you can practice the second song a final time to max out the level. You can then speak to Nishizono again immediately to go to the next meet and complete the song for the fourth time.
Amasawa will now text you and tell you that you need to come to speak with her about an update to the investigation. You’ll now be blocked from progressing the Dance Club investigation further until you progress further in the School Stories. You can go speak with her to start working on the Robots Club investigation.
When you have progressed the other investigations further and return to the Dance Club room, you will run into the old Club Advisor again. He gives another story about why he can’t work with the club, then runs off. You can then start practicing the third song, “Esmeralda”. After you finish there will be some scenes, then you can go right back in and practice the song the second time and third time, followed by going to the meet and performing it one final time.
When you want to continue go to the Dance Club room again, but the girls will tell you that Nishizono didn’t show up to school today for some reason. To continue the investigation from this point you need Yagami to reach Level 5 Appeal, so should go continue working on other investigations to level it more.
When you return with Level 5 Appeal you will be able to start practicing the final song, “Girls”. Speak to Takanashi who is filling in as leader since Nishizono didn’t show up and you’ll be able to practice the song the first time. Amasawa will text you immediately after and ask you to come to the MRC room to see a new post on the website related to the investigation. You then need to go confront DancingBunny from the website with her, so speak to her in the MRC room and tell her “I’m good.” when you want to leave, then put on a disguise before leaving the club room.
You and Amasawa meet up to find Nishizono, then automatically start speaking with her. Go through all of the dialogue questions then she’ll leave, and you can head back to the Dance Club room to practice the song for the second time. You’ll then need to go to Hamakita Park to meet up with Norizuki to get her to convince Nishizono to try dancing again.
After speaking with her you can return to the Dance Club room once more to practice the song for the final time, then speak to Nishizono to go to the Dance Jam for the final competition. At the venue, you will be in seach mode watching for someone acting suspicious. Spot the man with the backpack walking to the right in front of the stage.
Yagami stops him from attacking Norizuki, then a bunch more guys and Sakakiba from the Neo Kaihen Gang show up.
Take them out, then you’ll have some dialogue to go through, before the girls’ final dance performance. Finish it to complete the investigation of the Dance Club.
Robotics Club
The Robotics Club is the second main investigation you can participate in, and has generally the most involved of any of the School Minigames.
Go back to the MRC Room when Amasawa asks and she’ll tell you about the Robotics Club and the info around the robot-based robberies that have been occurring around Ijincho. You can then go up to the 4th floor to meet the club members. Speak to each one to learn about their roles within the club, then you’ll go to a Scrimmage match to watch the group play. They agree to have Yagami be the driver of the robots because their normal one isn’t around. You’ll get a brief tutorial on how the minigame works.
The main goal you should always have during matches is to get pieces placed going into the opponents base squares, which gives an instant win and 100% board coverage (which completes the TownGo requirements for each opponent). For the first half or so matches you basically just have to focus on being faster with the robot you control, developing parts that help towards that. You’ll switch strategy up later to make the AI robots more useful once you can develop firearms.
Head back to the MRC room after to speak with Amasawa and Itokura again, then you can go back to the Robotics Club. You’ll now be shown how customization and part development work. Part Development is sort of like how it is for Drone Parts, except Robot parts sometimes have unique parts that can only be obtained from winning the robotics club matches, and they use “Club Funds” instead of your own money, which you obtain more of by winning more matches. If you want to know the locations to purchase or obtain any of the parts used for developing robot parts, you can check this page: Lost Judgment Robotics Club Parts & Materials Locations
Leave the Robotics Club room, and you’ll run into the actual advisor of the club, who Yagami goes and speaks to in the cafeteria. She very obviously doesn’t like the club and wants it shut down. Once you’re finished talking to her, you can return to the club to compete in the next scheduled match. This is how you progress the story of the Robotics Club in general, completing each scheduled match as they come up. You’re shown the map you’re playing on, along with the types of opponents robots you’ll be facing.
Next, you’ll need to go back to the MRC room and ask Itokura to help out with programming at the Robotics Club. She runs off, then you need to go search for her. The girls outside the MRC room say they saw her go to the roof, so head up there. When talking to her, respond with “Why not join the Robotics Club?”.
She’ll reluctantly agree, then you automatically go to the Robotics Club room. Talk to Okitegawa to complete the next scheduled match to continue the story. After the match Yagami invites Itokura and Sakura to come to the cafeteria to have a chat, where you get some info from him about the rest of the club.
You can then head back up to the Robotics Club room for the next scheduled match, which is the first actual “tournament” match in the story. The mechanics aren’t any different, this just happens in a different location and is meant to be more “serious”.
Go back into the Club room for some more story events. The group is arguing, so you should suggest “Why not have an idea meeting?”. You’ll then be asking for ideas from all the members, so go through each of the 4 options to quiz them on what they think.
Continue to the next scheduled match. You’re now able to start developing firearms for the robots, which if you want to make your time really easy you should grind for the R-Weapon report materials and start making guns for the two AI robotics. The easy way to get through all the Robotics Club missions is to make both of the AI robots the Assault body type (green scale icon) and give them the Sniper type guns, like the below image.
This is an image showing the basically “endgame” setup for the robot, but you can get a general idea of what to aim for. Giving them the sniper type firearms is best overall because as long as you upgrade the guns each time the next tier becomes available, they can more or less one-shot opponent robots on each increasing level of difficulty, which makes the matches very easy because then the opponents have to constantly wait for the robots to respawn. You don’t need to worry about the AI chips at the start, but once you have the extra slots on your robots just go for things like increased attack and Jammer if the robot body doesn’t have that built-in (some do, some don’t, only one AI type chip/effect can be equipped to an AI robot at a time).
After the match Amasawa asks you to come back to the club room with Itokura, where you discuss the robot-related robberies more. Then go to the Club room again, and ask Sakura to meet you in the cafeteria to speak more about the club. You ask him about the robberies, and he tells you about the filing cabinet with all the robot plans in it that Okitegawa keeps locked up tight at all times. You can then go back to the club room for the next scheduled match.
This is the first one on a new board type, a diamond instead of a square. The way to win isn’t any different, just try to make a path straight to the opponent base squares and place one in there to automatically win with 100% board coverage. After the match the actual advisor comes in and accuses the club of being involved in the robot-related robberies, where you should respond with “Defend the Robotics Club” and scare her off.
You can then proceed to the next scheduled match, another “official” one in the tournament. Once finished go back to the club room, then down to the MRC room to speak with Amasawa some more about the investigation, then back to the Robotics Club for more discussion about the tournament. You can then proceed to the next scheduled match, which is the first on the third board type.
This one is notably different, in which there are two separate side areas where most of the board pieces to pick up will spawn. When placing pieces you still want to go straight through the middle to the opponent’s base. If you hadn’t already started investing in the firearms setup for your AI drones this would be the time to do it, because the matches on this map type start getting very frustrating otherwise.
The next match comes around and the group is noticeably ragged due to working so hard. Continue with the next two scheduled matches, then you will need to leave and return to the club room to continue the story further. Because of how intense Okitegawa is being Kurumazaki will walk out, then Yagami takes him up to the rooftop to chat. Return to the club room and some of the other members will walk out, and you’ll then need to go to the MRC room to speak with Itokura. Respond to her with “Like your old self?”
Return to the Robotics Club room, then continue through the next scheduled match with the remaining members. After the match, the main advisor comes in and accuses Okitegawa of being the one behind the robot-related robberies. When speaking to him after respond with “Are you really connected to those thugs?”, followed by “You need to talk to everyone.”
Some scenes will happen with Okitegawa talking to the other members, then you can return to the club room to find everyone back together, and can proceed through the next scheduled match. After the match, Okitegwawa gives Yagami the key to the filing cabinet to allow him to investigate the contents to prove his innocence.
Yagami and Awasama find that the plans for the robot like the one involved in the thefts were drafted by Kurumazaki, and you then need to go meet him in the cafeteria. When speaking to him he reveals he’s been blackmailed by the Neo Keihin Gang, and you can then go through some questioning with him.
You’ll then need to go to the hideout location he provided to find information. It is located on the east end of Tsurukame Hwy. When you arrive you will need to pick the lock on the door to get inside.
After grabbing a laptop inside, you will be attacked by a number of Neo Keihin members.
Put them down, then head back to Seiryo High to the Robotics Club room, and complete the next robotics club match. This is the final board type now, a square outer ring with a central area. The route to take on this one is up to you, whether you go along the other edge on either side or through the middle. You just want to pick one direction then stick with it to end the match quickly. If you’ve set your AI up both with the recommended sniper setup they make quick work of the opponents, allowing you to basically just drive through tossing down pieces very quickly.
Back at the club room, the group has finished work on the transforming robot chassis, which you are REQUIRED to use in the final match on your controlled robot. The way it works is that it starts out in the setup of the Noble Valor types where it’s slow and has heavy armor, then transforms into the MB type which is fast and speedy.
When playing the match if you’ve set yourself up with the recommended sniper AI then you just want to transform immediately to get back to quick movement. The AI will make quick enough work of the opponents that you don’t need to worry about them damaging you, so it’s not worth sitting in the slow configuration when you can speed around instead.
After the match you want to head down to the MRC room to meet with Amasawa and Tsukumo, as he has managed to pull info off the laptop you took from the Neo Keihin Gang earlier. After the discussion, you will have completed the investigation of the Robotics Club.
Boxing Gym
The Boxing Gym is the next investigation you gain access to, midway through the investigation of the Robotics Club. Head to the club room and Amasawa tells you about the “Payback Boxer” that she wants you to investigate, and tells you of the Sieryo student Oshikiri. She then gets you to head over to Todoroki Boxing Gym to investigate.
Inside you’ll speak to the gym leader, Todoroki. You have to pester him a couple times before he actually allows you to start boxing.
You’ll now get a short tutorial on how the boxing mechanics work. This functions somewhat like a 3D fighter, where each of the face buttons performs a different attack type, then you can block high or low and move around. It also explains the general knockdown mechanic, where you need to either win through rounds (not preferable) or knock down your opponent so they don’t stand up or three times in one round (preferable).
Speak to Todoroki again to have your first actual match. For most boxing matches I found that the best way overall to win was just staying as offensive as possible at all times. Push your opponents into the corner, then keep switching where you’re hitting and they go down soon enough. Until you get to the final couple of opponents of the story you don’t need to worry about much more than that.
After fights, you gain experience in 4 categories that affect your boxing performance. You can refight opponents if you want to raise the stats more, but the game doesn’t ever really explain how they matter so it might not be generally worth your time.
Speak with Todoroki again and you will have a fight with Oshikiri. He’s way tougher than the prior opponent, you aren’t actually really meant to be able to win against him this time. After the first round, the game tells you about using EX Gauge in during fights, though this still doesn’t actually let you win. The game will automatically stop you during the middle of the second round, before going into a third round where Oshikiri starts being more stupid and you basically can’t do anything to him because he blocks all your attacks.
After the third round Todoroki forces the fight to stop, then you learn about his “special training”, which is the boxing-specific skill tree you can level up by paying Todoroki money after beating new opponents to learn more skills. You should check this after every new fight and purchase the new skills when possible, as they make the fights a bit easier, especially the EX move ones.
Speak to Todoroki once more and you go through some dialogue asking him about Oshikiri and the Payback Boxer. Go through all the dialogue options that come up through Todoroki, then you can continue fighting opponents.
To progress through the boxing club story you need to fight your way through each of the sets of boxers on the tiers, before fighting a “boss” character to go to the next tier.
The next two opponents should go down easy, then to continue you’ll need to leave the gym and tail Oshikiri as he leaves. He gets attacked by some men in the bar district, and Yagami steps in to deal with them.
Oshikiri explains a bit about why he wouldn’t fight the menu himself, then you can go back to the gym where Todoroki gives Yagami a beginner boxing book. Yagami automatically leaves the gym and has a phone call with Amasawa, then you can go back inside and complete the next two fights to continue the story.
After the final opponent, Todoroki introduces Gaku Onidake, who will be the first “boss” opponent for you to beat. He’s a bit tougher than the prior 4 opponents, but if you’ve been purchasing the skills and stay aggressive he won’t be much trouble.
After beating him, Onidake asks Yagami to go for some drinks. Speak to him outside the gym, then you pump him for some information about Oshikiri.
Back at the gym, you’ll see a fight between Onidake and a prior gym member, then leave and go to speak with Amasawa at the school about the investigation. She gives the name of an underground fighting ring in the city, then you need to go back and ask Todoroki about it, but he won’t tell you much. You then are able to continue through the next 4 opponents to continue the story.
After the fourth fight, you meet Sakuma, another former student of Todoroki. He’s the next boss opponent, and you’re able to fight him immediately. The main thing to watch for with him is that he starts doing charged punches, which you can guard against or dodge to the side of.
After beating him Sakuma wants to talk over drinks too (boxers like drinking I guess) so meet him at Bar Rodriguez. Pump him for some info like you did with Onidake, then head back to the gym.
You’ll have two more opponents you can fight right now. After the first one some story stuff happens, but then you can fight the next one immediately. After the fight, Todoroki tells you about where Oshikiri works, and you need to head over t the Smile Burger truck on the northwest side of the city to check on him.
Amasawa tells you the Payback Boxer struck again while you were with Oshikiri, which just raises more questions. You can then go back to the gym for your next two fights.
After the second fight, head outside where you find Amasawa hanging around looking suspicious. She gives you some info about Genbukai, and you find out that another of the old Keihin Gang Members is involved. After finishing with her go back into the gym, where you have your next “boss” fight against Mikimoto, the former pro who trained at the gym (and fights you in a pair of jeans). He seems to fight strange because he doesn’t actually do a lot of high blocking, so you can just run him down by being extremely aggressive. The main move to watch from him is he’ll combo some punches together, signified by them each having a blue aura around them and him switching hands each time. If you’re quick you can counter his attack before he connects, knocking him out of the combo and buying yourself more room to attack back.
After the match, Todoroki now asks you to meet him at Bar Rodriguez so that he can tell you more about Oshikiri. Head there when you’re ready and go through all of his dialogue, and he’ll tell you about Oshikiri’s father and his upbringing.
After finishing with Todoroki Amasawa will say she’s looking into more stuff and you’re supposed to train more. When you go near the gym the next time though she calls you right away with the info. You’ll then be able to do two more fights, then need to meet Amasawa back in the club room again to go over more info. The group decides to try and set up a target for the Payback Boxer so they can catch them in the act. This won’t occur yet, so go back to the gym where you’ll have another boxing match against Sakuma, who’s beefed up a bit since last time.
Head out of the gym, then back inside (you need to do this to trigger the next part). Your second last fight will be against Todoroki himself. He is probably the most annoying opponent overall (even more than Oshikiri next) because of how much he blocks. He takes forever to fight, so if possible you want to try using the EX moves to knock him out instantly during the round (preferably after you knock him down once to try and end the round quickly).
After beating Todoroki he deems you ready to take on Oshikiri properly, but before that you need to wrap up the rest of the case with the Payback Boxer. Head to the MRC room to meet with Amasawa, then speak to her again in the MRC room to kick off the plan. You’ll have to put on a disguise before you leave but can go with whatever you want.
The next scenes happen automatically, then you can head back to the gym for your rematch against Oshikiri.
The deal with this story fight is that there are actually 3 parts to it. The first one is similar to the prior fight, where he just blocks a lot, but he actually goes down pretty easily. You then immediately have a second fight with him, where he is enraged and extremely hard to fight against. Your goal in this fight is to knock him down once, which takes quite a while due to how much he blocks and has much more health. It took me three whole rounds to get him knocked down.
After the second knockdown, you’ve knocked some sense into him, and now you have the real final rematch (and this is the version of Oshikiri you fight when you choose him from the menu after). He has way less health than before, and other than constantly blocking attacks he’s actually easier than Todoroki overall in my opinion.
After the fight you’ll head outside and face some Honda of the Neo Keihin Gang along with some goons, because they want to take Oshikiri back to the Genbukai. Oshikiri helps you out in this fight, and Honda and the group should go down pretty easy compared to your struggles with boxing just before.
Oshikiri’s father shows up now and also tries to take him, but with the power of boxing Oshikiri stands up to him, and you get to put him and Honda down again.
After that fight, Oshikiri comes to the MRC and goes over some info with Yagami and Amasawa, then you have completed the investigation of the Boxing Gym.
Biker Gang
Amasawa texts you about investigating the Biker Gang after you complete the first set of opponents in the Boxing Gym investigation. She tells you about a local biker gang named Made in Heaven that one of the Seiryo Students seems to have joined, and wants you to infiltrate. She’s even got a motorcycle (is a moped really a motorcycle?) for you to use in your infiltration. Head over to Hamakita Park to meet with Kento who’s got it waiting for you.
You’ll go through a whole bunch of dialogue where you meet with other prospective gang recruits, then start your Death Race.
The way the races work is generally all the same, just the further in the story you progress the opponents will do different things. At the start you have a tutorial that goes over the basics. Accelerate with the triggers like most modern racers, steer with the stick also like most modern racers, though the way the game handles turning is sort of weird. Going around corners on the track is automatic, when turning you’re basically just moving left and right relative to the road, and stay at that point automatically. Your boost recharges automatically over time, and is the main key to winning races (the lower your game difficulty the faster your boost recharges, so if you’re struggling with races turning the game difficulty down does actually matter for this minigame unlike most others).
During races your goal is to take out all the other grunt bikers in your way, then when they’re all defeated you’ll be racing Boss around the track one full time, and first to cross the finish line wins the race. You can take out other bikers by boosting into them or ramming them from the side to knock them out.
After the first race, you’re in the gang, then Amasawa comes to show you the garage where you can customize your bike before races. All parts for each bike are unlocked right away, you just purchase them for money to increase the bike stats. It’s recommended for you to buy all the parts immediately when you get the new bikes to have the easiest time during the races, and always use the next level of bike.
Go back into the garage and select the “Death Race” option to continue the story. The general progression of this story is that you do 3 races against the underlings of the gang faction, followed by a race against the leader to take over that part of the gang. Each gang faction has different things they attack you with during a race that you need to watch out for. This first group uses explosives, which are thrown grenades or rockets they shoot at you. They can be driven around or guarded when they get near you.
After the first race, you will be approached by some men who are part of a group trying to get everyone to disband the biker gang, and give Yagami some more background info on Made in Heaven and the members in it. After their discussion, you can return to the garage and continue through the next two races. Before you can do the final one though you’ll have some tailing to do. You’ll automatically be out in Ijincho during the day, and you’ll need to then tail Bomber through town to figure out what he does in his free time.
You find out he’s meeting a girl, then need to go over and speak to her about what’s going on between them. Once that’s done you can go back to the garage to complete the race against Bomber. Once the race is complete and the story events are over you can reenter the garbage and now have a new bike, which you should immediately upgrade fully like you did the first one.
The next gang faction is an all-girl group, which a large focus on heavy metal music. They attack during races by throwing sound at you basically, which comes from tossing speakers that have a purple wave around them, or by shooting sound waves at you.
After the first race, you meet a reformed Bomber (actually named Hanasaki) and he comes with Yagami to eat and gives some info on the other Made in Heaven members. After he leaves you can continue through the next two death races so that you can face the group leader Rina. Before you can do the race though Seyama of the anti biker group comes by and gives you some info on the previous Made in Heaven leader and his untimely death.
When you’re ready you can continue to the final race. Beat Rina and you will be done two of four main factions. For winning you get access to another new bike, which you should dump a bunch of money into to level fully.
You’ll now be racing against Ghost’s crew. They’re notable because there’s less of them, but they take multiple hits to be knocked out instead of just one like prior racers. They primarily try and use melee to hit you, but also start having guns on their bikes later and try to shoot you (though the bullets are really slow and telegraphed obviously by the arrows on the ground).
You can immediately proceed to the second race with Ghost’s crew, which only has 3 more racers to deal with than the first one. After the race is over you’ll need to investigate the Prevention Group Office, which is located right beside Ebisu Pawn. There are some sketchy characters outside, including another Keihin Gang member who is totally up to no good.
Head back to the garage then you can complete the next two races right in a row, with the second being against Ghost for control of his faction. He isn’t really any worse to deal with than the prior guys, once you reach the final lap he just likes shooting at you a lot.
After the race, you want to show Ghost the evidence “Prevention Group Office Photo”.
He runs off on his own anyway to attack the Prevention Group office, and you show up and put him down. He’s wielding a bat, but should be no real trouble in a fight.
After he tells you some info about the Neo Keihin Gang, then decides to leave Made in Heaven. After some story events you will be back outside the garage and can continue to the next death race again the final faction. Make sure to upgrade your final bike fully before starting just like before.
The final members of Made in Heaven are basically just the types of bikers you dealt with prior times, just on a new really long track and with more of them. The first race is against enemies that throw bombs, the second uses sound attacks, and the third using melee and taking multiple hits to knock out. After the first race though you’ll get a call from Seyama, who asks you to go meet Suou at his house, then he explains the condition of Suou’s mother and why he leads a double life with the gang.
After the discussion with Seyama you can return to the garage and complete the second and third races. You can also then immediately start the next race against Suou from the garage. He has a larger group of bikers than the prior opponents with him and they basically use all attack types against you. When it’s just Suou left though he doesn’t actually attack you at all, only boosts to try and beat you. To beat him you want to basically wait with 3/4 boost stock at all times, only using the boost when it reaches max. When he boosts past use, use all your boost to get back past him and then let it regen.
After winning the race Suou doesn’t like Yagami’s idea of disbanding Made in Heaven, and you have to fight him over it. He isn’t very tough though, and doesn’t even use a weapon against you.
After the remaining story events Suou speaks with Amasawa and Yagami at the MRC room, and you have completed the investigation into the Biker Gang, the last major club.
Photography Club
The Photography Club is quite a short investigation, only involving you helping a girl named Toribe out with three separate photo assignments. When you return to the MRC room she asks for Yagami’s assistance photographing delinquent students and making them change their ways. When you’re ready to start head up to the photography club on 3F.
When you’re ready to start the first assignment speak to her in the photography room. You’ll then go to Jinnai Station where you are trying to photograph a student in the act of pickpocketing someone’s wallet.
Toribe shows the student the photo to make him change his ways, but he doesn’t seem to take it well and you have to give him a bit more of a tough response.
Leave the club room (going in the elevator then coming back works) then speak to Toribe again for the next assignment. This time she wants you to photograph a group of bikers who are driving through the city endangering people.
They also require a bit more thorough explanation of their wrongdoing.
Leave and return to the photography club room again and you will have one final photography assignment you need to do. This one requires a bit more work, as you need to sneak into the area where the photo is taken. Start by heading underneath the parking garage, then you can do something like throwing a coin to distract the man by the red ticket box and go up the stairs.
On the top floor sneak your way to the marked spot to get in position.
You now need to quickly get into position to take a picture. The best way is to sprint to the back of the area behind the white van so you are directly beside the man and the blackmailer, then take out your phone and snap a pic.
Everyone here now needs a more thorough explanation of why blackmail is wrong, so be sure to oblige them.
After the fight is over you’ll be back at Sieryo High, closing out this investigation.
Skaters
Early on in your investigation of the Robotics Club, Amasawa will text you asking you to go check out in the courtyard for something that has happened. On the wall of the school, you’ll find some graffiti associated with a local skateboard gang.
After viewing the graffiti you can return to the MRC room to meet with Amasawa and one of the teachers to learn about who they think is behind the graffiti. Amasawa then asks you to learn about the Ijincho Hounds, the skateboard group, over in Hamakita park. There you’ll find a group of skaters and get invited into the local skatepark. Now you’re introduced to the skate park minigame, where you do tricks off-ramps to earn points.
The basic gist is that you push up to the ramp, hit at the correct time as you hit the ramp to jump, then mash a button in the air to land the trick and earn points. The more tricks you do in a row the higher your combo goes and the more score you can get. There are point coins spread around the area that you can pick up, and if you pick them all up and reach a higher combo it spawns gold coins worth more points.
To get a high score during the minigame you generally want to try and grab the coins while going between each ramp, making sure to not take too long in between so that you drop your combo. Try to go to a new ramp each time to grab more coins to spawn the gold ones.
After showing off your skills you’ll leave the skate park, and immediately be attacked by a group of Neo Keihin Gang punks.
Deal with them, then Chiyoda, one of the skaters from before will come to invite you back to skate again. You can now access the skate park menu as well as the skateboard point shop by speaking to Chiyoda on the east end of Hamakita Park.
You’ll make another appearance at the skate park, this time facing off in a trick competition against another person. You just need to reach 2000 total points to win, which is a fairly low number. Now leave the area and come back and next time you speak to Chiyoda he will take you into the skate park again where you do another trick competition, this time to 2500 points. This time though the park has rails that you can grind on, allowing more tricks in between the ramps.
You also gain access to skateboard races now, which are the best way to earn point for the skateboard prize exchange. You aren’t required to do any races to progress the story at all, but you might if you want to get a better board right now.
Leave and come back later again to have Chiyoda take you to the park once more. This final time you’re doing a trick competition against Shikishima, and need to score 3000 points in exchange for him answering a question for you about the Professor. Yagami doesn’t get much out of him though, and he leaves without giving much info.
Leave the area (or take the taxi to Kamurocho and back) then Chiyoda will text you, asking you to come to the park to meet him. You end up fighting some more Neo Keihin Gang guys who decided it would be a good idea to beat up children.
After the fight when responding to Shikishima, show him the evidence “Photo of Shikishima Spraying Graffiti”, followed by the response “Message to Chiyoda”.
After the rest of the dialogue, Shikishima will come to the MRC and fill you in on his involvement with the Professor, ending this investigation.
eSports Club
Amasawa wants you to investigate the eSports Club, which has become involved in a scandal around one of the members cheating to win a tournament. One of the members asks you to come to investigate to try and prove that the club leader didn’t cheat, and you’ll go to hang out and play some fighting games.
The game the group plays is Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, which you may have run into beforehand as it’s one of the arcade minigames included in a few Yakuza games now. The matches at the eSports Club are generally very easy, so don’t worry too much if you don’t like it normally. You can use the general cheesy strategy of using Vanessa and just holding then to have her to two sequential kicks that mess up the AI most of the time.
After the initial tutorial match, speak to Sanbonmatsu to learn more about the club and its values, then leave the room to speak to the member of the school newspaper who is also investigating the cheating allegations. Head down to the cafeteria to speak with him further, then head back up to the club room. Your goal now is to get a match against Sanbonmatsu, but he requires you beat the other members of the club first. Speak to Toki and beat everyone else, then you can choose to go against Sanbonmatsu.
The first match will work as normal, no funny business happens, Sanbonmatsu is just generally better than the other members so you have to try a bit more (or be more cheesy). He wants a rematch, then during the second go your controls will stop working, and you’re basically guaranteed to lose no matter what (but he’s cheating). When you have the option, inspect his fightpad sitting on the chair.
He tries to make a run for it through the school, so you need to chase him down.
After you catch him he admits to the cheating, and you complete the investigation into the club.
Casino
Amasawa wants you to investigate an underground casino that she thinks a student is sneaking into somehow. After speaking with her in the MRC room, head over to Chinatown on the west side near the bathroom building. You’ll automatically watch the student go into the bathroom, then seemingly not come out, then you’ll need to search around some more. Go a short distance down the road back into the Chinatown area where you can see two men talking. Interact with them to gain the Buzz Researcher word “casino”.
All the searches are pointing to the area right around the bathroom (if you played Yakuza: Like a Dragon you’ll know what’s going on here). Go into the men’s side to try and listen to the conversation the two men are having, but you’ll get shooed away. Back outside pull out your Noise Amp and use it to listen to the menu inside.
You’ll get a clue to go over to Ebisu Pawn to get a membership card for the casino. Head over there and when the clerk asks for the password respond with “Bon au chic“, then reluctantly pay the 50,000 yen fee.
Return to the bathroom and you will now be able to get into the Casino through the back wall of the stall. In the casino go to the table farthest from the door and inspect the person with the round black hat and gloves.
It’s obviously Hayakawa in disguise, but they bluff you because you can’t force them to reveal their identity here. When given a response option, select “Gamble for the truth”.
Buy some chips from the counter, then start a game of blackjack. This one you can’t actually win, it doesn’t matter what you do. After the game you then want to inspect Hayakawa in observation mode.
You’ll then need to go back and speak to Amawasa in the MRC room. When brainstorming how she might be reading everyone, select “Smell”.
They both decide Yagami needs something proper smelly to hide his scent from Hayakawa. Head over to Welcome Pharmacy and purchase the “Perfume” item.
You can then head back into the casino and you will automatically put on the smelly stuff before entering. Speak to Hayakawa to begin a new match. This time you just want to play all the way through the hand, doesn’t matter what you have because you’re guaranteed to win.
After winning you return to the MRC room with Hayakawa and complete this investigation.
Girls’ Bar
The Girls’ Bar is a specific bar in Ijincho that Amasawa wants you to investigate because she thinks that a student was entering it underage and is connected to the Professor somehow. You need to talk to one specific girl who works there, Emily, but turns out she doesn’t like talking to just anyone so you need to work your way up to being able to speak with her. This leads into the Girls’ Bar conversation minigame.
You first pick a specific drink to order to share with the girl you’re talking to. Each of the girls has a drink they prefer over other which will give a slight bonus to her Liveliness meter, so you want to order the correct one each time.
You then enter the conversation part of the minigame, where you need to correctly string together a sentence to answer the girl’s question with. There are two wrong answers in each slot, so you need to make sure you’re getting it right.
After the conversation is done you will increase the relationship meter with the girl. The locks on the meter represent specific events that occur related to each girl, such as story conversations and a substory related to them.
After your first interaction, you’ll be stopped by a man outside, named Mori. He’s a regular at the bar, and gives some more tips about befriending the girls. You can also speak to him inside to get an idea of how you’re doing overall.
When you’re ready head back into the bar and continue talking with the first girl, Haruko. You can keep interacting with the girls until your drunk meter is full, then Mori will tell you that you probably need to take a break and boot you out of the bar until you sober up. The quickest way to do this is to use EX Drunken Fist on a nearby group of enemies that always appears to the west of the location, then going back in.
Below will be listed the favorite drink for each girl, the correct answers to her conversations, and the Side Case associated with them. The numbers beside each text response are what number in the list that they appear in (they always appear in the same slot). Once you reach the max level friendship with each girl you complete a specific Side Case related to them: Lost Judgment Side Cases Walkthrough

Mystery Research Club
Now that you have finished the investigations of all other clubs and groups, you can finally piece all the information together. Speak to Amasawa in the MRC room and you will go over each case, reviewing what you have learned.
Inspect each photo(s), some you will need to give direct responses on, some you won’t:
- Dance Club – Select Kotoko Itokura, then Kaoru Komekado
- Biker Gang – Select Letter From the Disciplinary Committee Suggestion Box, then Dan Murasaki
- Robotics Club – Select Tetsuro Kurumazaki, then Professor’s Order Notes
- Boxing Gym – Select Kenya Oshikiri, then Fixed Match Evidence
- Girl’s Bar – Select “That brat…”
After going over everything with Amasawa, Kento will call her and you then need to go look for him by Jinnai Station. Go to the Poppo just to the north and Amasawa will check inside. You’ll notice that Kento’s bag is sitting outside, so you need to call Ranpo and have him lead you to where Kento has gone.
Ranpo leads you to a nearby building, where you find Kento inside getting beat up by a bunch of dudes. Deal with them all, then you’ll return to the MRC room at the School.
When discussing the possible motive for the Professor, select the option “They’d get caught and punished.”
Finally, deduce that the identity of the Professor is Kotoko Itokura.
They call Itokura to talk, but she doesn’t want to give up the role of the professor and says she wants to keep working with the Neo Keihin Gang. Back in the MRC room, select the option “We could ask all my Seiryo contacts” to get the crew together to look for Itokura.
After everyone leaves, Yagami decides to check the building again where the thieving robot was originally found during the Robotics Club investigation. Head over there, find nothing, then get attacked by a group of Neo Keihin Gang members outside.
More gang members show up, but so does everyone from the boxing gym, allowing Yagami to escape. Nishizono then calls, giving a new location to check out where she spotted more suspicious characters. You are now at the building where Itokura is, so take the obvious parkour rout up the side to the window to get in.
When speaking to Itokura inside, show her the evidence “The Photo from the Hospital”.
After speaking with Itokura more and seeing some scenes you’ll be outside, and now you finally get to face Koga.
Thanks to the help of the Seiryo students him and his men don’t even have firearms, so they’re pretty low levels of danger at this point. Put Koga down and you will complete the investigation of the Professor and the School Stories section of the game.
