Where The Kappa Roam is a Side Case in Lost Judgment where you are tasked with finding 7 Kappa Statue Locations that have been stolen from around Ijincho. Completion of this Side Case is required the “Elementary, My Dear” trophy and achievement for completing all Side Cases. The reward obtained from finishing the Side Case is also required for “TownGo Master”.
Starting Location: Where the Kappa Roam
The Side Case can be started by N Sakura River St., west of Poppo.
By the river, you will spot a drunk man holding a Kappa statue arguing with a man in a suit. Step in and you’ll need to knock the man out to get the Kappa statue back.
The man in the suit reveals to you that he works for the city and the Kappa were part of a community project to bring in tourists. The Statues are actually made of styrofoam though, and people have stolen them all. Agree to help him, then he’ll tell you there are 7 more statues somewhere in Ijincho for you to find. You can check the keyword “kappa” on Buzz Researcher for some hints to locations.
Kappa Locations
Kappa #1: Round walkway area between Fukutoku Bridge and Tsurukame Bridge.

Speak to the fisherman near the railing, and help him real in the Kappa statue.
Kappa #2: Benten Pawn for 100 Yen

The next Kappa can be purchased from Benten Pawn for 100 Yen. If it doesn’t show up in the store inventory, you may need to go over and listen to the two men at the hangout spot by Tsurukama Bridge first.

These guys are talking about how the one man found the Kappa and pawned it to the store for 300 Yen (so the store is selling it at a lose for some reason). This is meant to be the hint for where to go get it.
Kappa #3: South end of S Sakura River St.

The next Kappa is located at the south corner of S Sakura River St. and Misaki St. There will be two Kappa sitting at the end of the railing along the river, one that is meant to be there, and one that’s one you’re meant to find.
Kappa #4: Around the homeless camp/Onodera’s Wares area

Running in a loop around the fence of the homeless camp there is a man carrying a Kappa above his head. Chase him down and interact with him, then you’ll have to chase to down to obtain the Kappa from him.
Kappa #5: E Central St., south edge of the Girl’s Bite building

Right near where you finished chasing down the runner with the Kappa, you can find another sitting in a pile of trash on the side of the Girl’s Bite building.
Kappa #6: Drone Racing Registration Area

For the farthest Kappa away from the others, go all the way up to the northwest corner of the map to the fenced-in field area where Drone Racing Registration is. Inside the area, you can find some guys about to kick a ball at a Kappa standing in front of a goal.
Kappa #7: Yokohama 99

For the final Kappa, return to Yokohama 99 and head inside. You’ll now find that Tsukumo has the final one and was using it for camera testing. Note that this Kappa doesn’t appear until you find the prior 6, then is found automatically the very next time you return to Yokohama 99.
