Chapter 7 Walkthrough

It’s All Fighting From Here (for This Chapter)

This chapter starts immediately where Chapter 6 left off after you arrive at Sawa’s apartment. RK has shown up and is attempting to get rid of you and Kuwana. You start off immediately fighting Akutsu and a number of other RK members with Kuwana.

Work on dealing with the general RK grunts first, leave Chiba and Akutsu for last. Chiba will use Deadly attacks right away, which you should reversal if you see them coming. Akutsu isn’t a super active opponent, but he does plenty of grabs that you should watch for, mashing to break out before he performs the actual damaging grab attack.

After dealing with the first group Kuwana makes a run for it, with Akutsu chasing after him. Some more RK members show up on the current apartment floor for you to deal with on your own, but they’re nothing overly special. After they’ve been dealt with Yagami tries to leave, but a third group shows up momentarily for you to deal with quickly before proceeding downstairs.

The next floor down you will have another group of grunts to deal with, before proceeding down to the lowest floor of the building.

You are now fighting Akutsu again with Kuwana, with a bunch more dudes in your way. Try to take out all the other RK members first with Crane style to hit them all at once, then focus on Akutsu. Remember his grab attacks and he should be about as easy as before. Kuwana runs away again when Akutsu is at around half health, but that is the only major change from before.

Now With Even More Chainsaws

After the scenes following “beating” Akutsu, you will be in a warehouse fighting Akutsu again, except now he has a chainsaw. Be aware that during this fight you don’t have access to your phone, which means no using any healing items or anything. You do have Kaito and Sugiura helping you during this fight though so you aren’t totally on your own.

As before try to focus on the random enemies before dealing with Akutsu. Beating the random enemies causes them to drop healing items on the ground, shown by the white heart inside the green pillar. Pick these up to instantly heal some of your health when necessary.

There are a few large items in the area that are useful to pick up for crowd control such as the blue benches. Use them early if you need to work through all the regular RK members, then use an EX attack with the item before they break for maximum efficiency.

Watch out for when Akutsu reaches nearly the end of his yellow life bar because he will launch into a quicktime attack you will want to block, causing him to drop the chainsaw.

He will start using Deadly Attacks now, but with only him left it shouldn’t be anything you can’t deal with. Beat him and you will be back outside Sawa’s apartment. Go inside the building again to end the chapter.
