Chapter 5 Walkthrough

Meeting RK

At the start of the chapter, you will need to return to Genda Law Office to speak with Saori again about the case. Speak to her at her desk, then select “The groping incident was a setup.” followed by selecting the “Overhead View of the Station Platform” evidence to back up your claim.

Once outside you now need to get away from the law office to lead away the suspicious characters that appear to be watching it. Go north towards Hotel District where you will be stopped by a number of RK gang members that you will need to deal with.

After dealing with them you will be waiting with Kaito near the Millenium Tower building and need to head to RK’s hideout. You can take whatever path there that you want, you can just avoid fights with the gang members waiting in your way if you take the long way around. Once there Kaito goes in on his own to meet with the RK leaders, then Yagami decides to sneak in after him.

At the start go through the door marked PRIVATE on the right before the boxes. In this room you need to find a way around the enemies. First, inspect the vent to the right of the door you came in from, then the pile of yellow crates to grab something to climb into the vent with.

Exit inspect mode and interact with the crates to climb into the vent, then follow it to the end. You’ll automatically exit the event and knock out a bartender, stealing his clothes to use as a disguise. Exit the bathroom and go down the stairs to the next area where you’ll be stopped by an RK member who wants you to serve him a drink.

After he falls asleep from that super stiff drink, you need to sneak through the middle area to reach the stage where Kaito is. Go to the first box and either use a coin or smoke bomb to distract the first enemy, then move to the left of where he was standing to reach the next hiding spot.

There will be another guard standing by the pillars up the stairs, throw a coin to the right then walk through where he just was to reach the front of the area.

You’ll have one final guard to distract so you can reach the stairs, so use either a smoke bomb you might have picked up just before or toss a coin behind him and then take him down.

Now you’ll be fighting the group of RK members with Kaito. The general guys aren’t much to worry about, only Kaneda who has a knife and can’t be disarmed.

After all the enemies are dealt with Akutsu yells at them to try harder, so a bunch more guys run in and you need to deal with Kaneda once more.

Akutsu yells at them once more, and this time a number of big dudes join in who take a bit more of a beating. Kaneda also charges up and will start using Deadly Attacks with his knife, so make sure to reversal them whenever possible. There is a bunch of furniture in this area you can grab to deal quick damage to the enemies with EX attacks.

Meeting Yui Mamiya

Once the RK members are dealt with one final time you will exit the hangout, then need to head back to Genda Law Office to meet up with Saori again, then meet her at the taxi to try and meet with Yui Mamiya, the victim in Ehara’s groping incident. At her apartment select the option “Empathize with her” to be let into her apartment.

Inside her apartment, you will need to look around for any clues before speaking with her. There are a number of things to inspect in both the entrance and the living room. In the entrance, you can inspect the family photo, the bike, and the child’s drawing. In the room where she is, you can inspect Yui herself, her son standing in the doorway behind her, and the computer behind her to her right.

When you are finished exit inspection mode and you will sit on the couch automatically. When prompted, choose to show her the “Hiro Mikoshiba’s Murder Footage” evidence.

Once finished you will automatically return to Kamurocho outside Genda Law Office. Go inside and speak with Saori to go over the evidence you have. When prompted choose “Ehara’s accomplices posted it.”, then choose to show Hoshino the “Overheard View of Station Platform” evidence.
