Introduction
Welcome to the Lost in Random Trophy Guide! Lost in Random tells the story of Even and her journey to rescue her sister Odd from the clutches of the Queen ruling over Random. The game takes place in the world of Random, which is made up of 6 different worlds, Onecroft, Two-Town, Threedom, Fourburg, Fivetropolis, and Sixtopia. Every trophy, with the exception of the story-related ones, is highly missable! There’s no chapter select, so if you leave behind even one single collectible or missable trophy, you’ll have to replay the whole game from scratch if you want the Platinum. It is highly encouraged to make regular manual saves to the cloud (PS5 Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data (PS5) > Console Storage > Upload to Cloud Storage), so you can reload should you have missed something during your journey as Even.
Step 1: Play through the Story on Easy and Unlock All Missable Trophies
There’s only one step to your Platinum: play through the story while unlocking all missable trophies. There’s no chapter select and you won’t be able to revisit any of the game’s main areas after the story ends. As you play through the game, it is highly advised to keep following the guide to make sure you’re grabbing everything along the way. Quick tip: when you enter a new world, do a ‘find on page’ search here on the guide (on Desktop: press CTRL+F / on Mobile use ‘find on page’ in browser options) and type the name of the world you’re in. This will make your web browser scroll to those relevant trophies, so it’s easier to keep track of any trophies you need to work towards while in that world. Furthermore, after starting the game, you can select whichever difficulty you’d like the game to be from the Pause menu.

En Garde! Go unscathed for 5 minutes in battle. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
This is technically missable, but you’d have to go out of your way to miss it. As the trophy description implies, you need to survive for at least 5 minutes without getting damaged. The easiest and fastest way to do this is right at the start of the game. Instead of taking on the minions, start walking around the arena. When the 5 minutes have passed, the trophy will unlock. |
||

Resourceful Complete a battle without using any weapon cards. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
This trophy is missable! This trophy can be obtained in any enemy encounter against minions. When the encounter starts, you want to first gather crystals by shooting them off of enemies. Once you have a Full Hand, enter the Dicemension. For this trophy you need to kill all enemies within the same encounter without using any Weapon Cards. You know when an enemy encounter ends because no more enemies will spawn and you can continue through the game. Weapon Cards show a yellow sword icon that says “Weapon”. A really useful and powerful one that is not classified as Weapon but as Hazard is the Bomb. Anytime you have it in your deck and can use it, place it on the battlefield a bit farther away from an enemy and stand close to it. Once the enemy gets closer to it, shoot it and upon explosion it will deal a lot of damage. The bomb takes a while to go off, so you need to time your slingshot. The bomb card is just an example. The important thing is to finish an encounter without using Weapon Cards. Hazard, Cheat, Damage and Defense cards are allowed. |

Card Collector Buy all the cards Mannie Dex has to offer. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
To unlock this trophy, you need to buy all 34 original cards and buy any remaining one from Mannie Dex’s. This literally means emptying out his store. To unlock this trophy, you might have to do a little bit of coin farming as most cards are very expensive. A good place to farm coins is Fourburg. The town has a lot of breakable pots and they respawn when you back out to the Main Menu and reload your save file. Each run through Fourburg will grant you around 650-700 coins. Once you’ve broken every possible pot, visit Mannie Dex’s and buy any remaining card you can afford. Now rinse and repeat until the store gets emptied out and you will unlock this trophy. Alternatively, you can continue playing through the story, but you’ll have to remember to shoot as many pots and enter as many Dicey doors as you can find. If you decide to do so, don’t forget to buy whatever’s left in the store BEFORE fighting Odd at the end of the game. This is the last Mannie Dex’s store available in the game. If you ignore it, you’ll have missed this trophy. |

Dice and Slice Defeat 3 of the Queen’s minions using the same Dice Slice. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
This trophy is highly missable and particularly tricky. First, you need the Dice Slice card. This becomes available from the store as you buy more and more cards. Once you’ve purchased it, equip it in your deck. Once it appears in your hand, play it and send Dicey as far away from you as you can. As Dicey makes its way to the position you’ve sent it to, you will notice a tether keeping you and Dicey together. Anything walking through this tether will be damaged. The catch is that the tether is on a timer and it deals very little damage. So, ideally you want to hope that you get this card once you’ve damaged the enemies just enough to kill them once you’re tethered to Dicey. Unfortunately, this trophy is very luck-based. Once you’ve killed three enemies with the same tether, this trophy will unlock. |

The Menace Shoot 50 pots. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
This trophy is technically missable, but you’d have to purposefully go out of your way to miss it. All across Random you’ll find pots you can shoot at with your sling. These pots emit a blue light and when destroyed they release coins that can be used to purchase more cards at Mannie Dex’s. Make it a point to explore your surroundings as you explore new areas. If you are thorough enough, you should destroy your 50th pot once in Two Town. |

Go Fetch! Open your first dice door. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
This trophy is technically missable, but you’d have to purposefully go out of your way to miss it. All across Random are some small doors Dicey can open. These small doors are square-shaped and can only be entered by Dicey. The very first one is shortly after entering Two-Town. Approach it and press |

Knock Knock Go home and knock. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
World: Onecroft This trophy is highly missable! While following the ghost in Onecroft, you’ll come across three kids you can interact with. Behind them is a tunnel leading up to a ladder that should take you home. This is basically the same path you took while following your sister Odd in the previous chapter of the game. Follow the path all the way home (the big teapot) and interact with the door. The Narrator will say that Even didn’t knock on the door. Keep interacting with the door until the Narrator says that Even did indeed knock on the door, but her parents didn’t wake up. After interacting with the door a total of 6 times, the Narrator will give up saying that Eve knocked on the door and the trophy will unlock. |

Third Time’s a Charm Try to open the gate to Threedom prematurely. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
World: Two-Town This trophy is highly missable! After completing your first board game in Two-Town, interact again with the middle of the arena. Here the Narrator will say that Even cannot open the door to Threedom yet. Continue interacting with the middle of the arena until you unlock the trophy. |
||
![]() |
All In Play 8 cards in the same round. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
This trophy is highly missable, simply because it asks you to play in a very counterintuitive way. We shall first specify that a round is a single dice roll and not the entire enemy encounter. With that out of the way, you need to reroll your deck in a very specific way. Normally, you wouldn’t be able to play more than 5 cards, but by equipping the Game Master card (Cheat card) you can theoretically play as long as you want. The Game Master card is essential to get this trophy as there’s no other way to get other cards drawn to your deck. You can obtain up to 3 Game Master cards through story-related quests. Once you have them, you have to equip them all. Additionally, you have to have at least 2 Superb Draw in your deck to be able to play more cards. When the Game Master cards appear in your Hand while in combat, pin them and they won’t leave your deck. This way you can use all three at the same time when you have them in your deck. Remember that if you don’t see any Lucky or Super Draw cards in the store, it means that you need to keep buying more cards in order to unlock new Cheat cards. Once you’ve used your 8th card in a single round, this trophy will unlock. |
||
![]() |
Bombastic Defeat 3 of the Queen’s minions using one bomb. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
While this trophy is technically missable, there’s a high chance you will unlock this trophy naturally and without too much effort. Start by weakening three enemies. Then, once a bomb card appears in your deck, use it and place the bomb on the battlefield. Lure the enemies near the bomb and time your slingshot so that the bomb blasts when the three enemies are relatively close to it. If the three enemies have been previously weakened and the slingshot is timed correctly, the blast should kill all of them and you should unlock this trophy. |

Ghost Story Help the lost girl in Threedom. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
World: Threedom This trophy is highly missable and refers to an optional side quest in Threedom. At some point during your travels in Threedom you’ll come to an area called the Trenches. Right at the start of this area is the lost girl of the trophy description that you can talk to. Interact with her and she’ll ask you to find her sisters. Before being able to look for them, you need to open up the entire map. So, first, continue through the story and once all path guards leave, the area will be open for exploration, allowing you to search for the lost girls. When you’ve found all three girls, you’ll unlock this trophy. |

Gazzoo, Gazaak! Win a game of Gazoo, Gazaak! |
![]() |
MISSABLE
World: Fourburg This trophy is highly missable and refers to an optional side quest in Fourburg. In Fourburg, next to where you reunite with Seemore, are two NPCs you can interact with. Talk to them and once you exhaust any conversation option until it ends, you will have learned the rules of the game. Talk to them again and pick “Is that any good?” once it’s available. After that, any conversation option will do and when the conversation is over, you will unlock this trophy. |

Bern, Baby, Bern Help Bernie find his way over Talkie Walkie. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
World: Fivetropolis This trophy is highly missable and refers to an optional three-part side quest in Fivetropolis. At some point in Fivetropolis you will have to make your way to the Gluer. As you get closer to your destination, you’ll have to use your Sling to stop three cogs from moving so that you can proceed forward. As soon as you get past the three cogs, look to your right to find what resembles a brass speaker. Interact with it to hear Bernie speak from the other side. He wants you to give him directions. Here is the correct sequence of choices for the first Walkie-Talkie:
Eventually, this first Walkie-Talkie will go static and you’ll lose the connection with Bernie. The second Walkie-Talkie is located in Mystic’s Quarter (unmissable, story-related area). Approach the Walkie-Talkie to talk to Bernie. Now tell Bernie to follow his adventurer’s heart. The last and final Walkie-Talkie can be found as you make your way up St. Alchemist Street. At some point you’ll get to a fork. Instead of proceeding upwards, turn right to find the third and final Walkie-Talkie. Choose any conversation option whenever presented with one and once you end the conversation, this trophy will unlock. |
||
![]() |
Closure Find and defeat the Shadowman once and for all. |
![]() |
MISSABLE
World: Sixtopia This trophy is highly missable! Towards the end of Sixtopia, the Narrator will say that you’re getting closer to him. In this area, you should notice plenty of prison cells. In the prison cell immediately before the hill that leads to the Narrator’s, you can speak with the Shadowman. To unlock this trophy you need to choose the dialogue options “I pity you” and “Pitiful” when presented with them. If you choose any other conversation option, you’ll be locked out of this trophy. |

In the area where he stands, behind some crates, is a ladder you can climb up. Climb up the ladder and far off in the distance you should see a blue switch. Use your sling to activate the switch. This will move a beam so you can walk across. Advance when the red light is away from you. Afterwards, activate the switch once more to move the same beam near where you are so you can walk across to the next platform. On this platform, you’ll find something resembling a briefcase. This is one of the two Storybook Pages you can find in Onecroft and the puzzle related to this trophy. Once you collect the Storybook Page, this trophy will unlock. |

As you open more and more of this area by completing story and side quests, you’ll eventually come to an area with several switches. This is an area you have to go through as part of story-related quests, so it’s very hard to miss. Right next to the switches there’s a floor switch you can stand on as Even. While on the floor switch, you’ll have to shoot all targets before the time runs out. When you’re done, the trophy will unlock and you’ll also be able to collect a new Storybook Page. |

MISSABLE
This trophy is missable! This trophy unlocks once you’ve solved all 6 puzzles found across the game (see their individual silver trophies above), provided you didn’t skip any. |
abero says
you’re sure that there’s no glitched trophies?
I got the the single trophies for all 6 puzzles, but didn’t got the master Puzzler Trophy.
And i found and talked to the Shadowman and got the card afterwars, but it did’nt get the trophy ‘closure’ :/
Eli says
For the shadowman trophy you need to use the specific dialogues (bc you get the card either way) if you did then I have no clue. I got both trophies without an issue and wish I knew how to help
O says
For the puzzle, i think you have to get them all in the same game
RuffioLostBoy says
Do you know if trophies between PS4 and PS5 stack, and is there save transfers between the two to auto pop them?
FranciRoosters says
PS4 and PS5 have their own list, but the trophies are the same. No save transfer. You’d have to replay the game.
Anonymous says
Thank you for the trophy guide. I do want to play this game at some point but unfortunately EA didn’t publish a physical edition so I’m only interested if they do it later on or it comes to EA Play.
miracolo says
Get all 6 trophies for puzzles but gold trophy didin’t pop
Ricky Hamilton says
Absolutely ridiculous when a game requires specific trophies like this but doesn’t have a chapter select after. Got everything all the way to the end and then found out the Shadow man isn’t story related for the last part and I didn’t go to his cell in Sixtopia. Was just about to fight the queen when found this out. No save back to that point. Only my save yesterday when I first got to Fivetropolis. So back I go. all the fights again and another 2 hours added on before platinum. Fuming
FranciRoosters says
I hear you. It’s weird how they’ve set it up.
Julien says
I think it could be good to Say that in fivetropolis, you could not visit the city freely. It s a one way Travel and WE CAN’T go back so i miss the page of Book and must do an other entire playthrough for plat
Eli says
I feel you. I missed 1 page in Sixtopia (on my second play through anyway) and now I get to play again.
Dray says
There’s a glitch on ps5 where I can’t unlock the finished all puzzles review. Even with that issue, this game is fantastic. 5 stars. Great gameplay and probably the funniest best written game I’ve played. Great job on this one.
NekuFGC says
Can’t get Master Puzzler trophy. All 6 puzzles been solved!
Anonymous says
Lost in Random is now on EA Play which is the cheapest way to play the game on PlayStation (£3.99 for 1 month). Unfortunately, it seems like for some people, the Master Puzzler trophy can still fail to be earned even when all 6 puzzles have been solved so I don’t know if I’ll end up playing it or not because I don’t want to deal with the nonsense of glitched trophies.
Bruno Campos says
Glitched trophies: 0 ??? It’s wrong !!!
Trophy: Master Puzzler (Solve all of the puzzles)
Warning: Potential Glitch !!!
Any Version: PS4/PS5 and Steam
Anonymous says
I’ve just had the Master Puzzler trophy not be obtained even though I completed all 6 puzzles (while earning all individual puzzle trophies), which is the first time I’ve personally encountered a glitched trophy. This is really bad for me, considering I’ve been consistenly earning Platinum trophies since 2017 and don’t want this game to break the streak. I hope that deleting my save file and then doing a 2nd playthrough (up until I solve the last puzzle) will earn me the Platinum trophy.
By the way, it’s already been said but it really should be changed to “Glitched trophies: 1 – Master Puzzler”.
Anonymous says
I can confirm that by starting a 2nd playthrough and playing up until I solved all 6 puzzles, I was able to earn the Master Puzzler trophy (in 3-4 hours) and therefore the Platinum trophy.
I made sure to delete both save files (main game/settings) before I started and did it in a single session (pausing is fine).
