Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has a total of 65 Treasures to collect. Treasures are obtained from completing islands while sailing the waters around Hawaii, found in chests while exploring in Hawaii, Rich Island, and Madlantis, or purchased from minigame point exchanges. Most treasures only award money and reputation points, but you can also obtain unique rings and the Dark Instruments are also counted as treasures. Finding treasures is required for the following trophies:

The Man Who Summoned the Gods – Played every dark instrument. - Novice Treasure Hunter – Obtained 10 different treasures.
- Expert Treasure Hunter – Obtained 40 different treasures.
You are only required to obtain a total of 40 treasures for Expert Treasure Hunter so you don’t need to obtain all of them, but it is recommended to grab additional ones as they are an easy source of money and reputation early in the game, which will allow you to upgrade your ship and Majima’s combat abilities.
Obtaining the exploration treasures in Hawaii, Rich Island, and Madlantis requires the Chain Hook that is unlocked midway through Chapter 2.
You can complete both Sicko Snap substories to receive the Scope Ring, which when worn marks the location of Fortune Slips and Treasure Chests on your minimap.
All sailing areas (and some side areas in the early story sections) won’t be available immediately. New sailing areas that aren’t unlocked during the main story will appear as you progress through the Devil Flags side story, as each new officer you face will be in a new sailing area.
