Introduction
Welcome to the Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Trophy Guide! Infinite Wealth is the next “mainline” Like a Dragon game, being a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon Gaiden, showing the next chapter in Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu’s stories as they collide with each other. This sequel includes changes to the turn-based RPG gameplay to add even more depth, with the allowing of movement during your turn so you can position your attacks or abilities to more effectively hit enemies. It also includes the normal staple side content, along with two of the most robust side activities the series has created with the Sujimon battling and Dondoko Island mode.
If you played Yakuza: Like a Dragon you’ll know largely what to expect already with this trophy list. You aren’t required to 100% a completion list as the versions that exist are tied to the characters’ personality stats. The story is longer overall (one of the longest in the series) but as a tradeoff, you don’t need to do a ton of extra grinding after the story as the endgame dungeon is better balanced. Nothing is missable, so you can play all content as soon or as late as you want.
There is DLC at launch via the Master Vacation Pack. This DLC includes NG+ and Hard/Legend difficulty, along with an extra dungeon available in Premium Adventure that is much more reasonably balanced than the one in the prior game.
Step 1: Complete the Story
Your first step will be to complete the story. Nothing is missable so you are free to do as much or as little of the side content as you want throughout the story. The game is generally very good about warning you before any major story areas to stop you from going in unprepared, but if you are completing everything such as substories as you go you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. You can work on Sujimon and Dondoko Island during the story if you want, but leaving them all until after the story is quicker overall.
Step 2: Complete the Sujimon League and Dondoko Island storylines, clean up other Side Content
After completing the story and entering Premium Adventure all the side content will be available to you, so you should concentrate on first finishing the Sujimon League, followed by the Dondoko Island storyline. Doing them in this order is recommended as some features on Dondoko Island utilize the Sujimon, so having a bunch of them along with a max-leveled team will allow you to immediately make use of them there. Once those are finished you should clean up any other side activity trophies you hadn’t already finished, aside from the dungeons.
Step 3: Complete Hawaiian Haunt and Yokohama Underground Dungeons
Now with everything else finished, you can make your way into the dungeons in Hawaii and Ijincho and complete all 4 floors. The first 3 sectors are around the level you would be through the story, with the final EX sector being balanced for post-story. You’ll want to do the EX sectors after completing all other side content so you have each character’s second-best weapon and decent equipment without sinking time into crafting.
Step 4: Complete Master Vacation Pack DLC -or- grind Kasuga to Level 70
The only remaining thing you should have left is the trophy for Kasuga reaching level 70. This is a bit more grindy than it was in the prior game due to the different dungeon setup. If you are planning to complete the Master Vacation Pack trophies you can just move to that and start working on the Big Swell dungeon, as it’s balanced at a slightly higher level than the two main game dungeons. Continue with Master Vacation Pack DLC Trophy Guide & Roadmap. If you don’t have the DLC, then you’ll need to keep grinding the main game dungeons until you reach level 70 to earn the platinum.

This trophy is awarded for completing any 10 substories. There are actually 11 substories that you complete automatically while progressing through the story, so you will earn this trophy automatically even if you ignore all side content until the end of the game. |
||
Saving Lives Completed 20 substories. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing any 20 substories.
Living Your Best Life Completed 40 substories. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing any 40 substories. There are a total of 52 substories available in the game, so you do not need to complete all of them. None of them are missable and all can be completed after the story in Premium Adventure. The only ones you specifically need to complete are the ones related to the Sujimon minigame, as completing all of these is required to earn the Suji League Champion trophy. The Sujimon substories function as the storyline for the Sujimon side content, with all of them being involved with that minigame and its progression. Aside from those you can complete whichever you want to get any 40 of 52 substories for this trophy.
Squared Away Viewed all of Nanba’s Drink Links. |
||
Drink Links are extra scenes that you can view for each party member (aside from Kiryu). There are 5 scenes total for each party member, available at every 10th bond level up to 50. Completing Walk and Talk scenes isn’t required to trigger the Drink Links, but is useful to raise the bond level much faster. The first 4 scenes are just conversations with the character, and the final scene is a battle against some enemies with the character. During the conversation scenes, you can respond how you like, your response will just give a different personality/awakening XP bonus depending on your choice. Aside from Zhao and Joongi who are noted under their trophies, all the 5th scene fights are against level 32 enemies, regardless of what point in the game you complete the Drink Link in.

Breaking Free Viewed all of Joongi’s Drink Links. |
||
Joongi’s Drink Link events become available in Chapter 13 when he joins Kasuga’s party. The enemies in the Drink Link 5 fight are level 44, so this is one of the few that might be a tough fight if you are trying to do it as soon as possible. See Squared Away.
Starting Fresh Viewed all of Zhao’s Drink Links. |
||
Zhao’s Drink Link events become available in Chapter 10 when he joins Kiryu’s party. The enemies in Zhao’s Drink Link 5 fight are level 40, so this one might also be a tough fight depending on if you’re trying to do it as soon as possible. See Squared Away.
Rest Assured Viewed all of Chitose’s Drink Links. |
||
Chitose’s Drink Links are first available in Chapter 5 when you go back to the bar for the first story objective and are introduced to Drink Links. Note though that her final Walk and Talk event isn’t available until Chapter 11, and you can’t finish her final Drink Link until Chapter 13. Even though you have to wait the enemies in the Drink Link 5 fight are still level 32, so this should be an easy fight relative to Joongi’s who you can also do in this chapter.
Letting Go Viewed all of Tomizawa’s Drink Links. |
||
Tomizawa’s Drink Links are first available in Chapter 5 when you go back to the bar for the first story objective and are introduced to Drink Links. His is the earliest you can do, and if you are trying to do it as soon as possible you will likely be underleveled due to the enemies in the fight being Level 32. It’s best to save the fight until you are around Level 30, as it is tough to finish underleveled due to fighting only with Tomizawa.

Apex Dragon Reached level 50 with Kasuga. |
||
This trophy is awarded for reaching character level 50 with Kasuga. You will likely reach level 50 if you’ve been doing most side content while playing through the story, but if you’re trying to finish quickly you may not reach level 50 by the end. You can check Legendary Dragon below for suggestions on further leveling.
Legendary Dragon Reached level 70 with Kasuga. |
||
This trophy is awarded for reaching character level 70 with Kasuga. Enemies in the story cap out at level 50, and enemies in the two main game Dungeons cap out at level 55, so you will need to do some extra work for this trophy.
If you have the Master Vacation Pack DLC then just work through the Big Swell dungeon after completing the two Main Game dungeons. Make sure to put two XP-increasing accessories on Kasuga, then while working through the Big Sweel you should reach or be nearly at level 70 by the end of the dungeon. If you’re following the recommendations for completing the DLC you’ll be grinding a bit more before starting New Game+ and will earn this in the process. If you don’t have the DLC and don’t plan on getting it before finishing the platinum, you will have to grind extra for this in a tedious manner. In Premium Adventure enemies in the open world are bumped to level 50 – 55, but the best way to grind is to continually run the Yokohama Underground dungeon. The Yokohama Underground has the Vagabond enemies that give increased character XP (as opposed to Job XP in the Hawaiin Haunt) so you will want to continually run through the higher sectors until you hit level 70 while wearing XP-increasing accessories on Kasuga with him as an active party member. |
||
Superhuman Raised one of Kasuga’s personality stats to max. |
||
This trophy is awarded for raising any of Kasuga’s 6 personality stats to max.
Metahuman Raised all of Kasuga’s personality stats to max. |
||
This trophy is awarded for raising all 6 of Kasuga’s personality stats to max. Kasuga’s personality stats work the same as they did in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, giving bonuses to certain abilities or giving certain passive effects. They are also raised the same way, through certain side content like the Vocational School and the Personality Challenges (completion list equivalent). The requirements are a bit more lenient than the prior game though, and as long as you keep some things in mind while playing through the game and doing the side content you should be able to very quickly clean up with a few targeted challenges (or none at all if you’re lucky).
Before purposely trying to raise all stats to max, there are a few things you should make sure you’ve done which give the largest overall bonus to stats:
While working through the game in general, there are some other things you can keep in mind that give quick bonuses:
If you’ve completed all these and still don’t have all personality stats maxed, you’ll need to check through the Personality Challenges and see which you can complete to raise any remaining stats to Level 10. There are quite a few options, so if you want to completely ignore Minigame challenges you should be able to, but a number of the minigame ones can be very quick if you are fine dealing with them. |
||
Renewed Purpose Completed all Life Links. |
||
Life Links unlock during Chapter 8 through a story Event. These are a set of extra scenes that are sort of like substories, but specific to Kiryu and about characters he was involved with in prior games. You are told that you’ll get called when they are available after the first one, but there aren’t any that can be played until Chapter 10, with the final two available in Chapter 12. Each one also requires a minimum Awakening Level, with the final one requiring Awakening Level 9.
Each scene is linear and sometimes includes a fight. The final two have fights with level 40 and 44 enemies respectively, which might be tough if you’ve only been meeting the recommended story level for content, but if you’ve been doing most side content and are around level 45 or higher they shouldn’t be a problem. Once you have completed the final one you will earn this trophy. |

Precious Memories Gathered 30 Memoirs of a Dragon. |
||
This trophy is awarded for gathering any 30 Memoirs as Kiryu.
» Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – Memoirs of a Dragon Guide |
||
Abundant Memories Gathered 70 Memoirs of a Dragon. |
||
This trophy is awarded for gathering any 70 Memoirs. Memoirs become available in Chapter 8 through story events, and function both as a basic collectible and as Kiryu’s substories. Each Memoir awards Soul, Tech, or Body XP when you collect them, so it is good to do most of them even past the required 70 for Funk Goes On.
Around 50 of the Memoirs are marked on the map immediately when they are available in Chapter 8, and just require going to the marked spot. There are a handful of this type that appear later in the story, but the majority are available immediately. Most of the remaining Memoirs appear similarly to substories, with a white book icon when they are available. These are unlocked as you progress through the story further. You also receive one Memoir from each Life Link, as well as a few more from story events. » Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – Memoirs of a Dragon Guide |
||
Funk Goes On Pushed Kiryu’s Soul, Tech, or Body to the max. |
||
Kiryu’s Soul, Tech, and Body stat are unlocked in Chapter 8 through story Events. These function the same as Kasuga’s personality stats, having an associated challenge list (Unfinished Business) and increasing to a max level of 10, giving various abilities and passive buffs. You only need to raise one of his three stats to max, but you need to reach level 9 with all three to play the final Life Link, so you will get most of the way there anyway with all three.
Kiryu has fewer unique activities that are required for trophies, so the main thing to make sure you do with him is complete all Life Links, complete all Part-Time Hero rescues, and collect all Memoirs. These each give a boost to one of the stats and are generally very quick to do. Aside from those, the rest of the XP will need to come from challenges, so you will want to follow the same sort of initial method as Kasuga:
If you don’t max one of the stats after doing all of these, you’ll need to pick which challenge items you feel like doing to raise the stats, though you are much more likely to max out all of Kiryu’s stats without any grinding if you make sure to do all Memoirs (see Memoirs Guide). |
||
Alo-Happy as Can Be Experienced 8 activities offered by Alo-Happy Tours. |
||
Alo-Happy tours are unlocked through story-related substory 31 in Chapter 5. These are tours that you pay for once meeting the minimum personality requirement, during which you will unlock each of the new Hawaii jobs for the party. There are 8 total activities in the base game, so just participate in them all to unlock all jobs and earn this trophy.
If you have the DLC for the Tennis Ace and Linebacker jobs those also get their own Alo-Happy tours which count toward the 8 for the trophy, so you will earn this trophy when you have to tours still available. |
||
Side Hustle Raised a job to rank 30. |
||
See Ultimate Hustle. | ||
Mad Hustle Raised 3 jobs to rank 30. |
||
See Ultimate Hustle. | ||
Ultimate Hustle Raised 7 jobs to rank 30. |
||
This trophy is awarded for raising any 7 jobs to level 30.
Jobs have a level cap of 99 in the base game, so you only need to reach level 30 which is the final level that unlocks an ability. This counts all jobs including the default job for each character and unlockable jobs, and since there are 10 characters in the game you are effectively guaranteed to reach level 30 on 7 of them as long as you aren’t purposely switching off jobs before reaching level 30. |
||
Pound for Pound Dialed up Poundmates 30 times. |
||
Poundmates is unlocked through substory #4 which occurs automatically during the story in Chapter 3. After it’s unlocked you can then summon help with while it is the party leader’s turn in battle, in exchange for different amounts of money that increase depending on the strength of the summon. More Poundmates are unlocked through completing substories and memoirs. This counts each individual usage, so if you wanted you could immediately summon the same Poundmates in 30 battles to earn the trophy, though that isn’t recommended as it is quite expensive relative to how much money you have early in the game. You can check how many times you’ve used Poundmates by checking the “Pound Town” set of challenges under the Battle section, though note this is counted separately between the party leaders so you need to add both of their counts together to get the full count if you’ve used Poundmates with both. After using them a total of 30 times you’ll earn this trophy.
Something from Nothing Made 10 pieces of gear at Julie’s Gearworks. |
||
Julie’s Gearworks is unlocked through substory #20, which happens automatically during the story in Chapter 4. After this, you can head to any of Julie’s shops to craft or upgrade your weapons. For this trophy, you need to craft any 10 items. Crafting items requires using the “elemental” materials (Electric, Lava, Ice, Rainbow) along with the base weapon, and sometimes other unique materials, typically for the highest-level weapons.
Investing in the Future Completed all of Julie’s investments. |
||
Investment is available in Chapter 4 after leaving and then returning to Julie at her main shop. Increasing the investment level is what allows you to make higher level items, with the 4th level being the max and required to craft the strongest weapons. Crafting items counts the craftin price towards the investment level, but you will more likely need to spend money directly the finish the investments. The monetary amounts required for each level are as follows:
After you’ve reached investment level 4 you’ll be able to craft all possible items as well as earn this trophy. |
||
Sujimaniac Registered 100 Sujimon to the Sujidex. |
||
This trophy is awarded for registering a total of 100 Sujimon to the Sujidex. See Sujimon Sensei.
Sujimon Sensei Registered 200 Sujimon to the Sujidex. |
||
This trophy is awarded for registering a total of 200 Sujimon to the Sujidex. The Sujidex is unlocked through substory #2, which occurs automatically during the story in Chapter 2. It can then be viewed from the phone menu, and tracks every type of enemy you’ve defeated along with battle information about them such as their resistances and skills. There are a total of 317 Sujimon in the game, so you are effectively guaranteed to earn this while completing the story and all side content.
Dungeon Sweeper Conquered the Yokohama Underground. |
||
The Yokohama Underground is the second dungeon available in the game, unlocked right at the start of Chapter 10. These dungeons function differently than the ones in the prior game because each floor you progress through (aside from boss floors) is selected randomly from a pool of premade layouts, with the enemies being different groups that appear per sector. Each of the sectors has 10 floors, with the 5th and 10th being boss fights. The first 3 sectors are balanced around being completable during the story, while the final EX sector is balanced around being for post-game. There are also 5 trapped people in each sector who you can rescue for extra rewards and dungeon currency, usable at the shop for things such as weapon upgrade materials. Before each boss fight you get a a healing spot and a save location, so both of the dungeons are very reasonable to get through and you are only in trouble of losing progress if you get knocked out on non-boss floors, but you just get booted out of the dungeon.
The final boss of the Yokohama Underground EX Sector is Jo Amon (who you fought during the story) though this time as a real fight instead of a gimmick one to give you an ability. As soon as the fight starts he’ll immediately summon another 3 Amon fights, with all 4 of them being level 55. They function similarly to the Michio group, though having much more health overall and more specific type weaknesses and resistances. For example, only one of them is weak to fire, and the other three are resistant to it, so the attacks that target all enemies at once aren’t as effective. You still want to try to damage them as a group as much as you can, because if you take out the summoned Amons then Jo will call them back in, but without full health. They will also use tag team attacks themselves which are quite damaging, so be very careful to watch Kiryu’s health. If you go into the fight with Kasuga on your team and a fully charged Tag Team attack on every character you can use his Orbital Laser and the Ultimate Tag Team to do lots of damage to all of them quickly, then summon a group attack from Poundmates on Kiryu’s turn. If you are using area attacks try to focus them around Jo so you can take him out first. Once they’re all defeated you’ll receive your final reward from the dungeon and the trophy. |
||
Ruffians Beware Conquered the Hawaiian Haunt. |
||
The Hawaiian Haunt is the first dungeon available in the game, unlocked from substory #34 which occurs automatically in Chapter 5. This dungeon functions the same as the Yokohama one, aside from having a different drop currency and rewards. Its EX sector is also balanced around being for post-game.
The final boss of the Hawaiian Haunt EX Sector is a group of 5 Robo Michio who are level 53. They all have different type weaknesses, so when going in you should make sure you have strong attacks of each type on your party (blade, ranged, fire, shock, freeze). They also like casting debuffs or status effects such as sleep, so having a good supply of status healing items is good too. Don’t be afraid to use an expensive Poundmates summon either, as you’ll have received a large amount of money reaching this point in the dungeon and using the boosted platinum rank summons can nearly take out some of the Michios on its own. Once they’re all defeated you’ll receive your final reward for the dungeon and the trophy. |
||
Break It Up! Won 20 raids. |
||
Raids are a unique type of battle that can be found around the map after unlocking the Sujimon storyline. These are timed fights that appear in marked spots on the map, having enemies of the same Sujimon type as the map icon. Winning the fight gives Sujimon consumables, as well as the ability to catch a Sujimon of that type after winning the fight. Win 20 of these raids (regardless of whether you catch a Sujimon after) to earn this trophy.
Suji League Champion Completed all Sujimon-related substories. |
||
This trophy is effectively asking you to complete the Sujimon storyline, as the substories function in this manner and you must complete all of them unlock all Sujimon-related features and content. For specific information on the substories, you can check out substories #38 – 42 in the substory guide.
» Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – Substories Guide General Sujimon tips:
|
||
Sujimon Snag ‘Em Recruited 10 Sujimon from battle. |
||
After Raids, or occasionally after normal open-world fights, an enemy will stay behind and can be interacted with. Do this and you have the potential of recruiting them as a Sujimon. Catching is first done by giving them a gift, which you can purchase from the Sujimon PC shop or win after matches/raids. When timing the gift meter you can aim just for the upper third, you don’t need to get right to the end to get a perfect presentation. You then have to mash rapidly to compliment the Sujimon, after which they may be recruited depending on how you did. Successfully recruit Sujimon in this manner 10 times to earn this trophy.
Prize Fighter Maxed out a Sujimon’s level and friendship. |
||
This trophy is awarded for reaching the maximum level and friendship stat. Friendship can be maxed immediately with any Sujimon, but to reach max level you need to play through the whole Sujimon league substories/storylines, as the level of your Sujimon is capped at intervals of 10 until you defeat the next member of the Discreet Four, which increases the cap. You’ll be able to raise Sujimon to the max level of 50 after completing substory #41, which involves defeating the final Discreet Four member before you can take on the Champion.
XP towards friendship is increased through battle, but you can also increase level by using Sujimunch items from a Sujispot. If you are doing Sujimon later in the game or in Premium Adventure it is recommended to immediately level your current party up to the next cap to make battles easier. Note that you can increase the chance of an XP bonus when strengthing Sujimon if you use multiple types of Sujimuch (10% chance per type). Friendship is gained at around 10 XP per battle, so to hit max on friendship you just need to use a Sujimon in around 10 battles. |
||
Craftaholic Crafted 100 different pieces of DIY furniture. |
||
On Donodoko Island you craft items at the DIY station using the various materials that you collect. Items that can currently be crafted have the icon on the bottom, and items you have already crafted once have the purple checkmark on the top. For this trophy you need to craft any 100 unique items. There are hundreds of items you can unlock for crafting from increasing your building level, island level, picking up bottles on the beaches, or purchasing from stores in Hawaii, so you have way more options than this trophy requires and can craft whichever you’d like to meet the requirement while completing the island storyline. There are over 300 possible items to make, so you have lots to choose from.
You can check how many DIY items you’ve created by checking the Suggestion Box menu, then under the DIY heading check the first challenge for “Crafting a total of X DIYs”. This only counts unique creations, so you will earn the trophy once you have reached 100 on this challenge, which is the requirement for the 5th star level. |
||
Island Hospitality Welcomed 100 guests to Dondoko Island. |
||
Guests can be welcomed to Dondoko Island after reaching the 1-Star resort level. You can then speak to Kenzo and purchase lodgings, which are then placed on the island wherever you would like. The following day you will start being prompted during Morning Meeting to invite guests to the island. Guests have certain requests they want you to fulfill for them at the island, which affects their approval level and how much money you receive from them when they leave.
Guests stay in tour sets for a max of 3 days, so for this trophy you are playing a waiting game while inviting new guests. If you want to do fewer daily cycles to invite new guests, get the lodging setup immediately after reaching 1-Star resort level, then quickly work towards clearing the other areas required to place more lodgings, though note you can’t invite more guests if you place more lodgings in the 3-day tour window, only once the current tour ends and you can invite more guests all at once. When you hit 2-Star rating and get the next set of lodgings, upgrade as soon as possible, even in the middle of a tour cycle as you can just move the other current patrons into the new lodgings as long as you place them down in the same day. Once you’re done with the storyline if you’ve not reached 100 guests, you will have to just wait through the daily cycle to invite more. You can’t go to sleep until the evening, so you can just stand around and wait or continue doing activities to pass the time. Make sure to always deal with the Washbuckler invaders on the map before ending the day, because if you don’t they’ll destroy the lodgings, causing guests to leave. To check the number of guests who’ve stayed you can check the Suggestion Box > Guests section of the menu, then the second option for “Have a total of X guests stay”. Note this only increments at the end of the 3-day tour though, not when the guests show up at the start, so you will earn the trophy when this challenge hits 100. |
||
Dondoko A-Go-Go! Ran a TV ad on Dondoko Island. |
||
Once you reach the 3-Star resort level, you’ll be able to purchase TV ads to help increase Dondoko Island’s popularity level. Head over to Subaru on Dondoko Beach, then choose to purchase a TV ad. The cheapest one costs 100,000 Dokobucks, so once you have enough to do that purchase it to earn this trophy, along with increasing your popularity and adding new possible guests.
Basking in Glory Transformed Dondoko Island into a 4-star resort. |
||
Transforming Dondoko Island into a 4-star resort takes up the bulk of the overall storyline. The objectives are self-explanatory and the game will constantly remind you to complete the objectives related to this. If you want to make the quickest overall progress, always clean up the areas you are working on first thing during the day and make sure your guests are satisfied. When you start being able to get more Lodgings build them as quickly as possible to maximize the number you can invite, as they start giving large amounts of money the higher level they are and the more you can invite, plus will also save time toward Island Hospitality so you aren’t waiting at the end just for the daily cycle to invite more guests.
When working toward Satisfaction, always make the large building DIY items first. These give the biggest Satisfaction increase, along with big boosts to Building Talent which you have to level to clear the areas. Make sure you are placing them along the main roads or paths (places with in the build menu) which allows your guests to interact with them. Concentrating your guests and buildings is also helpful, so for example put all South lodgings in the Entrance/Great Tree area, and all North lodgings in the Hills/Caves area. If you want you can mostly ignore the other areas, or use them for items such as the garbage burn pits you can buy from Matayoshi that increase your daily material gain. For working toward Popularity, always make sure to keep collecting items like bugs and other ground pickups. Once you reach the higher collection levels they start giving big chunks of popularity, and a bunch of them are very quick to pick up in the Dondoko Farm area. Make use of the Sujimon spots as well for the same reason, as items collected from the farm spots also count in this way. Once you unlock the commercial slot you can purchase a new one every day to increase popularity, which also brings new possible guests to the island. 1-Star Requirement

Dondoko Denouement Completed the Dondoko Island story. |
||
Completing the Dondoko Island storyline requires making it to a 5-Star resort level, so only one level higher than required for Basking in Glory. When you have finished that trophy you’ll know the general plan going forward, continue pushing your Satisfaction and Popularity up the required amount.
5-Star Requirement
Once you’ve met the Satisfaction and Popularity requirements, you’ll be prompted to go back and speak with Matayoshi. Before doing this it would be a good idea to increase the Livability in Kasuga’s house if you hadn’t been prior. This affects his health, and you’ll be having a big fight to complete the storyline. You can put some fairly large items like cars in Kasuga’s house, which allows for very big Livability gains if you weren’t proactively putting stuff in there prior. When you’re ready speak to Matayoshi, you’ll receive a few healing items you can use. You should also make sure you’ve upgraded your bat to the max level for the fastest swing speed. When you’re ready, head to the beach and interact with the boat. You’ll fight all of the Washbuckler enemy variants here, with most of them being the higher-level ones that can do area attacks. Try to focus on the weaker ones first and only use fast attack to stun them, never use the charged attack because it’s hard to aim and doesn’t deal that much more damage to make it worth it. Note that you can use your healing items by hitting to open your bag, but this still occurs in real-time and you can’t move with the bag open, so move a short distance away from the enemies to heal. After defeating the enemies and having a final scene, Dondoko Island will become a 5-Star resort, completing the storyline and earning this trophy. |

Having Fun Yet? Played 10 different minigames. |
||
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth includes a decent number of minigames, including series staples and new ones just for this game. You need to start and play some of any 10 to earn this trophy. You can check which you have played in the Personality in the minigame section at the very bottom, though this trophy seems to count slightly different than the challenge. You may earn the trophy before 10 are checked off there.
The list of minigames you can play is as follows:
|
||
License to Skill Obtained 10 certificates from the Ounabara Vocational School. |
||
The Ounabara Vocational School is unlocked through substory #21 available in Chapter 4. If you remember it from the prior game, it functions in the exact same way. You pay to take a trivia quiz on the associated topic, with each quiz being 5 questions that you have 30 seconds per question to answer. The first 20 regular quizzes you only need to get 3 out of 5 questions correct to pass, so you have quite a bit of leeway in them. Most can be easily completed just by googling keywords from the question on another device in the available time. Note that you only need to complete 10 for this trophy, but completing all certificates is helpful for increasing Kasuga’s personality stats, and is also required for one of the substories. The final 21st quiz is unlocked after you successfully complete the other 20, and is a random selection of questions from all other quizzes that you need to get 5/5 on to pass. The questions seem to skew easier though (easily searchable real-life questions or ones specific to this game) so it shouldn’t take too long to successfully complete if you want to do it.
30 Mins or It’s Free Completed all Crazy Delivery courses. |
||
Crazy Delivery is a minigame that is unlocked automatically through story events in Chapter 2. This is a play on the game Crazy Taxi, but you are picking up food and making deliveries to people while performing tricks to increase your score. There are 4 courses, the first one you are required to play during the story. There are then 3 further courses for a total of 4, requiring you to get at least a C rank on the prior course to unlock the next one. Once you have completed the final course the first time you’ll be awarded this trophy.
Sicko Stopper Completed all Sicko Snap courses. |
||
Sicko Snap is a minigame that can be unlocked in Chapter 3 by completing Substory 8. You can then participate in Sicko Snap by taking a trolley from one of the trolley spots with the Sicko Snap minigame icon.
Sicko Snap is a rail shooter. You ride the trolley through Hawaii and need to take pictures of the Sickos as they appear, being scored for how centered and zoomed they are in each picture. You have a limited number of pictures per course, so need to make sure not to waste any. There are 3 courses, starting from the Aloha Breach Trolley Stop, the Sunset St. Trolley Stop (harbor Line), and Night St. Trolley Stop. Once you have completed all courses reaching the minimum completion score on each you’ll receive this trophy. |
||
Photo Hunter Took 30 different photos for the Photo Rally. |
||
The Photo Rally is a side activity that is unlocked from story-related substory #32 in Chapter 5. You receive a bunch of clues to locations to take photos of, after which completing the sets of photos you receive unique items. There are a total of 110 photo locations between Hawaii and Ijincho (which becomes available in Chapter 8) so you don’t need to take that many overall, but it is recommended you still do most of them as they are quick and have Personality/Unfinished Business challenges associated with completing them.

Spirit of Aloha Befriended 50 people through Aloha Links. |
||
Aloha Links is a feature unlocked automatically during Chapter 3. After this you can wave at people walking around with , interact with some animals, shops, or people being attacked to befriend them. There are 200 total characters who you can befriend, and you only need to have the initial befriend interaction with 50 for this trophy. Raising them to the Buddy status will give extra items as well as Personality XP, so it is recommended you keep interacting with everyone while playing but isn’t specifically required for this or any other trophy.
Don’t Hate the Player Met up with 5 people from Miss Match. |
||
Miss Match is the “dating” minigame that you can unlock in Chapter 3 by completing substory #7. The minigame is Kasuga using a dating app to talk to women.
There are 10 possible matches in the minigame, so you need to match and successfully meet up with at least half of them. Matching at the start with all of the women will require you to change Kasuga’s app subscription level and use more points per match, so it is recommended you leave this until later in the game when you have money to waste, as you don’t gain anything from the Miss Match minigame aside from some personality XP bonuses. Note that you can match with women who you don’t have high compatibility with so you don’t need to get the initial profile perfect, you will just get a smaller bonus at the beginning. You can still successfully hit the meet-up requirement in one text session as long as you get everything else spot on. |
||
Not a Total Waste Obtained an item from a toilet bowl. |
||
In Hawaii and Japan, you can find public bathrooms where you can enter the men’s side. In most ones in Hawaii and about half in Japan you can then interact with the toilets in the stalls to obtain the item Ethereal Egesta. It’s used in some weapon crafting recipes. Do this on any toilet, such as the ones beside Aloha Seaside restaurant to obtain this trophy.
Somewhere Over the Rainbow Photographed a rainbow in the skies of Hawaii. |
||
While in Hawaii there will sometimes be sudden rainstorms (your party members will sometimes call them out as squalls). Immediately after the rain stops you can spot a rainbow in the sky to the northeast. This is typically easiest to fully see if you stand on Sakura St. on the northeast corner of the map so you’re not blocked by buildings, though you can still see it from other areas. Pull out your phone with and take a picture of a rainbow to earn this trophy. |
DLC Trophy Guide:
Master Vacation Pack DLC Trophy Guide & Roadmap
Finch says
Thank you very much for the guide! I am relieved that this is an easier platinum compared to LAD. Like a dragon was grindy af. This one looks like a good time.
Matthew says
So nothing as difficult as that tower trophy in like a dragon??
Rafa says
No autopop confirmed?
WickedMatrix says
Autopop on Like a Dragon Gaiden never worked because of corrupt PS4 files and no patch was available to fix this. Hope there wont be a similar problem this time.
Gabriele says
“Master Vacation DLC: 20 – 25 hours” so…25 hours to complete NG+ on Legend + the Big Swell? Do you have any more details on NG+ (enemies lvl scaling, more XP, etc…) especially on Legend? Thanks.
Gage says
Yes, will have separate guide up with more info up soon. NG+ has a couple annoying spots but it’s nowhere near as bad as the final dungeon in 7. Basically just do a bit more setup after finishing Big Swell, then there are a couple points during the story you’ll want to grind level for story fights, but that’s it.
Gabriele says
Thanks again, much appreciated. I’m looking forward to the NG+ guide.
Marcus Lundgren says
Thanks for the excellent guide. Can’t wait to put on my Magnum P.I. shirt and spend the next month playing the game of the decade!!
SerahsArmpit says
yay for no completion list! crafting 1 of everything sucks
Nikki_boagreis says
Very well written and detailed trophy guide, looking forward to the official release date. Recently got the platinum for “Like A Dragon The Man Who Erased His Name” so this will be an enjoyable experience.

Having day 1 DLC is bad enough, but New Game Plus and the Big Swell dungeon being paid DLC at launch is pathetic and greedy in this £60/$70 game…
Noname says
have to agree
maxxdank says
Thanks for the guide Powerpyx, as always. I’m buying this today. Can anybody confirm if the standard edition is enough to platinum the game on PS5 and if you could buy the DLC separately later? Asking this because I cannot see anything in my region’s store. Thanks.
Gage says
No DLC is requirement for plat, all of it should be available to purchase separately once the game is available digitally in your region.
L0rdAceX says
Does the Hard Mode NG+ Trophy stack with the Legend Mode NG+ trophy?
Gage says
No, but you just make a save right before the final boss on Legend, then reload that and drop it to Hard and finish the last fight again.
Misty Lowen says
Autopop still can’t confirm?
Vince Michael Ong says
I tried it and when I finished chapter 1 and load my save to the PS5 version, it pop a trophy.
Vince says
I have a question, Gage, I got the Master Vacation Bundle and I am interested in doing NG+ on Legend to 100% the trophies. So, how hard is NG+ on Legend compared to the True Millennium Tower in Yakuza: Like A Dragon? I got the platinum on Yakuza: Like A Dragon following your guide years ago and was able to just BARELY complete the True Millenium Tower on Normal which was insanely difficult to me. If LAD Infinite Wealth’s NG+ on Legend is like True Millennium Tower I don’t think I’ll be able to make it through lol, so how do the two compare in terms of difficulty? Will I be able to beat NG+ Legend if I was able to beat True Millennium Tower? Thanks!!
Gage says
It’s far easier, the guide for the DLC is up now if you want to check it out. There’s only a couple spots in the Legend playthrough that are any difficult and just need a bit of preparation.
Seph says
Any Job recommendations for Endgame content?
Finch says
Got the platinum a few hours ago and personally I went with:
Ichiban – Hero
Kiryu – Dragon of Dojima
Seonhee – Kunoichi
Saeko – Idol
These 4 plus Joongi as desperado when I needed damage were my dungeon team. Try to get each element on every character as inheritance skill. It helps a lot.
For the rest I went with:
Zhao – chef
Chitose – Idol
Nanba – homeless
Adachi – samurai
Neme says
Hi Gage the gave have cheat item for the minigame, like basic of Shogi, Triple Yokan etc…? Thx
Gage says
No, 7 didn’t either but you aren’t required to actually do anything in those minigames past being included in the 10 for the one trophy, so you can completing ignore them if you want.
Vince says
Quick question: What’s the best way to farm bond levels to 50 for companions for their drink links? After you do all of their Walk and Talks it raises it to about level 30, what should I do for the remaining 20 levels? Thank you.
Gage says
Do all restaurant table talks, or just keep running around fighting enemies.
WickedMatrix says
Give them gifts, 2 gifts per one level up
Spencer says

I highly recommend that people get the level up drinks from minigames for the level 70 trophy if you don’t have the DLC dungeon or NG+. With the 5 free preorder drinks and 7 i found from minigames i managed to find the exact number i needed without grinding.
The drinks i found from minigames were from minigames are listed below, you can only get 1 drink per minigame in exchange for a fairly small amount of points:
Golf
Batting Centre
Sujimon Stadium
Shogi (not sure if Hawaii and Ichinjo share the same drink)
Can Collecting
Crazy Delivery
Sicko Snap
Hope this helps!
DarkHitman82G says
Just need level 70 for the platinum thank you for another awesome guide.The Best Game I’ve played
Khwarezm says
Thanks for the guide but I just needed to flag that the lifelink related trophy is missable and you can’t obtain it in the premium adventure. I’m saying that because you said in the first step we need to focus on the story so I had the feeling that I can go back and finish this later which wasn’t the case and Date San never called me to start the final life link.
Skyrealmz says
If you dont want to waste time waiting for a rain, load a save which you havent completed substory 12. The quest has a raining scene, after that scene rainbow will appear.
