Introduction
Welcome to the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered Trophy Guide! It has been a long time since we have last heard from this legendary series. Finally, Blood Omen 1 and 2 are getting added to the classic lineup and now Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2 receiving a long-overdue remaster. Both games have received a similar treatment to the previously released Tomb Raider 1-3 Remasters, with each game getting a facelift and a small overhaul to the controls. There are some quality-of-life improvements, such as the ability to control the camera in Soul Reaver 1 using the right analog stick instead of the L and R buttons.
Both trophy lists require you to basically see everything the game has to offer. Soul Reaver 1 is definitely the more complex game, with collectibles and optional areas, while Soul Reaver 2 is a very straightforward, linear experience with lots of lore. Both games contain missable trophies, so make sure to take advantage of the many save slots each game offers. Sadly there are also a few glitches as of the time this guide had been written, which most likely will be fixed sooner or later. Those issues can be avoided if you know how to avoid them though. Most important tip I can give is: do not skip cutscenes in Soul Reaver 1, even though you can do it now. Skipping cutscenes creates a few issues like audio delays and it can even make you miss a story-related trophy.
Step 1: Soul Reaver 1
Play through Soul Reaver 1 and make sure to create a savefile before the missable trophies like beating the first Kain battle without getting hit. You can follow the Collectible Guide to get all trophies in 1 run, it includes all missable trophies and collectibles in chronological order. Except for Ariel’s Hints, the other Collectibles aren’t missable and can still be obtained after defeating the final boss, by reloading the savefile which will place you before the final fight. Some other trophies, however, are highly missable. Whatever you do, DO NOT KILL HUMAN ENEMIES since this will lock you out of Don’t be afraid for the entire playthrough.
Here are all the missable trophies in chronological order as they appear in the game:
- Don’t be afraid – Do not kill a single human enemy in the game starts very early and ends when you reach the Human Citadel
- Dissolution – Jump into water in Physical Realm at any point before defeating Rahab
- Backstabber – Hit Melchiah in the back during his boss fight
- Unconscionable – Defeat Kain without getting hit
- Ariel Remembers – Starts right after defeating Kain for the first time and ends after defeating Dumah
- Dismembered – cut all of Zephon’s legs during the boss fight
- Don’t Get Your Feet Wet – reach the bell tower in the abbey without touching the water
- Spectral Talk – before starting the fight against Dumah, switch to Spectral realm first to talk to him
If you prefer, you can follow along the complete Platinum Video Walkthrough which will get you all trophies and collectibles in under 5 hours:
Step 2: Soul Reaver 2
Make sure to take advantage of the 32 save slots the game comes with, since there are 10 missable trophies. Make sure to have a especially good look at the Scare the Crows! trophy which is very glitchy as of writing of this guide. Also make sure to pay attention to all the weapons you have to pick up in a single playthrough. For Vampire Champion you need to beat the game in 6 hours. You can easily obtain all the trophies in the 6 hour time window once you know your way around the game but on the first run you will probably miss it, because of not knowing where to go next, which is part of the Soul Reaver 2 experience. Should you miss the 6 hour mark on your first run, just do another speedrun. This should not take more than 4 hours even if you are slow. Fighting is easier in this game when you don’t lock into the enemies, just running around and attacking enemies makes them more passive.
Note that Soul Reaver 2 doesn’t contain Collectibles so you don’t need to worry about that.
Here are all missable trophies for Soul Reaver 2 in chronological order as they will appear in the game:
- Scare the Crows! – Take a good look at the trophy in the guide below for an explanation
- Finish Him – Starts very early and ends towards the end of the game
- Keep Your Distance – can be done on the first Fire Demon and is also recommended to be done there
- Touch the Devil – can be done on the first Fire Demon and is also recommended to be done there
- Your Sacrifice was Rejected – inside the Wind Forge
- Split – best done in the Wind Forge
- On the Outside! – after Wind Forge and reaching the Sarafan era, make sure to go the Strondhold first before going to Janos
- Vertical Rush – inside Janos’ Retreat
- Inferno – after Fire Forge, on your way to the Stronghold for the final time, at the Pillars
- Vampire Champion – finishing the game in 6 hours or less

Story-related trophy but with a twist. In the chronoplast chambers you will be forced to watch 6 flashbacks. DO NOT SKIP THE FIST ONE. Even though you can skip cutscenes in the remaster, which was impossible in the original, skipping the first flashback will also skip the trophy. You can, however, just go back and rewatch the flashback to unlock the trophy.
You Nearly Had Me Defeat Kain the second time |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed.
A Breach From Above Infiltrate the Human Citadel |
||
The best time to visit the Human Citadel is after defeating Rahab and having the ability to swim. You can get there earlier but only after learning to swim you can actually finish everything that can be done there. To reach the Human Citadel in the Lake of the Dead area glide to the Northwest, swim through the tunnel and at the other side head to the left of the area. Open the door, place one block on another, from the ledge you reach you can glide inside the Citadel.
Cast Him In! Throw a vampire into the Lake of the Dead |
||
Not far from the abyss you can find a single vampire, beat him and throw him towards the abyss. Keep repeating the process until you reach the abyss itself and throw him in. If you have killed the vampire close to the abyss already, just come back later, he will respawn sooner or later.
Beyond Death Jump into the Lake of the Dead |
||
Simply jump into the abyss where you were thrown in during the intro cutscene.
Primordial Flame Obtain the Fire Reaver |
||
After defeating Rahab head back a few rooms into the flooded room, where you were jumping from one wooden beam to another. There underwater, in the middle of the room, you can shoot a window. Swim down and on the lower level once again search for stairs that will take you down another level, in the tunnel between the 2 staircases will be a tainted glass window with a Fire Sword design. Shoot the glass and at the other end put your sword into the flames to obtain the Fire Reaver.
Flipped Off Kill a vampire by flipping a block on them |
||
Have a dizzy vampire next to a pushable block and flip it on the vampire by holding and pressing . Can already be done in the tutorial section where ways to kill a vampire are explained to you.
Don’t Be Afraid Make humans worship you |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
You will have to reach the Human Citadel (See A Breach From Above how to reach it) without killing any human enemies throughout the game. You will encounter a few human enemies with crossbows throughout the game and you are not allowed to kill them. Should you reach the Citadel without killing any humans, the ones inside the Citadel will worship you when you get close to them. Note: The human-looking enemies inside the Silent Catedral do NOT count as human and can be killed (the one throwing knives at you). |
||
A Hymn of Death Activate the pipes in the upper section of the Cathedral to kill the Zephonim |
||
After defeating Zephon head back to the room with huge metal pipes on the walls and there you can climb up a wall to another set of 3 pipes.
Once up there open up all 3 of the pipes and the 2 enemies at the bottom of the room will die. Do not get this trophy confused with the 2 sets of 3 pipes you have to open to break the small glass lids. |
||
Untouchable Block a Turelim Telekinesis with your own |
||
Once you defeat the Tomb Guardian, you will receive the ability to shoot projectiles with . Simply keep distance to enemies that shoot projectiles at you and have the projectiles meet in the air. You will encounter many of those enemies and they look similar to the Tomb Guardian.
Taken by Surprise Perform 10 stealth kills |
||
You can sneak up on enemies by holding and backstab them with:triangle: while holding a weapon. There are a couple of spots where you can farm it, the best one being a room in the area where you obtain the Fire Glyph, there you can sneak up on 2 enemies. Re-entering the room will respawn them.
Dismembered Remove all of Zephon’s legs |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
During the fight against Zephon you will have to cut all 4 of his long legs with the Soul Reaver. Should you get hit and no longer have the Reaver, you can just switch to the Spectral Realm and refill your health there. Once you cut out all 4 of his legs, the trophy will unlock. |
||
From This Summit Get to the top of the water tower |
||
You will have to reach the Human Citadel (See A Breach From Above how to reach it). Inside the Citadel you can find the tower in the middle of the open area. In the back you can find a set of climbable walls that will eventually lead you to the stairs to the top of the tower.
Dissolution Jump into a pool of water without having the swim ability |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
Jumping into water will send you straight to the Spectral Realm. You have to do it before you defeat Rahab because afterward you will be immune to water. |
||
Double Impact Kill 2 vampires with Force Glyph |
||
Using the Force Glyph push 2 vampires into a body of water. A very good spot for that can be found close to the Pillars. There 2 Dumahim vampires will be standing on a small bridge with water on both sides. Beat them up and then use the Glyph by choosing it on the touchpad wheel and press to use it.
Don’t Get Your Feet Wet Reach the Abbey’s bell tower without touching the water |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
After defating the Tomb Guardian you will be told to go to the sunken abbey. Once you reach it you will see a cutscene introducing you to Rahab’s spawn. From now on you are not allowed to touch water until you pull a chain to ring a bell. From the cutscene glide to the right and glide from platform to platform until you can reach a ledge. From there follow the path that is water-free for a few rooms, until you reach a sunken room with a few small platforms on the surface. There once again glide from one to another. At the other side follow the path until you reach an unavoidable water pool. Instead of going in, switch to Spectral realm first to turn water into air, avoiding it in the first place. Follow the path up, switch to physical realm and climb the wall next to the realm switch. Now carefully glide from one wooden beam to the next until you reach a room with 2 vampires, kill them and shoot the window. Glide very carefully from one gargoyle to another and from there to the roof. From the roof again to another platform with the chain which you have to pull. |
||
Ariel Remembers Listen to all of Ariel’s hints |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
Ariel will first appear after you defeat Kain at the Pillars. After her initial cutscene you will find a glowing circle on the floor that will let you talk to her. She will give you hints about where to find the next boss. You have to hear all 5 of the dialogues throughout the game, this makes the trophy highly missable.
|
||
You Are Persistent, Raziel Leave a boss arena and come back |
||
During a boss fight switch to Spectral Realm and then purposefully die so you land at the beginning of the game. Then return to the boss arena for a unique dialogue and the trophy.
The trophy was tested and is confirmed to work against:
It seems not to work against:
Not tested:
It’s best to do it against either Zephon or Kain 2 since the runback to their boss arenas is by far the shortest, because of Warp Gates very close to the fight. |
||
Spectral Talk Talk to Dumah before resurrecting him |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
Once you find Dumah pinned to the throne, switch to Spectral Realm and talk to him. |
||
Seek100 Consume 100 vampire souls in one playthrough |
||
Should come naturally since consuming souls is an essential part of the game loop.
Unconscionable Do not get hit by Kain in the first encounter |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
Save before the fight. You will have hit Kain 3 times without being hit. You have enough time to run up to him and hit him every time but it is better to be safe than sorry. |
||
Not Without Purpose Glide for 30 seconds without using an updraft |
||
Even though it says to not use an updraft, the easiest spot to achieve it actually uses one. For whatever reason, the upper portion of the Cathedral does not count as an updraft. So glide to the upper section of the Cathedral and glide there in the updraft for 30 seconds and land afterward to pop the trophy.
Backstabber Hit Melchiah on his back and make him roar |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
During the Melchiah boss fight, get behind him and hit him in the back. |
||
Between the Zones Shift 50 times during the one playthrough |
||
Will unlock naturally since shifting is an essential part of the gameplay.
Warp Factor Activate all Warp Gates |
||
There are a total of 14 Warp Gates in the game, refer to Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered Collectible Guide.
Soul Spiral Reach maximum health capacity |
||
There are a total of 15 Health Upgrades in the game, refer to Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered Collectible Guide.
Great Old One Reach maximum glyph energy capacity |
||
There are a total of 11 Glyphs in the game (5 Glyph Energy upgrades and 6 regular Glyphs, refer to Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered Collectible Guide.
Alas, Poor Nupraptor Obtain Force Glyph |
||
After defeating Melchiah and leaving his stronghold you will hear from Elder God where to head next. Outside Melchiah’s lair jump into the water and phase through the gates underwater to find a room with 3 pillars. Push them over and the Force Glyph will appear.
Hammertime! Obtain Stone Glyph |
||
You can find the Stone Glyph in Nuprator’s Retreat. In order to reach the area, after defeating Zephon head to Melchiah’s Warp Gate. Once outside you can jump into the water and find a cave there. Follow it and you will reach an area with a huge skull. You can find the Warp Gate for the Stone Glyph area in the same place, by climbing a wall there. Now how to find the Stone Glyph:
|
||
Soulraver Obtain Sound Glyph |
||
After defeating the Tomb Guardian head back to the Silenced Cathedral and in the room with the first updraft jump down, follow the cave until you see a climbable wall and a window on top of it. Shoot the window with your projectile and head up there. To obtain the Sound Glyph follow these steps:
|
||
Firestarter Obtain Fire Glyph |
||
Can be only obtained after defeating Rahab, not earlier. You will also need the Fire Reaver to obtain the Fire Glyph, so make sure to have it before doing this. Teleport to Raziel Clan Territory and go the path you have taken towards Melchiah but at the first road split go left this time into the flooded staircase. Swim until you reach an open area with two exits. One straight ahead and one to the right. Go straight and emerge from the water in the next open area, if you did it correctly you will reach a circular area with red symbols on the wall.
|
||
Hydromancer Obtain Water Glyph |
||
Inside the Human Citadel, in the big open area with the water tower, jump into the moat just before the slopes that lead up into the main area and destroy the metal gate there with your projectile.
Swim through the tunnels to the very end, jump out of the water and you will reach a room with a female statue. To its right is a door, go inside, upstairs and jump across the small moat. Grab the block from the wall, push it into the moat and then to the very end of it down the waterfall. Jump down and push the block into the hole in the ground to fill the pit with water. Once you have done so, return to the statue to grab the Water Glyph. |
||
Daywalker Obtain Sunlight Glyph |
||
Can only be obtained after defeating Rahab. Head to the Silenced Cathedral and jump inside the water in front of it. Head to the right and there phase through the gate. On the other side, after a cutscene you can find a Warp Gate. Now where to find the Glyph:
Keep going up in the area until you reach a wooden door. Past the door you will see another cutscene. Follow the path and enter the first tunnel on the left which will lead you to a room with a machine in the middle, a Turelim vampire and a crank on the wall. Kill the vampire and climb up the vents in the middle of the machine. At the top you will find a block you can push down. Do so and push the block towards the crank. You can push the block in between the gears of the machine, but do not do that yet. Keep the block one space away from it and use the crank. You will see flames coming out of the slim pipes. Now push the block into the spot and the flames should stay on permanently. Head back outside and keep going downwards. Do not enter the door, instead jump across the rusty platforms into a tower. Enter the door there and you will reach a silo-like structure leading downwards. Get to the bottom of the area and go through the triangular opening you see in a cutscene. After the first opening switch to the Spectral Realm to get past the other objects blocking your way. On the other side use the realm switch to get back into Physical Realm and head through the door. You will have to solve a pipe puzzle with blocks. Once you have connected the pipes, follow the pipe to a valve and turn it. This will turn on some steam coming out of pipes, which you can use to glide up to the pump and from there to a grate. Go through the door and follow the path. Get past the moving machinery and head back outside where you will find the now-operational lighthouse. Jump back across the rusty platforms and this time enter the door you ignored earlier. At the end you will find an altar. Wait until the sunlight hits the wall and switch to the Spectral Realm to stop time so the rays of light hit the wall permanently. This will unlock the Glyph for you to grab. |

On the Outside Go to the Sarafan Stronghold before visiting Janos |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
After finishing the Air Forge and using the time chamber to get to the Sarafan era, you will be tasked with visiting Janos. The Serafan era starts in the swamp again and instead of heading towards Uschtenheim, head back to the beginning of the game, to the lake in front of the Sarafan Stronghold where you will see a cutscene and unlock the trophy. |
||
Drowned Rat II Make a human drown in a body of water |
||
While facing the opponent with keep pressing to kick the enemy into the lake in front of the Sarafan Stronghold, you will be here multiple times so you have multiple opportunities to do that.
Touch the Devil Twist Fire Demon’s neck with your bare hands |
||
Fire Demons are the huge monsters you meet for the first time after the cutscene with Ariel at the Pillars. In order to unlock the trophy you will have to defeat one of them, while bare-handed so Raziel performs a neck-breaking finisher on the beast. You might be tempted to go for it on the first Fire Demon, but before you do that, make sure to check the Keep Your Distance trophy just a bit below, since there is a Missable Trophy connected to that enemy.
Split Use an axe finisher on a Greater Thrall |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
Greater Thrall are the enemies you often meet in the Forges, they carry a shield which also is the key for the doors they are blocking. Even though the trophy is missable, do not worry about having to carry an axe with you all the time. In Air Forge you will meet multiple of those enemies with a conveniently placed axe on the wall in the very same room the enemies are in, so use this opportunity to use an Axe Finisher on a Great Thrall. |
||
Keep Your Distance Kill a fire demon groundling |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
Chances are high that you will not see those enemies in your entire playthough, because they are very rare and situational. Groundlings can be summoned by Fire Demons but Fire Demons are stubborn and a bit glitchy, which makes the trophy a bit glitchy itself. Fire Demons tend to have issues with their animations so they often skip them, causing a move to just stop mid-animation. The best way to have them spawn a groundling is:
If he does not spawn one for a long time, head back to Spectral Realm and repeat the process of running back to the Pillars so he respawns. It might take a while. If you are lucky he will do it fast, if not, you might spend 10-20 minutes here. |
||
Inferno Kill fire demons within 1 minute at the Pillars during the Sarafan era |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
After Fire Forge your task will be to navigate back to the Sarafan Stronghold. Save in the room where the Elder God keeps talking to you, since the trophy is missable. Back at the Pillars you will be ambushed by 3 Fire Demons. Use the Reaver to kill them fast. They only require about 5 hits each and you can dispose of them in 15 seconds easily, but they also hit hard so the save beforehand is a good insurance. |
||
Not Without Purpose II Glide for 25 seconds without using an updraft |
||
During the game you will navigate through flooded ruins multiple times and each time those ruins will have less water. In the big room with a Dark Reaver Cauldron and a climbable wall, you can easily glide for over 30 seconds when the room becomes waterless.
Reaver of Souls Feed the Reaver 30 times |
||
Shortly after the start of the game, your Reaver will become a permanent part of you and you will be able to use it even without full health. From now on, however, using it will fill up a circle and using it too much will drain your health. Simply defeat 30 enemies with the powered-up Reaver so it automatically feeds itself 30 souls. Should come naturally since the Reaver is by far the strongest weapon in the game.
Harvester of Souls Feed yourself 30 times |
||
After defeating an enemy hold to feed their soul to Raziel. Should come automatically, since it is an essential part of the game.
Air Lift Lift an enemy into the air with the Air Reaver |
||
After obtaining the Air Reaver aim with and shoot an enemy with .
Aerial Jump Make a human jump into air by using your feet in combat |
||
Simply lock into the enemy with and keep pressing for a combo ending with a kick, which will send the enemy flying.
Scare the Crows! Frighten all the crows surrounding the Dark Forge balcony |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
This trophy is extremely glitchy but it can be obtained with some preparations and a some tricks. During your first visit to the Swamp you will see a short cutscene of Vorador watching Raziel from a balcony. On this balcony you will find some crows sitting on the railing and you will have to scare them off for the trophy, but it will most likely not unlock for you if you do it unprepared. For some reason, not all the crows will spawn most of the time which will make the trophy unobtainable since it requires you to to scare ALL of them off.
If you just scare the crows on your way, there will not be enough of them on the balcony. And only after saving and reloading the savefile they will appear. This is likely a bit glitchy, it might not work 100% everytime but this is the only method that worked repeatedly after hours of trying. The whole trophy is pretty ironic since it is a reference to a game-breaking bug from the original game, which softlocked the player from leaving the Dark Forge if they scared the crows on the balcony and now it appears to be the most glitchy trophy in the game. |
||
Your Sacrifice Was Rejected Bring the wrong sacrificial heart to the altar in Air Forge |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
In the Air Forge you will be tasked with bringing 3 colored hearts to their corresponding places. Simply bring one of them to the incorrect tunnel and you will be punished by being sent to the spectral realm. You can miss it if you place all 3 hearts correctly immediately. |
||
Finish Him Use every type of weapon to finish the enemy |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
This trophy is highly missable since every weapon has a specific time or a place where it appears. There are a total of 12 (13 if you count your bare hands) weapons you have to use for the trophy:
|
||
What Sorcery Is This?! Kill three sorceresses in a row without being hurt |
||
Sorceresses are bald women who appear in the late part of the game. They are regular enemies that respawn when travelling far distance so the trophy is technically not missable, but it is better to do it at the first few sorceresses you see. When you see the first one, grab your Reaver and run straight at her, while jumping over or dodging her projectile. Just hit her 3 times with the Reaver without locking on to her and keep on moving to the next one, doing the same and just running past everything else. You will meet a lot of them in a short span of time.
Vertical Rush Complete the Janos’ Aerie final interior puzzle within 15 minutes |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
You will enter Janos’ Aerie through an underwater tunnel. Inside the first room grab the Air Reaver and destroy the wall in the tunnel on the second floor. Outside grab the Dark Reaver and head back inside to blind the eye so you can grab the cup. Transport the blood from one cauldron to the other to open the path to the next section BUT before you continue, make sure to grab Air Reaver again in this room before leaving because it helps in the next room, which will be the one you have to finish in 15 min or less. After the next cutscene your time starts so here is the solution to the room:
15 Minutes are very generous once you know where to go. You can do it in half the time easily. |
||
Vampire Champion Complete the game within 6 hours |
||
MISSABLE TROPHY!
This is missable since it is a speedrun trophy spanning across an entire playthrough. You have to beat the game in under 6 hours. If you are not familiar with the original game, you might not make it in time. If you know where to go, however, the game can be easily finished in only 3 hours, so the time is very generous. If you miss out on it on the first run simply do another speedrun to get it easily. |

Is the PS4 list not appearing in anyone else’s trophy log? I’ve apparently earned afew but it’s not showing.
Also tested the PS5 version and that list appears fine.

Never mind, update patch fixed it.

Also tested the PS5 version and that list appears fine.

You are persistent, Raziel does work at Melchiah.
Ps4sneakerhead says
You can do it with Kain. Make a new save after the fight, quit and reload. When you return the trophy will pop.
Lee Hopkins says
Awesome guide as always. Just an FYI for You are Persistent Raziel trophy Melchiah works too.
Matthew says
How on earth do you earn the “Taken by Surprise” trophy? I’ve snuck up behind enemies constantly, held the triangle button and they’ve died but the tracker says I’ve only managed a successful stealth kill on 1 enemy?
Matthew says
Figured it out. Grab a weapon and find an unaware enemy. Don’t hold R1 and sneak up behind them but get close enough that they’re in view. Then just hold Triangle so it auto-aims and then release. It should kill an enemy instantly and count as a stealth kill
Jeff Holweg says
Another method that counts is using the fire reaver. If they remain unaware of your presence and you shoot them, they immediately ignite, that’s how I obtained it.
Raziel says
I did it after getting the fire reaver, just simply shoot them with the projectile from a distance and it counts as a stealth kill. Make sure to do the 10th kill “properly” with a sword, I heard that if you do the last one with the fire reaver method that it crashes your game.
Jaume says
you can also trow weapons at them to impale them.
Kara lily says
You are persistent raziel trophy. Kain 1 works. Also, you can save at the start of the fight than reload. Go back and you should get this trophy.
Martin says
Don’t get your feet wet won’t unlock. Followed your guide step by step never touched the water and tried many times but never unlocks. Any ideas?
Sactravas says
I spent most of that in spectral, so basically if you graze the water that is fine but if you fall in and shift that nullifies the trophy.
Once you get to the room with the pool of water that you have to jump piller to piller, jump to the third piller and shift to spectral. Jump to the 4th piller and move forward. Stay in spectral till the climbing wall, shift then climb and at the top shift back. Jump across the rafters.
Shift to normal realm and kill the vamps, blast the window. Shift back to spectral and traverse the gargoyles, shift on the roof and the jump to the window pull chain and trophy should pop.
Basically if you fall off in spectral realm it doesn’t count as water.
Ps4sneakerhead says
I had this too. If you visit too early the sunken temple by mistake, and there is no narration when reaching it, the trophy will glitch. You need to do it right after you get the projectile blast AND having spoken to Ariel. If you come in and the elder god narrates the temple, you will get it if you do it.
Pascal1609 says
It starts at the boat you have to pass, after the tomb guard. From there dont touch any water
Cornelius says
Tested the “You are persistent, Raziel” trophy on Kain 1, the trophy popped for me there.
Suzaku says
i just tested
You Are Persistent, Raziel
Leave a boss arena and come back
against Rahab and it worked

What os the point in saving wherever you like in SR1 if reloading sends you back to where the game starts?
Hybridreanimate says
Humans worship is not missable. I assumed I had missed it as already been killing every human since start.
When I got to human citadel they still worshipped me, I figure saving game and quitting to title and reloading resets the human kill count or similar.
RazKurdt says
I’m afraid this game is extremely glitchy trophy wise, on PS4 at least…in my current and first playthrough I just reached the Oracle’s warpgate and the map shows I’m missing a health upgrade even tho I have max HP AND the Soul Spiral trophy unlocked, so I guess it’s not too bad except that the Great Old One trophy suffers the opposite problem : the map shows that I got them all, I’m full powered but the trophy didn’t pop up. I also had to do the Sound Glyph twice since it wasn’t appearing in the menu despite me having the related trophy already, thankfully redoing it again also unlocked the Lore Master trophy. Another problem with Ariel Remembers, I’m 100% sure I listened to all her dialogues since I even remember them, but still no trophy.
So I guess I’ll have to redo 90% of the game, this time I’ll try to do everything in one go to avoid issues…I’ll see later if the Warp Factor works or not otherwise that’s 99% of the game I have to redo, thankfully it’s in my top 3.
Joseph Marques says
Same here. Great Old One is gliched. It will not unlock if you get all the eldrich power-ups before getting the last glyph.
Miles says
I ran into the issue with the “Great Old One” trophy too. If you collect all eldrich powerups before you collect all glyphs then the trophy does not unlock. There are several reddit threads about this issue, might be worth adding a missable flag to the “Great Old One” trophy.
Jeff Holweg says
For the “Don’t be afraid” trophy, you actually can kill some of the crossbow wielding enemies and still obtain the trophy. I had accidentally killed 2 prior to reaching the human citadel and the trophy still popped. I’m not sure if it’s just humans within the citadel that count or if there’s a certain amount the locks you out, but you do not get locked out for sure of you happen to kill 1 or 2 of the crossbow wielding humans you encounter before reaching the citadel. ????
Lawrence says
The Finish Him trophy appears to be bugged, as I’ve killed enemies and seen finishers with all of the weapons, but it has not yet been obtained.
Akiba says
actually the trophy is bugged for me so do you have a solution?
Resident Space Hill says
Unrelated but will you guys cover Indiana Jones when it hits PS5?
PunishingFist47 says
For Not Without Purpose trophies, if you jump and glide literally anywhere then open photo mode (L3 + R3) wait out the respective 30/25 secs then land, the trophy should pop this way as well. I did this myself while jumping about 3 feet in front of my current position, opening photo mode then when I landed the trophy popped.
Heavensreaper93 says
Does using the old ps1 cheat codes which I believe still work disable any trophies for soul reaver 1
Draegor says
“Don’t get your feet wet” the trigger actually starts at the river crossing with the ship, before entering Rahab’s domain.
DMraid says
Amazing explanation!
Id say Soul Reaver 1 is around 11-12 hours playtime though. 14 hours if you include some backtracking with missable trophies. And im someone who played Soul Reaver back in the day.
5-6 hours with all secrets is like a semi optimized speedrun.
2bNs says
I totally agree. 10+ hours is the minimum, if you’re not speedrunning the game. If you watch the video guide and replicate everything without any mistakes (which is unlikely), it would take around 9h.
Lucas Oliveira says
Just a heads up to everybody playing the first game: DO NOT get the Ruined City Health Upgrade before you have all the others. This one is glitched and won’t count towards the trophy/statistics, at least on the PS4.
Again: make sure it is the last health upgrade you collect.
