Kingdom Hearts 3 has 20 Moogle Photo Missions. This guide will show all Photo Mission Locations for the Moogle Shop. These are required to unlock new Synthesis blueprints.
Photo Missions are small side quests that are given to you by the Moogle Shop characters throughout the game, starting when you reach Twilight Town, with more becoming available as you progress through the story. There are 20 total missions, and each one requires you to take a photo with your Gummiphone of a specific thing throughout the game. Completing each mission gives you an Armor or Accessory item, as well as the Synthesis recipe for that item, which you then have to make one of each in order to earn the Synthesist trophy or achievement. No missions are missable, and all can be completed easily after the story.
Taking pictures can be somewhat finicky, and some subjects (such as the heartless enemies) you need to get fairly close to in order for the photo to count. You will know you have completed the requirement because there will be a red popup saying you have done so when you get the required picture.
Below each mission is listed out in the order displayed in the menu, along with the requirement, reward, approximately when it is made available, and an easy spot to take the picture. Note for the enemy locations there are other places to find them, these are just the ones that appeared closest to save points for easily moving to each spot.
For all Synthesis Blueprints and Materials, refer to this guide: Kingdom Hearts 3 Synthesis Items List.

This battle gate spawns a Demon Tower, and is as far as I’m aware this is the only place that you can find a Demon Tower after the point you can actually do this photo mission. Activate the portal to spawn the enemies and take a picture when you’re able to. If you want to make it easier you can clear out the other small enemies first so that you only need to watch for the Demon Tower attacking you.

To make sure that the photo counts for the requirement it is best to take the photo while not in combat. Pull up your camera and wait for the character acknowledge that you’re pointing the camera at them, then take it while they’re doing their pose or animation.
All required teammates and locations are listed as follows:
- Donald and Goofy (Any Location)
- Hercules (Olympus)
- Woody and Buzz (Toy Box)
- Flynn and Rapunzel (Kingdom of Corona)
- Mike and Sully (Monstropolis)
- Marshmallow (Arendelle)
- Jack Sparrow (The Caribbean)
- Baymax (San Fransokyo)
That’s all 20 Moogle Photo Missions in Kingdom Hearts III. Now you can synthesize the blueprints you earned which is needed for the Synthesist trophy and achievement. For all other Synthesis Blueprints check out the Kingdom Hearts 3 Synthesis Items List.

I am beyond frustrated with the Teammate Photo Mission!
I swear, I’ve taken pictures of each teammate three times over! And still the bloody moogle thinks that I’m missing one person.
The only one I can think of would be Rapunzel because now that her stories over, she’s not a teammate.
Seems like an oversight if that’s the case.
Keira says
Nevermind, I didn’t take good enough pictures of Marshmallow, apparently lol
Stef says
This same exact thing happened to me!!!! I was getting so freaking frustrated ?
DoopityDoo says
I’m thinking that may be my problem as well been stuck at 11
Pashiona says
Hey idk if you figured it out but you can still take a pic of Rapunzel in the festival square even after you best the game and she’s not on your team
KlooKloo says
Just take multiple pictures of everyone. And make sure you get all of them in frame. Even leave room above and below them. I missed a picture of flynn when he was definitely in frame and doing his pose. But i backed up and then it counted.
