This guide shows where to find the Flantastic Seven in Kingdom Hearts 3. Finding all 7 Flans is needed for the Flanmeister trophy and achievement. The Flans give you unique side missions or challenges. When reaching a certain score threshold in the challenge they give you the fruit that’s on their head. These fruits are needed to complete All Ingredients for the Cornucopia trophy and also to cook All Meals for the Master Chef trophy. Furthermore, completing all Flan’s missions once is also a requirement for All Game Records which in turn unlocks the One for the Books trophy.
You cannot find the Flantastic Seven on the first playthrough! They only spawn after having beaten their respective world for the first time. After beating the world you can either replay it immediately to find the Flan or wait until you’re done with the story and then go back for all of them.
To earn the Flanmeister trophy and make them count towards Game Records you don’t actually need a highscore, just completing their event with any score is enough. Just to get their ingredients you must get a high enough score.
#1 – Cherry Flan
Olympus – Thebes / Overlook:
From the “Overlook” fast travel point head upstairs until you reach a dead end.
In this mission you will have to ride of Goofy’s shield and hit as many Flan’s as possible. Each time you hit a wall you slow down a little. Crashing too often will fail the challenge. You can regain speed by sliding across the arrows on the floor. Try getting to the last area, there will be lots of Flans waiting there.
#2 – Strawberry Flan
Toy Story – Galaxy Toys / Rest Area:
Just next to the “Rest Area” fast travel point.
This is one of the easiest mission where all you have to do is pile up Flans by driving through them. Hostile Flans will try to hit you, each hit loses you a collected Flan. However, you can speed up by press / to keep your distance from foes.
#3 – Blood Orange Flan
Kingdom of Corona – The Forest / Hills:
Where you spawned at the very start of Kingdom of Corona in your first playthrough of this world.
All you do here is take 7 photos. Take them all in excellent condition for bonus points. Excellent requires you to wait for the Flan to make a certain pose, after aiming at it for a few seconds with the camera.
#4 – Banana Flan
Monstropolis – The Factory/ Basement:
Go through the small white door straight in front of the “Basement” fast travel point (door is leaning against a wall). This leads to a new room, take the next right turn and you’ll see a wall with lots of colored doors hanging on it. Step through the yellow / brown door that has a red light on it, bottom row, end of the line. One of your buddies may say “this will take us right back to the platform”. After going through that door, turn around immediately and you’ll see the Flan in the distance with a banana on its head. Don’t slide across the two rails in the area, if you slided across any rails you’ve gone too far.
This minigame is one of the hardest. One big flan will try to hit you while you have to kill lots of small flans. The trouble is when you don’t pay attention to the big flan for just a second it might hit you. So keep an eye on it at all times and doge a lot when it tries to hit you. Also use area-of-effect magic such as Thundara to take out many small Flans at once.
#5 – Grape Flan
Arendelle – The North Mountain / Mountain Ridge:
Jump down the hill to the left of the “Mountain Ridge” fast travel point (ice castle).
Here you will have to kill as many enemies as possible before time runs out. Being a high level helps a lot here as the enemies will die much quicker.
#6 – Watermelon Flan
The Caribbean – Port Royal, Fort:
In the center of the fort.
Here you must shoot flying flans with the cannon. This is one of the easier minigames. From time to time, a bigger Watermelon flan will spawn in the distance. Hitting it will wipe out all other flans. An easy way to do this is to hit the bell in the middle when it has an orange shimmer around it (between the 4 cannons). This will fire multiple shots from all cannons, thus has a high chance of hitting the Watermelon flan.
#7 – Honeydew (Melon) Flan
San Fransokyo – The City / South District (Night):
This one is only available at night! Spawn at the South District (Night) fast travel point. Immediately turn around and run straight up the building, then keep gliding straight ahead to the nearest rooftops. One of them will have this Flan on it. Again, this is only there at night.
All you do here is jump on top of some Flans and don’t hit the ground.
That’s all of the Seven Flantastic Locations in Kingdom Hearts III.

For one Ingredient it is 10k for the Ingredient plus ability it is 20k.
Jamie says
I’ve got every score about 20k and have not received the Orichalcum+.
It seems that the scores are likely to need slightly more than 20k. I was able to narrowly get 20k in the blood orange flan but did not receive the ability.
So either you need a score of roughly 21k/22k+ for all the mini-games, or they all have different point thresholds at around the 20k mark.

Actually, the Flan in Toy Box spawned for me on the first visit. So you might not need to beat the world first.
Tim says
I was able to do the Toy Story Flan mission before I completed that worlds story.
Daniel says
Depending on world you can do the flan before beating the world, for Olympus and Arendele for example you have to beat it first to reach the area where the flan spawns, but for toybox it seems to be there from the getgo.
MisterX867 says
Actually for Orange, ignore the ones that walk back and forth and go for the unique ones like the 2 that fall off a tree, the one that’s underwater, the group of 5 and the tiny one that jumps out of a bush. I got 24k when I did that and got the ability from it.
Paul says
For the monsters inc. flan it is really easy with aeroga instead of thundra.
Peter says
For the banana flan just use the meow wow balloon link, but don’t deflate at any point. Easiest flan by far.
E4E Lazy Shadow says
I took all 7 blood orange photos perfectly and gott 22400 but still only 1 fruit…
E4E Lazy Shadow says
This just in… it requires 23000 points for blood orange flan to give treasure magnet ability… [3x flying], [animal lover], [5 performers], [2 in tree] and one wandering…

For the banana flan spam aeroga/aeroza to easily rack points.
Redd says
Regarding the Watermelon flan, you can use Thundaga to hit 3 cannons at once if you position yourself correctly, making this already easy event even easier.
Callie says
Use links. I used kings roar for the banana flan and I did it on my second try. Make sure to have an ether at the ready and dodge as soon as you come out of the link or you’ll be eaten. Thus the reason it took me 2 tries
