To find huntsman Vostatek is an objective in Side Quest Lackey in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (KCD2). The game gives you a big search area in the woods. Even without the quest you can find him in free-roam.
Huntsman Vostatek location:
Follow the road north from Vidlak Pond, you will run into a guy screaming for help, this is Huntsman Vostatek. He is surrounded by wolves. You must defeat the wolves, then he climbs down the tree and you can talk to him to advance the Lackey side quest.
If you’re going for the “Lent” trophy (no animal kills), then you will have to kick the wolves without a weapon equipped to knock them out.
If you don’t help Vostatek immediately, then the wolves will kill him. Since you can find him here in free-roam this is potentially easy to mess up. If you were to move on after finding him, he will die and the quest fails, which also voids all of his follow-up tasks.
