Starting Location: Victimised

To start this quest, you must have completed Main Quest 18: Taking French Leave along with the task Damsel in Distress and wait a few in-game days. After both of these are complete, you can find the girl from the shed, Margaret, begging outside of the Pschitoky Inn.

You’ll have a long conversation with her about why she did what she did and what she is doing now. To start the quest agree to help her with her plan. You have the option during the conversation of just paying her 1000 Groschen now, but this skips the quest entirely.

Help Margaret get the wealthy burgher’s money

Margaret has an elaborate plan for how to rob a wealthy man for her and your benefit. You’ll need to obtain a few different items before you can put the plan into action.

Find a sleeping potion

You’ll need to obtain a Lullaby potion to give to the man. You can sometimes find these around on enemies or in chests so you may already have one. If you don’t, you should be able to purchase one from the Apothecary in Pschitoky.

Bring Margaret a new dress

You’ll need to bring Margaret a new dress to wear during the setup. These can be purchased from the tailors in Kuttenberg.

Look as classy as possible

You will also need to look as nicely dress up as you can, which you can also do at the tailors. Purchase some high charisma stat items, such as the Burgher coat and Noble’s hood.

When you are checking if you are set up, wear your clothing and speak with Margaret, and she’ll confirm if you are dressed up enough.

Talk to Margaret in Kuttenberg in the evening

You’ll then need to head to the marked spot in Kuttenberg to meet up with Margaret. You can interact near the door to wait for her, which will skip time to 21:00.

Go and talk to Latsek in the tavern

You’ll then need to head into the Hangman’s Haltern tavern to the back where Latsek is waiting for you.

You’ll need to pass a speech check to get him to talk with you, the Craftsmanship or Warfare ones are easier to pass.

Unobtrusively pour the sleeping potion into Latsek’s tankard

Latsek will then get up to take a piss. Wait for him to walk away, then interact with his cup and pour the Lullaby Potion into it.

Wait for Latsek to drink

Wait for Latsek to come back and speak with him so he takes a drink. .

Wait until the potion takes effect

Latsek will get up and start walking outside, follow after him.

Carry the sleeping Latsek to Margaret in the hayloft

Latsek should pass out just outside the tavern. You can then pick him up off the ground and carry him to where you met Margaret before. Nobody will bother you for carrying him, but make sure you have a torch out of guards will yell at you.

When you reach the spot, drop him in the building.

Talk to Margaret

After confirming with Margaret about the plan, you can take a nap and then automatically wake up in a few hours. Go through the door out of the building you’re in to speak with Margaret.

Follow Margaret

Follow Margaret to his house where you will confront Latsek.

Talk to Latsek and get the money from him

While confronting him you can stay silent the whole time and Margaret successfully extorts him without you needing to give any input.

Return to Margaret in the hayloft

You can then follow Margaret back to the hayloft. You can talk to her on the way, and she’ll start seeming a bit more suspect than she already was.

Talk to Margaret in the hayloft

You can then talk to her and choose how you receive your reward. If you decide to kiss her, she will steal a large portion of your money before leaving. If you turn down the kiss, you choose how much of the money you receive. Regardless of your choice, this completes the quest.

This finishes Victimised side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

You can also choose not to receive a reward. If you speak up at any point in time while confronting the tailor, her story will unravel and the truth will be revealed. You can then pass some easy checks to force her to either give you or the tailor the money.

Margaret isn’t there for me. And I’ve completed Damsel in Distress and Taking French Leave days ago in the game

just wait for few in game days (after you finish damsel in distress and taking french leave – whichever you finish last, wait at least 3-4 days after it). it should be available

Got the dress and the sleeping potion but the quest is stuck on the look good part, as she just sits there and I can’t even talk to her despite wearing a 30 charisma set of clothes. Bug?

Offload your money into your trunk before going back to the hay shed with her.

The trick to this quest is simple: stash all your money in storage right before completing it. But if you really wanna go full Gooner mode, pickpocket her as you walk to the hay bale, then drop the money just outside the door before going in. (She had 510 Groschen on her, and now she won’t be taking a cut of that either.)

Then, waltz in, give her the best five minutes of her life, and in the morning, she wakes up with nothing. Henry still acts like he got robbed, but there’s no ‘parted with’ notification—because I outplayed the devs and finessed the little gold-digging wench, all while securing a night with the hottest girl in the game. Absolute W. HAHAHA!

For anyone having issues with finding Margaret after few days – you need to ‘reset the map’. I did have the same problem – I did not have Margaret showing up for like 10 days even after innkeeper telling me that there is some girl-beggar in his in keep. To reset your map – travel to Trosky and travel back to Kuttenberg – I actually done it twice and I had star on Psythoky inkeep. Hope that helps.

      This works fine.

I had the issue where the Innkeeper mentioned the beggar but she didn’t appear. I went to Trosky map & back to Kuttenberg map and she appeared along with her quest marker.

I choose divvy the money and let her keep all of it for the imaginary friend and her friend’s imaginary child and gain some reputation. Then I proceeds to pickpocket everything from her including her “mother’s ring” and my dress I gave to her alongside 500+50 groschen and 1 set of key.

You can also pickpocket her on the way back to the Hay Shed. Additional dialogue options.

So I guess I’m the only person who talked up, threatened her and then murdered her in the street? Then went back to the tailor and gave him his money?

I had read somewhere that Margaret is a romance character, so i decided to play along with her. The quest was quite entertaining, and when i woke up she had stolen 11K groschen from me… Not that it really mattered as i still had close to 50K on me and another 100K in my chest.
I thought this might have given me the for loosing 10000 groschen, but it didn’t. Appearently this doesn’t count as loosing it?

“Her ring” belongs to the Miller she robbed, you can retuen it and also inform him you ended her which you should.
