Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Nail in the Coffin Walkthrough

Nail in the Coffin is a side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Nail in the Coffin side mission.

• Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region
• Quest Giver: Automatically started upon completion of Enough!, Fight Dirty, and Teeth in a Bag.
• Requirement: Complete tasks Enough!, Fight Dirty, and Teeth in a Bag
• Reward: Shoulder Throw combo, Unarmed XP

• Quest Description: At the cemetery in Kuttenberg, I could meet the strongest fighter around. Maybe it’s a superstition, maybe I’m going to fight for the title of grandmaster.

Objectives:

1. Search for the Kuttenberg grandmaster
2. Challenge the gravedigger Frantishek to a fight at night
3. Defeat grandmaster Frantishek
4. Talk to Frantishek

Starting Location: Nail in the Coffin

This quest is started automatically once you complete the tasks Enough!, Fight Dirty, and Teeth in a Bag. The fight proprietor you speak to at the end of the final task will tell you about the Kuttenberg grandmaster, automatically giving you the first objective.

Search for the Kuttenberg grandmaster

To find the grandmaster, you will need to head to the cemetery in Kuttenberg at night. This is located in the northwest corner of the city around a church.

The person you are looking for is Gravedigger Frantishek, who will normally be at the cemetery during the day, or inside his house just slightly east at night.

Challenge the gravedigger Frantishek to a fight at night

If you spoke to him during the day, you’ll need to wait until nighttime (after 21:00) to challenge him to a fight when he goes back to the cemetery.

Defeat grandmaster Frantishek

Frantishek isn’t very tough for being the grandmaster. He will counter most left or right punches you throw, but you can avoid this by kicking from below or pushing him toward a wall. He will fight until he gets knocked out, so keep hitting him without worrying about stopping.

Talk to Frantishek

After knocking him out, wait for him to wake up and speak with him. He’ll offer to teach you something for winning, and completing the task.

This finishes Nail in the Coffin side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
