- Challenge Vira to a fight
- Talk to Kreyzl about the winnings
Starting Location: Melee at the Mill
During Main Quest 5: Wedding Crashers, you can choose to either help the blacksmith or the miller. Head to the southwest of the map to find the miller. Talk to him and pick the dialogue “What’s the pen beyond the stream for?” > “Can I try too?“. He will explain it’s for fighting which starts this quest.
Challenge Hensel to a fight
Talk to Hensel, at day he is found at the pen in the northwest corner of the Semine Mill, just a few meters away from where you talked to the Miller. He has a green “A” marker on the compass.
Exhaust his dialogue to start the first fight. It’s recommended to wager 10 Groschen on each fight to make some money from this. If you lose you can simply reload the last autosave to retry. You can also pause the game between fights and select “Save & Quit” to make a manual save. To heal between fights, sleep in a bed (inside the building where the miller sits, top floor up the ladder). However, the fighters will only be there at daytime, so if you sleep until evening or night they won’t be there and you must rest again. Sleeping also causes your hunger to rise, so you’ll need to consume food after sleeping. Luckily, there’s a pot of soup in the miller’s room that you can eat from repeatedly, and it replenishes over time.
The safest strategy is to overwhelm your opponent with attacks. Whenever the opponent attacks and you see the green shield icon, press /
to counter and
/
to land a multi-hit combo. Look out for the opponent counter-attacking back when you do this. Rinse and repeat. Keep on the pressure even if your stamina gets low, when the opponents block their stamina drops too, and the more damage they take the lower their maximum stamina gets. Basically, just throw enough punches in a row and some will land. You can do perfect counters with
even when your stamina is depleted.
After beating Hans talk to him again (if he goes unconscious he will wake up after a moment).
Challenge Malik to a fight
Talk to Malik, he’ll stand at the fence outside the fighting pen. Pick “Let’s fight!” when you’re ready. Bet 10 Groschen again.
Win again, talk to him after.
Challenge Vira to a fight
Challenge the final opponent Vira, who also stands at the fence outside the pen. If your health is low you can save & quit to menu to make a save, if you lose you can reload this so you don’t need to repeat all fights again. Feel free to wager another 10 Groschen.
Talk to Kreyzl about the winnings
Return to Miller Kreyzl and tell him “I defeated all your hands“. He now offers to send you to the fistfight tournament in Zhelejov and to pay for your entry fee. You get 125 Groschen for your work.

Can this not be done after the wedding? Trying to talk to the miller and he doesn’t have this option to start a fight in the pen.
PowerPyx says
Still works after wedding, 100% confirmed. I did it myself after wedding. I did the rest of the melee brawler questline after finishing the main story too. On PS5 patch 1.010.001.
Exhaust all his dialogues, rest 1 hour, talk to him again. If he doesn’t have the option talk to Hensel in the mill area, standing in front of the fight pit (see objective “Challenge Hensel to a fight”). He can start the quest too.
Potentially, if you still have his other quests active his dialogues might be temporarily “stuck”, in which case finish Opus Magnum and try then. Also check your journal, maybe you already triggered the quest earlier. If none of that works try advancing the story and come back later, e.g. after reaching Kuttenberg.
