Last Rites is the 31st main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Last Rites main story quest.
Note: for the 1st main quest identically called “Last Rites” refer to the Prologue Walkthrough. The 1st and 31st quest are both called “Last Rites”.
Godwin & Capon drinking together
The quest has you playing as Godwin while Henry/Samuel are out to get reinforcements. At the start Godwin and Capon will be talking. It doesn’t matter what dialogues you pick here at all. They will get drunk together. After the second round of drinks you pass out. You wake up the next morning to a loud bang – the castle is under attack again.
Find out what happened
Go downstairs to the courtyard, a cutscene will play where you see the castle being partially destroyed by a catapult.
The rest of the quest is a flashback to the first main quest. Or rather, the first quest was a foretelling of the game’s end. You must go through the same steps as you did at the very start of the game.
Go up the stairs to the front ramparts
Go up the stairs in front of you, shoot the enemies with your crossbow and knock down the ladders.
Help defend the gate in the courtyard
Go downstairs, help shoot the enemies behind the gate. Your allies will burn them with fire.
Follow the commander Dry Devil
Follow Dry Devil up the stairs in the southwest corner.
Knock down the ladder
Follow Dry Devil onto the wall, then hold 
/ 
to knock down the ladder. This triggers the same cutscene that ended the first quest, but this time you get the extended version that shows the full outcome of the siege. Hans gets shot in the shoulder by a crossbow but survives. Godwin and wounded Hans continue fighting.
The courtyard gets breached and Suchdol is overrun. Your surviving allies barricade in the tower and await their last stand while the enemies break the doors. The situation seems hopeless, but in the last moment, Henry returns with the full force of all your allied lords’ armies. Led by Hanush, Radzig, and Margrave Jobst of Luxembourg you launch a counter-assault to take back Suchdol. This begins the game’s final quest: Judgement Day.
This finishes Last Rites main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
