Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 How to Fast Travel

There is Fast Travel in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (KCD2), but the game never tells you about it. So this can easily be overlooked.

How to fast Travel: As you unfog the map you will unlock blue “shield” icons on the map. You can click on the blue shield icons to fast travel. Most settlements have a fast travel point.

Here’s what the fast travel icon looks like:

Note that you can only fast travel while outside buildings. Inside buildings you’ll get a warning “you can’t fast travel from this location”. Fast travel consumes nourishment and stamina, just like it would when traveling yourself. During fast travel you can also encounter random events, such as ambushes by bandits or wolf attacks. You can choose to engage in the event or to keep traveling.

Fast Travel between Trosky & Kuttenberg Regions: After Main Quest 12: Storm you reach the game’s second region “Kuttenberg”. You can then fast travel back and forth between Trosky (starting region) by going to the red carriage icon on the map. This will be automatically marked. In Kuttenberg it’s west of Suchdol, in Trosky it’s east of Troskowitz. This costs 200 Groschen for each use in either direction.
