Objectives:
- Steal shoes from Vejmola the cobbler
- Find the older Vejmola’s lost medal
- Steal the rosary from Ursula’s ma
- Steal the book from Father Anthony
- Steal Bohuska’s ring
- Hand over the stolen items to Pavel
Starting Location: All’s fair…
To start this quest, speak with Hired Hand Pavel in the village of Wysoka and offer to help him.
When speaking with him you’ll have a very long conversation about items he wants you to steal from a number of people. Make sure to go through every option for Speech XP and to get as much information as possible. You will then have 4 specific locations to check, and the large area around the village where the magpie nests might be.
Outside of finding the magpie nest, it is recommended to complete all these objectives at night to make sneaking around and stealing easier.
You can also speak with Pivetz, which can alter the end of the quest.
Steal shoes from Vejmola the cobbler
The cobbler’s house is in the southwest corner of the village. Pavel gives you the key so you don’t need to pick the lock at night.
To find the shoes enter the house, then open the door on the right to the bedroom. Between the door and the chest, you can find the boots you need to steal.
Find the older Vejmola’s lost medal
You can find Vejmola’s medal in a nest in the yard east of the “Steal Bohuska’s ring” objective.
Nests can be knocked down either with ranged weapons or crouching and throwing rocks. You can then interact with the nest on the ground to loot the Vejmola’s medallion item.
Steal the rosary from Ursula’s ma
Ursula’s house is located in the center of the village, and that is where you can find her ma at night.
The door on their house and the door to their bedroom are Very Easy locks, but the chest with the Rosary will be a hard lock. If you can’t pick this you can try stealing the key, which shouldn’t be too hard because Ursula’s ma should be sleeping. Either way you open it, loot the Gemstone Rosary from the chest.
Steal the book from Father Anthony
Father Anthony’s home is located on the north side of town near the chapel.
Enter his house then go through the door on the left to Father Anthony’s bedroom. On the table in the corner, you can find the Wysoka priest’s alchemy book.
Steal Bohuska’s ring
Bohuskha’s house is located in the southeast corner of town (the house the yard with the magpie nest).
If you listen to her talking in her sleep, you can figure out she accidentally dropped the ring in the dough for the Poppy seed kolach that is sitting all over her kitchen.
Pick them up and then eat them out of your inventory, and the game should automatically give you the Silver cake ring.
Hand over the stolen items to Pavel
Once you have stolen all the items, wait until daytime and then speak with Pavel. If you had spoken with Pivetz earlier, you can call him out on not being able to plant the items himself and reveals he was going to steal them. You can still choose to give him the items at that point, give him 1000 Groshcen yourself, or turn him down.
If you give him the items or pay him directly, you’ll get some Vitality XP for your trouble.
If you gave him money you can then turn the items in to Father Anthony or keep them yourself to sell. You’ll get some Scholarship XP and a rep increase for turning them in, but no other reward.
